ESET offers licensing programs that are based on the number and set of nodes/users protected. Several licenses have been developed: “Initial purchase”, “Renewal”, “Additional purchase”, “Renewal with expansion” and “Migration”.

"Initial purchase"– basic license for 1 or 2 years.
"Extension"– a license to renew the right to use ESET software after the initial license for that product has expired. Issued for 1 or 2 years and offers a discount of 40% compared to a new purchase.
"Additional purchase"– purchase of additional software licenses during the term of the license agreement. The cost is calculated based on the number of months remaining until the expiration of the previously purchased license. The price of additional licenses is taken from the price range corresponding to the total number of protected objects.
"Renewal with expansion"– an increase in the number of licenses for ESET software on preferential terms simultaneously with the extension of the license agreement. The price of additionally purchased licenses is calculated based on the price range in which the total number of purchased licenses (additionally purchased + extended) is located. The price of renewed licenses is calculated from the price range in which the total number of renewed licenses is located.
“Migration” is a license to migrate from a similar product from another manufacturer to ESET products. The discount on the license will be 40%.
Licenses for ESET NOD32 products are provided for 1 or 2 years. After the license expires, you can continue to use the software, however, regular updates of the anti-virus databases will stop. To receive updates, you must renew your product license.

Licensing of academic organizations and educational institutions

For medical institutions, a single 30% discount is provided on all ESET NOD32 solutions, both when purchasing and renewing licenses. The decision to provide a discount is made on the basis of a copy of the license “For carrying out medical activities” issued by the Federal Service for Supervision of Healthcare and Social Development of the Russian Federation. For academic organizations, a single 50% discount is provided on all ESET NOD32 solutions, both when purchasing and renewing licenses. Delivery options

ESET products are supplied as boxes, electronic activation key and corporate licenses. When purchasing software in the form of a key or license, the distribution kit for installing the product (media pack) must be purchased separately or downloaded from the ESET website.

Box– includes a software distribution disk and paper instructions. There is a sticker on the disc with a registration code. The boxed version is optimal for private users, as well as for organizations if the number of protected PCs does not exceed 5 PCs.
Electronic activation key– delivered by email within a few hours after payment of the order. The installation distribution (media pack) is purchased separately or downloaded from the ESET website.
Enterprise electronic license– delivered to the customer in the form of a letter containing the username and password.
