Another good smartphone in a compact form factor in my top 10. The Japanese company managed to make an almost uncompromising device, not too expensive and a powerful gadget with a good camera and a small display. The first thing that catches your eye is the unusually sized 4.6-inch display with HD resolution. Afterwards, attention switches to one of best cameras in the class - a 23 megapixel lens with the ability to shoot in the dark. A more modest photo module with a resolution of 5 megapixels is responsible for frontal selfie shooting. In the phone body there was a place for a productive chip from Qulacomm with 6 cores, and a graphics core - Adreno 510, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of main memory and a 2700 mAh battery. This is also a good option for buying for yourself, or as a gift for loved ones.

Another budget smartphone - not bad, but not the best, with modest technical characteristics that match its physical size. The smartphone was equipped with a 4.5 inch IPS display with a very non-standard and slightly outdated resolution of 960 by 540 pixels. RAM 2 GB and 16 ROM with the ability to increase the volume up to 64 GB. To take photos, an 8 MP camera is used on the back of the phone and a 5 MP camera on the front side. The heart of the smartphone is a chip cut down in speed - MediaTek with a frequency of only 1 GHz, and a graphics editor - Mali-T720. Among the advantages, it is worth noting a good battery with a capacity of 2700 mAh, which, coupled with this resolution, gives a good increase in autonomy.

In general, the smartphone is good, it has many advantages, and it also has a good price-quality ratio. The downside is the design, which clearly resembles the appearance of devices from one of the English companies.

One of the most popular on domestic market representatives of Samsung. The A3 line is in great demand due to its availability and decent characteristics. The smartphone is quite compact, although not the smallest, the display diagonal is 4.7 inches, its resolution is 1280 by 720 pixels. The device has two cameras of average quality, a rear one with a resolution of 13 megapixels and a front one with a resolution of 5 megapixels. The memory capacity is not at all impressive: only 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 ROM, fortunately the situation with the main memory can be brightened up with a memory card. The battery is quite tolerable for this size - 2300 mAh, lasts quite a long time. Performance is average, but the firmware does not slow down the speed much; 4-core processor of our own design, with a clock frequency of 1.5 GHz, which is enough for surfing the Internet, games and other applications.

Although this smartphone is neither the smallest in my rating nor the flagship of 2016, it is still an interesting option. The phone has a 4.6-inch display panel with HD resolution. Inside there was room for: an advanced 8-core Snapdragon 810 chip, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of main memory and a 2000 mAh battery. Deserves special attention attractive design, thanks to which the device can be bought as a gift for loved ones, and a 23 megapixel camera capable of taking highly detailed pictures.

Another good smartphone in my top category of ultra-budget models. Not the most reliable, but at the same time a very cheap gadget. The device has a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 854 by 480 pixels. The gadget is responsible for shooting: a main 8 MP camera and a 2 MP selfie module. “Under the hood” of the device are hidden: a little-known 4-core processor - Spreadturn, a Mali-400 video processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of ROM and a 2000 mAh battery. One of the features of this device is the ability to install 2 SIM cards at once for their alternate functioning, which the Taiwanese are actively focusing on.

Alcatel is an Anglo-French brand that is developing in the post-Soviet space and pampers Russian users with its affordable and at the same time very high-quality offers. The front part of the gadget is occupied by a 4.7-inch display panel with HD resolution. Back cover decorates the peephole of a 13 megapixel camera, which shoots and makes videos quite well. The device’s performance is driven by a 4-core Snapdragon 410 with a clock frequency of 1.2 GHz and an Adreno 306 video processor. The amount of RAM is only 1.5 GB, and the main memory is 8 GB, which is basically not enough and it’s better to buy a memory card. Overall, Idol 3 is a good smartphone, but it is more suitable for fans of this company.

My top phone ends in the budget range. Here the user expects a 4.7-inch diagonal display with HD resolution, an 8 megapixel camera and a 1 megapixel front module, but for the level of a budget smartphone it takes pretty good pictures. Modest amount of memory: only 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory, which may not be enough for all your needs. Quad-core processor with a frequency of 1.33 GHz, and a battery with a capacity of 2100 mAh. The characteristics are quite modest, but the price is appropriate.

Perhaps this is the main drawback of the device - many buyers will want more volume.

The device does not have any serious problems with data transfer. The device has an LTE module, and you can activate Wi-Fi at home. The Runbo Q5 includes LTE and a GPS module, capable of recognizing signals from American and Russian satellites. Someone will also need an NFC chip. Against this background, it seems strange that there is no fingerprint scanner - its absence is a serious drawback, because the smartphone is very expensive - about 28 thousand rubles.

On the back of the device there is a camera whose resolution is 13 megapixels. It doesn’t have enough stars in the sky, but it certainly can’t be called bad either. It is clear that for that kind of money you can find a smartphone with a better camera, often even a double one, but such a device will not have a shock-resistant case. Well, if we talk about the front camera, then it is needed only for video communication - the two-megapixel module is not designed for more.

But why does a fairly old device cost so much? The high price tag is explained by the presence of a walkie-talkie here. It allows fishermen, hunters, and workers of certain professions to communicate with each other. The power of the radio is very high, 2 W.

But even with such a case, you don’t have to be afraid of dropping your gadget on the asphalt or some other hard surface. Partly because of the presence of such a case, the device weighs 185 g. That is, it cannot be called light in any case.

Like many other Chinese smartphones, SENSEIT R500 has two SIM card slots. One of the slots is combined - it is also intended for installing memory cards. And you may well need it, because the volume of built-in storage is only 16 GB. The device also includes a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor. This is traditional budget chipset, which provides solutions to the simplest problems without any problems. It is not recommended to use this device for games - you will have to reduce the graphics level to the minimum available value. However, a rare smartphone for 10 thousand rubles. capable of something more.

Connecting to wireless networks here is carried out without any difficulties. For this, built-in Wi-Fi 802.11n and LTE modules are used. The device also has a “blue tooth”. But NFC, alas, is absent here, and therefore SENSEIT R500 is not able to replace a bank card.

Like many other mid-budget smartphones, this device has an IPS display. Its diagonal is 4.7 inches and its resolution is 720x1280 pixels. The naked eye cannot notice pixelation, which is good news. Photos taken with an 8-megapixel camera look great on this screen. Of course, if you copy them to a computer, the flaws immediately become noticeable. The front camera performs even worse, under the lens of which only a two-megapixel sensor is hidden. The lack of a fingerprint sensor may also slightly disappoint the buyer.
