    Unlocking instructions

    2. Connect your modem via USB. Typically, when you connect a device to a PC, you have a separate CDROM partition that contains the device installation program.
    3. Install the included drivers that came with your device.

    Immediately after installation, the modem was unstable. I had to plug it in and out several times for it to even connect to the 2G network. Then in the program settings I had to switch it to 4G. Then the program seemed to “get used to”; the connection to the Internet occurred simply when the computer was turned on, except that the program sometimes switched to 3 or 2G at will. But a little later, all the glitches and slowdowns returned, only, apparently, having gained strength somewhere, because simply reconnecting the modem was no longer enough, I had to reboot the computer 4 times. Updating the program, as well as reinstalling it, did nothing. I suggest a treatment: download the HUAWEI modem program from the website huawei.mobzon.ru and install it instead of MegaFon's. ALL!     If possible, ask your friends for the same modem and check how it will work for you, because you won’t be able to take the modem for a test drive in a store and return it. Sellers will fight to the death.
    Before purchasing, I warned the consultant that I was taking the modem only because there was a megaphone tower installed where it would work. Without it, it is impossible to receive a stable signal at this address, because it's 2 floors. house and it is surrounded on all sides by panel high-rises.
    The consultant looked at the map on the Megafon website and assured me that the specified address was within the zone of stable 4G+ reception.
    For several days we tried unsuccessfully to catch a signal. When we succeeded, the first thing we did was check the speed of the Internet connection. Instead of the stated 100-150 Mbit/s there were 23 inputs. and 17 ref.
    The question is, why buy a device for 2500 rubles, if it is the same, but 3G and 2G for 300-500 rubles. does it produce the same speed?
    But this was not the last disappointment.
    The signal was constantly being lost. After working for 3 minutes, the modem went out, and I had to remove and install it several times to get it to work again.
    A call to technical support helped find out what was wrong and gave me hope that this uselessness could be returned to the store as not meeting expectations.
    It turned out that the equipment from the nearest tower had been removed several months ago.
    After taking a screenshot of the test results and inspired by the news about the removed equipment, I went to the store to return the modem. But that was not the case.
    They told me that the modem is working properly, and the speed corresponds to the declared parameters, because it is within 150 Mbit/s.
    In general, I left with nothing. The gift didn't work out. The money is gone. The mood is ruined.
