• The history of Meizu and their first products

Meizu's foundation was laid in 1998 in Zhuhai. The founder of the company and its ideological inspirer is Huang Zhang, also known as Jack Wong. From early childhood, he was fond of electronics and created the Meizu company with one goal - to bring his ideas and ideas to life. In his employees, Juan wants to see not just executive workers, but people who can share his desire for excellence and craving for perfectionism. Thanks to these qualities, Meizu overcomes new frontiers of financial success, and the company's devices are becoming more and more popular in the world.

    Start of activity. MP3 players

This Chinese manufacturer of mobile devices, and in the past of mp3 players, started with mp3 players in 2003. At first, the company's management did not think about developing their own smartphones. The first devices were Meizu X6 and Meizu E3 - cute players that did not become known in the CIS. Their functionality was standard: playing tracks in mp3 format, a voice recorder, a clock, etc. The devices were not bad, which was reflected in the level of sales.

A year later, Meizu introduces a new model of players - Meizu miniPlayer M6. The first model in the M series. It was a unique player, not like any device that came out before. Since the Chinese very often copy concepts and designs from their competitors, the release of the original M6 player in every sense was a significant event for both Meizu and most Chinese manufacturers. In addition to the external component, the player had a fairly wide functional environment.

Meizu miniPlayer M6 could not only play mp3 files and record sound, but also could play video, contained a photo gallery and understood the lossless format. Moreover, new firmware was always released for the player, so there was no talk of constantly occurring errors. Another significant advantage was the affordable price. Together, music lovers received a wonderful gift. Meizu miniPlayer M6 is highly appreciated both in China and in the world.

In 2007, the Meizu M3 model saw the light. It was a mini version of the M6. The functions are the same, but the screen size and body were smaller. In the same year, the M6sl appears on the shelves. Another copy of the M6, but with a thinner body.

    First phone - M8

Meizu's next release was in 2009. Their first smartphone Meizu M8 was sold exclusively in the Chinese market. The touchscreen phone, running its own MyMobile OS (based on Windows CE 6.0), was a huge success in China. However, the M8 was too similar in appearance to the iPhone. This partly explains the great popularity in China. Apple did not like this arrangement of affairs and demanded to stop the production of M8 models. By that time, approximately 50,000 copies had been sold.

    Further production of smartphones

    M9

Litigation with Apple delayed the release of the next model for a year. Meizu M9 came out at the end of 2010. Given the previous mistakes in terms of copying, the M9 came out more different from the American iPhone, but some similarities were still guessed. The first thing Meizu developers redesigned is the operating system. Now the model was FlymeOS. This system was based and written on Android. Inside was a Samsung Hummingbird 1 GHz processor, which is also on the Samsung Galaxy S smartphone. The RAM was 512 megabytes. Display from Sharp with a resolution of 960x640. The highlights were the speakers. They were on the sides of the case.

    MX

On January 1, 2012, the Chinese company released a smartphone that was head and shoulders above all previous releases. Meizu MX is more technically saturated. The smartphone was still running FlymeOS. The processor was changed to Samsung Exynos 4210 1400 MHz, and later was replaced by Samsung Exynos 4212 1500 MHz. The battery capacity has increased - from 1600 mAh to 1700 mAh. Half a year later, a presentation of an updated version of the MX model took place. It was attended by a quad-core Samsung Exynos 4412 processor with a frequency of 1400 MHz. The new release went on sale in two versions - with 32 and 64 GB of internal memory.

Deciding to keep up with the trends in the global market, in 2013 Meizu releases the new flagship Meizu MX3. The device received a display with a diagonal of 5.1. Sold in four versions - 16, 32, 64, 128 gigabytes of internal memory.

    MX4 Pro

At the end of 2014, the new MX4 was presented to the public. The smartphone is definitely a success. AnTuTu tester can tell for performance. Meizu MX4 Pro takes the lead in benchmarks. The smartphone scored 48 thousand points and topped the list of the most productive smartphones. This should say a lot. An eight-core processor built using ARM big.LITTLE technology is responsible for such a high quality of work. It includes 4 cores Cortex-A17 and Cortex-A7.
