• What outdoor antenna is needed for the internet. We make a Yota signal amplifier with our own hands! Making an antenna to amplify the Yota modem signal

    It all started with the fact that the signal from the existing antenna WFL 2700-24, 24dB dropped sharply. What was the cause, I still have not figured out. Maybe the pigtail loosened in the modem or the transmitting antennas at the base station were blocked due to snowfall, I don’t know. Consistently changing the components of the system, I did not manage to restore the signal to its previous level. An antenna remained under suspicion, which there was nothing to replace. Unfortunately, of the high-gain antennas in the stores, there were only models similar in design, since I didn’t know exactly what caused the signal drop, becoming the owner of 2 similar antennas that practically didn’t work at my house did not appeal to me. Taking as a basis the usual Supral 900x1000 satellite dish, a piece of plastic water pipe with a diameter of 40 mm and the existing Samsung U-200 modem, I started.

    First, in a piece of pipe, we make a hole under the modem. You can use a drill and saw. I used a Dremel with a cutter. The length of the pipe should be chosen with a margin, since it is not known exactly where the focus of our design will be.

    It should look something like this:

    Next, pour construction foam into the pipe to fix the modem. I felt sorry for him, so I first wrapped the part that would be in contact with the foam with tape. Carefully cut off the excess foam. It is advisable to close the ends with plastic caps. I did not find native 40 mm plugs in the store. But the hair dye caps fit almost perfectly.

    After the final assembly of the antenna, we direct it to the base station. It must be borne in mind that the design turns out to be very pointed, so it is easy to miss. I lost the signal when the antenna deviated from the optimal position by 3-5 degrees. After finding the position in which the signal has a maximum, we fix the antenna. Next, you need to catch the focus by moving the pipe in the mount and rotating it around the axis until you get the maximum. After completion, tighten and seal everything. I made a temporary version of the package and adhesive tape, it's painfully cold while inventing something, I'll leave it like this until spring:

    The signal from the antenna via USB is sent to the DIR-320, which has been living for the third year on a pole in an IKEA container painted inside with white paint. And already further on wi-fi to the house.

    Here's what happened:

    And what is the result? Received almost 2-fold increase in signal level compared to WFL 2700-24. With saved more than 3000 rubles. WFL 2700-24 - 4200 rub vs Supral - 800 rub + pipe 20 rub.
    Currently the speed is:

    Previously, more than 3 Mb / s did not rise. Upload used to be no more than 200 Kb/s, now 300-900 Kb/s.
    If you do not use the antenna at all, then there is no signal in my area. Absolutely not. The base station is at least 6 km away.

    What else needs to be done:

    1. It is normal to seal the modem.
    2. Cut off excess pipe. But for this it must be removed, but in the cold you don’t want to do this.
    3. Make a reflector behind the modem:

    I took as a basis the bottom of a fruit vase bought for this for 80 rubles. In general, any metal spherical or parabolic thing that you can find that isn't too curvature will do, otherwise it will be difficult to get the modem in focus. With its temporary fixing, I got a few more dB plus, but most importantly, the power of my signal increased and, as a result, the upload speed increased by about 30-40%.

    Today, the coverage area of the networks of the third and fourth generations of the mobile operator Iota occupies an impressive area. At the same time, the company's management is constantly working to increase the number of base stations in order to expand the territorial coverage of services and improve the quality of communication in the places of presence. As a result of the implemented measures, the signal improves and the speed of wireless Internet increases. Nevertheless, it is still not possible to catch it everywhere, and in some small settlements and even areas of large cities there is a signal, but very weak. Even the fact that the purchased Yota 4G modem already has a built-in amplifier is not always able to save the situation. It is in such cases that an external antenna is needed for Iota. Thanks to this device, the low signal that is caught from the nearest base is amplified, which ultimately has a positive effect on the connection speed.

    Such antennas are indispensable for residents of remote areas of settlements, you can install them in a country cottage. Such a device is especially useful in the complete absence of the possibility of using wired Internet and the poor quality of wireless.

    The role of external antennas for Iota can be performed by both factory devices and those made by hand. The advantage of the former is in their accuracy and high efficiency, but the latter allow you to save money and at the same time get a relatively good 4G connection.

    Reasons for weak signal and low speed are:

    • network congestion;
    • large remoteness of the settlement from the base station;
    • modem location;
    • the dimensions of the room and the material used to make the walls, their height and thickness;
    • the presence of interference in the signal path, such as multi-storey buildings, high-voltage pylons, forests;
    • connection to one router or modem of several devices.

    In this case, the following problems are observed:

    • the signal is often lost;
    • speed jumps all the time.

    If all this is familiar, then it makes sense to think about buying equipment to amplify the received signal or making it yourself. Such a device is a familiar antenna.

    In some forums, there is an opinion that if the signal quality in the LTE standard is unsatisfactory (namely, this Internet format is supported by Iota), it is recommended to consider switching to a WiMAX channel. Such a position is illogical. Both standards belong to the fourth generation. However, LTE was invented a few years later, due to which a number of shortcomings inherent in its predecessor were taken into account and corrected. Improvements have affected such characteristics as multiple access, frequency resource scheduling, power parameters, adaptability, delays, and so on.

    Types of antennas and the benefits of using them

    The Yota operator guarantees users the availability of high-speed 4G Internet. It is the provision of this service that is the general mission of the company. As a technical support, the company offers subscribers 4G modems, routers and antennas for Yota.

    Each type of antenna has characteristic properties and has a number of advantages in the process of use. Below is a general classification of industrial, that is, produced in streaming mode, antennas.

    1. Panel MIMO (that is, containing two amplifiers in one housing) 3G / 4G directional antenna. The most popular in this category are various models of Delta Station 3G/4G broadband dual polarization antenna. Equipped with the function of automatically switching to a 3G signal in a situation where there is no 4G. Some modifications are designed to work in two frequency ranges.
    2. Parabolic. Such models provide maximum gain and are ideal for use at considerable distances from the base, as well as in places where there is no signal at all. The only drawback of parabolic antennas is their high price.
    3. Circular omnidirectional. The main advantage of such products is their mobility. They are easy to install, have a magnetic base, you can install them anywhere convenient, even in the car. The device gives a small gain power, therefore they are used mainly in order to achieve the stability of the Internet signal.
    4. Indoor antenna. Amplifies the signal when connected to a receiving device via a USB cable.
    5. Antennas with built-in modem or Yota router. These models can be purchased if the device has not already been purchased separately. They are not suitable for amplifying the signal of an existing modem or router.

    If you haven't bought your Internet access equipment yet, but are only considering options, then purchasing a universal device is the ideal solution.

    Antennas HiTE PRO for Yota

    These 4G antennas have a built-in modem and support signal reception from all mobile operators. To work, you must insert the correct SIM card into the device. The HiTE PRO antenna for Yota replaces the radio frequency amplification kit.

    Such systems are considered to be the most efficient, since the modem is already built into the antenna, and there is no signal loss on adapters and cables. Such an antenna for Yota is capable of increasing the speed of traffic exchange on the Internet by ten times, while you can install and configure it yourself, without contacting a specialist. If a separate modem is already available, the need for it disappears.

    Using a satellite dish

    To amplify and stabilize the Internet signal, you can use a TV satellite dish. It is desirable to place it in a plastic container and attach it to the converter. The device is connected to the computer via a USB cable. Such a solution is especially effective for use in the region, in villages, in the suburbs and other settlements remote from the towers.

    The best gain is given by a parabolic antenna with a mesh reflector, however, it is quite difficult to find such antennas for sale, since they were no longer produced due to outdated standards.

    The amplification efficiency may vary depending on the size of the dish. For a high-quality connection at a distance of up to ten kilometers from the tower, a plate with a diameter of one meter is enough.

    How to connect an external antenna to a Yota modem

    An external antenna for amplifying 4G Internet from Yota is easy to install and configure. It is important to adhere to the following rules:

    • direct the antenna lower than when tuning to a television satellite;
    • track the quality of the connection using the Yota computer program;
    • it is necessary to fix the antenna in the direction of the point of best signal reception;
    • install the modem so that the USB port is on the opposite end from the antenna;
    • in the event of a permanent signal interruption, the structure must be raised higher.

    It is impossible to use the antenna for receiving a TV signal and amplifying the Internet at the same time.

    Do-it-yourself Yota signal amplification

    The external antennas for the modem aimed at amplifying the LTE signal from Yota are quite expensive, and not everyone can afford the purchase of such a device. Therefore, the antenna for Yota can be made by hand.

    First of all, it is necessary to determine the location of the nearest base station, as well as the presence or absence of objects on the way that can become an obstacle to the signal. The presence of interference in the line of sight can turn the idea of \u200b\u200binstalling an amplifier into a waste of time and money. Intensive loading within the boundaries of the settlement reduces the efficiency of the installed antenna several times. Thus, signal amplification at a distance of several hundred meters in a densely populated area of a large city can be comparable to the effect observed at a distance of ten kilometers from the tower for a small village.

    If you have problems finding the location of the nearest tower, you can contact the provider's service department. The consultants will orient you according to the coordinates of the base station, as well as tell you how to properly install the external antenna. The same information is available on the provider's official forum and numerous third-party specialized resources.

    Required material and tools

    To design a signal booster for LTE Internet, you will need the following set of tools:

    • soldering iron;
    • Screwdriver Set;
    • glue gun;
    • pliers;
    • pliers.

    As for the necessary materials, the amplifier is made from improvised means. You will need:

    • pot;
    • aluminum can;
    • antenna cable;
    • cardboard, foil;
    • copper wire;
    • plastic tube;
    • plastic bag.

    If this is a remote structure and will be mounted on the street, then you need to take care of its protection from adverse weather effects.

    Antenna for Eta using aluminum can

    The amplifier for Eta can be very simply made from an aluminum can. True, it will be completely useless in conditions of too weak a signal, but it is an excellent option for stabilizing the stability of the connection.

    Such a self-made indoor antenna for Yota is not suitable for outdoor installation.

    To make such a design, it is necessary to cut a hole in the side of the beverage can according to the shape and size of the modem. The distance from the center of the recess to the bottom of the vessel is on average 38–40 mm. The exact figure can be calculated using a special calculator, which is easily found in a search engine.

    The modem is pushed into the hole and attached with a glue gun.

    Signal reception from the transmitting center to the amplifier should be carried out with a minimum amount of interference.

    When setting up the signal, it is necessary to change the depth of the device in the bank and turn the improvised antenna towards the tower in order to achieve the optimal result. You can check the results by measuring speed and ping on the official Yota website or special resources like speedtest.net.

    The design is connected to a computer or router using a USB cable extension.

    Pseudosatellite

    The design of the pseudo-satellite is very similar to the can structure, but its advantage is in a larger area of the reflective surface, in addition, it is used both as an indoor and outdoor one. A cardboard box covered with foil, a stainless pan, an aluminum bowl or a metal grate are used as a reflector.

    The modem is mounted inside the 4G/LTE signal amplifier using screws that are inserted into the drilled holes.

    The modem is placed perpendicular to the ground and parallel to the side parts of the reflector.

    If the structure is mounted outdoors, then the modem should be protected with polyethylene or a plastic tube.

    A correctly directed pseudo-satellite is quite effective and significantly enhances the 4G signal.

    Reliable, and at the same time very easy to manufacture, the Kharchenko antenna. In fact, it is a thick copper wire bent in a figure-eight. Such a blank is placed on top of a reflector with a metallized surface. It is very important in the manufacture to clearly maintain the dimensions of the eight and set the broadcast frequency in order to reduce possible interference to a minimum. The cable is connected to the modem through the connector. In the absence of such, it is necessary to disassemble the modem and solder the cable to the board.

    Using a Signal Reflector

    To amplify the signal, you can use special devices - reflectors. To connect such devices, you must:

    • insert a modem into the USB connector that is not designed to connect an external antenna;
    • Connect the USB cable to your laptop or computer.

    The principle of operation of the reflector is that the modem installed in the focus of the device receives the reflected signals.

    It cannot be said that the amplification effect will be very significant, but the signal will stabilize and become a little more powerful.

    You can purchase a ready-made reflective device, or you can make an impromptu one, for example, from a tin can, foil or colander.

    Disassemble the Yota modem and solder the cables from the external antenna to the connectors on the board

    Yota modems have special technological connectors. They are needed for testing. If the modem is disassembled and the external antenna is soldered to the modem board, then such a solution will give a significant signal amplification.

    However, this method of amplification also has a number of disadvantages:

    • high probability of physical damage to the modem;
    • requires the purchase of a cable and adapters;
    • there are significant signal losses on intermediate elements (wires, connectors, connectors).

    This idea of amplifying the signal is a workable one, but it is quite risky and requires good soldering skills.

    If there is no desire to disassemble the modem and connect pigtails, you can purchase ready-made devices that work from the box. The provider offers models for urban conditions, for example, YotaStation M14. But in a village, in a country house or in a private house, it is better to install YotaGrid 24.

    Wireless technology is far from perfect, so many users are faced with a weak radio signal, causing the Internet speed to drop or disappear altogether. Therefore, many users want to know how to amplify the Yota signal. Of course, you can buy special equipment to amplify the signal, but this pleasure is very expensive. Therefore, you can try to amplify the Yota signal with your own hands by assembling a special antenna. It's easy to do.

    How to amplify Yota signal?

    Yota is one of the operators connecting users to the wireless Internet. Among the inhabitants of the Russian Federation, this provider is popular, but many of its customers may experience inconvenience due to the imperfection of the provider's equipment. Problems arise even in areas where the signal must be clear due to coverage. Therefore, manufacturers are also looking for a way, as well as producing special amplifiers to improve the signal. However, their price may be higher than the modem itself. For example, a proprietary Wimax amplifier costs around 3.0-3.5 thousand rubles. And this despite the fact that the cost of the modem itself is below three thousand rubles. You have to pay twice for access to the Web.

    But this is the easiest way to suggest how to amplify the Yota signal, so many users resort to it. But we will go the other way and will not overpay big money.

    It is not always appropriate to give money for a connection, and then pay for signal amplification equipment. So, craftsmen came up with the idea of doing it themselves. Users claim that they amplify the signal by 7 times, which is why the access speed increases noticeably. You can use these antennas not only with the Yota operator, but also with any other.

    Types of antennas for the Yota modem

    There are many types of antennas that are made from different materials. If you highlight the main and simple types, then you must definitely name the following: canned (made from an ordinary metal can), omnidirectional (look like a pencil), pseudo-satellites (like satellite dishes, such antennas have a large reflective area).

    The simplest is a can antenna, to create which we need a can, N-socket, copper wire and a couple of screws. If someone is trying to find out on the forums how to amplify the Yota signal, then he will first of all be advised to make a can antenna.

    It all looks simple, but calculations are needed to create a device. How to make such an antenna, we will write below.

    We will not write about an omnidirectional antenna, since its manufacture will require knowledge that you most likely do not have. But homemade pseudo-satellites are often used. Here, kitchen utensils (a saucepan, for example), foil and improvised household items (for example, an umbrella or a metal grill) are used as a reflector.

    Search for the nearest BS

    Knowing how Yota is is not enough. First of all, you need to understand where the nearest BS is located. Even if your house is listed with the operator in the coverage area, there may not be a signal. Therefore, we are looking for the direction of the nearest BS and determine how difficult the visibility is. In other words, we need to understand whether it is possible to connect at all with or without an amplifier.

    The fact is that in the city the BS can guarantee a good quality of communication, being at a distance of 200-300 meters from the house. And in the village, the distance can be at least 20 km, and the quality of communication will be excellent. Network congestion plays an important role, and in poorly populated areas it is always low.

    Before amplifying the Yota signal, we determine where the BS is located. We call the operator (support service) and ask for help installing the antenna correctly. The provider's forum can also help to do this. You just need to provide your address. There are even special websites where you can get this information. And if none of the methods helps, just try to find what interests you on the net.

    Setting up a homemade antenna

    Making an antenna is far from everything. It is important to set it up correctly. And here the most important role is played by the correct direction of the amplifier, taking into account the vertical and horizontal deviation. It is also worth remembering that the signal tends to bounce off surfaces, so sometimes it can be caught from an unexpected direction. There is no need to worry if you cannot immediately catch a strong signal. You may have to walk around with a laptop and an antenna in search of it. If you live in a private house, then you should climb onto the roof of the house.

    Visually, the signal strength is determined in a special program from Yota. You will have it after buying a modem. On average, setting up and searching for a signal will take you an hour. Approximately the same amount will have to be spent on the manufacture of the antenna itself.

    Making an antenna to amplify the Yota modem signal

    It is assumed that you have the calculations. They will not be shown here, as this is a completely different profile.

    We will need: a high tin can (for example, from pineapples) made of tin, an ordinary N-nest, which is also called “mother”. You also need a copper wire with a sectional diameter of 2 mm and a few screws.

    So, we take a jar with a diameter of about 8-10 cm and a height of about 13-14 cm. We leave the upper part, you do not need to cut it off. Let there be a plastic cover. Now we fasten our N-connector to the jar somewhere in the center of the wall and solder a piece of copper wire (about 3.5 cm long) to it, which will act as a waveguide. If there is a plastic lid to the jar, then use it - close the jar. If not, then it is desirable to use something else (for example, a film). This will protect the structure from the effects of the external environment. But first, try your creation without a lid.

    If you did everything right (and made the correct calculations beforehand), then only then can you close the jar with a lid. If the signal becomes worse after this, then use a different cover or do not use it at all.

    Warning

    Before you make an antenna yourself and try to amplify the Yota signal, you should make sure that you really need it, and you cannot just buy an amplifier. With incorrect calculations, there is a small chance of simply ruining your modem. As a result, you will be at a loss.

    If you do not want to take risks, then just buy a ready-made signal amplification kit. Judging by user reviews, the signal is amplified significantly and the download speed is increased to the one declared by the provider.

    Conclusion

    Now you know how to amplify the Yota signal, and you can try to do it yourself. You don't have to spend a lot of money on equipment, although, admittedly, it usually helps a lot. If you are a little familiar with radio technology, then you can easily cope with this task. As a last resort, if you have a radio electronics repair shop in your city, ask there how to amplify the signal of the Yota modem and offer to help you. An experienced master will cope with this task and will not refuse a part-time job. In any case, it will cost less than buying a new amplifier or antenna.

    Externalyota antenna - a simple solution to a big problem

    The Yota amplifier, as you might guess from the name, is nothing more than an external (installed outside the case) transceiver module, made in the form of an outdoor or indoor antenna, compatible with modems and routers manufactured under the Yota brand. It takes over the functions of their regular low-power antennas, increasing the integrity and data transfer rate.

    Wireless Internet from Yota is such a thing ... often it does not reach the speeds promised by the operator. It is not surprising that Yota amplifiers are in such great demand among the population, which not only remains unchanged over the years - it is steadily increasing. Indeed, for many, amplifying the Yota signal has become a real “headache” - a problem that seems insoluble.

    However, exactly until they visit the electronic store site, where you can always buy an antenna for Yota, and not just buy it, but do it at the best price in town! The solution of a long-term problem with the Internet, as practice shows, will certainly not take you not only a lot of time, but also money. This problem turned out to be not so serious, if you figure it out ...

    How not to make a mistake with the choice of antennaYota

    However, you should not assume that absolutely any antenna for Yota, purchased by you on the occasion from the metro, will be able to resolve it. Such purchases rarely turn out to be successful, and therefore there is no need to place high hopes on them.

    What do we mean by "good"? This is such a signal amplifier for Yota, which will be equally effective both within the city, where neighboring buildings cover the radiation of base stations, and beyond, where base stations are very remote. Problems with the use of wireless Internet arise everywhere, but you no longer need to worry about them - they do not concern you now!

    By giving preference to the electronic store site, you are guaranteed to receive an effective Yota signal amplifier, since there are simply no others in our assortment. All that remains for you to do is to decide on the technical characteristics, which directly depend on the technical characteristics of the Yota device you are using (modem or router).

    Objective signs of a good antenna for Uota

    Last but not least are the materials from which our amplifiers for Yota are made. An external antenna, even if it is used indoors, and especially if it is used outdoors, must be made of high-quality weather-resistant, but at the same time not interfering materials. Otherwise, the yota amplifier will not only not provide the proper efficiency, but it will also not work for a long time.

    Distinctive features of antennas forYotaLTE

    External antennas designed to amplify the Yota LTE (Yota 4G) signal have become widely demanded relatively recently. The fourth-generation wireless networks that came to the major cities of Russia did not do this to the full extent, which is why many subscribers were not able to enjoy the promised traffic and connection stability.

    By its design and principle of operation, the antenna for Yota LTE does not differ in any way from antennas intended for use in networks of previous generations. The difference lies in the data transmission standards it supports, which are more demanding on both the receiving and emitting capabilities of the antenna, as well as in the technologies and devices developed for them.

    However, to the same extent as the Yota external antenna, this applies to cable products and connectors used to connect it to modems and routers of the same name. An LTE amplifier for Yota, if it was connected using a low-quality cable and connectors, can lose up to 15% of received and transmitted signals, thereby negating all the advantages of its use ...

    About the dangers of low prices for antennasYota 4G

    But let's return directly to the Yota LTE signal amplifier. All of them are developed taking into account the latest achievements in the field of wireless communication and therefore do not cause any complaints. They are developed by many companies from the USA, China and some other countries, because, according to international experts, LTE is the future, and its commercial use is a great benefit!

    The situation is spoiled by small manufacturers who, wanting to make their products as cheap as possible (including Yota LTE antennas), use materials that are completely unsuitable for this, capable of turning any, even the most ingenious project, into a “non-viable freak”. There are thousands of examples of this. The lion's share is made up of Chinese-made antennas designed for use in conjunction with USB modems.

    External antennas for Yota (to amplify the signal of the mentioned operator) are very widely represented in Russia. Buying a Yota 4G amplifier today is not a problem, it is different - in his choice! The latter is rather complicated by the innumerable variety of brands, among which there are very few trustworthy ones. Often the buyer has to choose between bad and ... bad, which in our opinion is unacceptable.

    Modem amplifierYota at a bargain price

    Fortunately, you are on the site of an electronic store, a site whose customers who decide to purchase one or another device for Yota (signal amplifier, for example) do not encounter such problems. The Yota LTE external antenna purchased here will surely not let you down, providing ideal data reception and transmission, regardless of the distance from the base station.

    However, this is not the only strength of our antennas for amplifying the 4G Yota signal - their favorable price also excites many, attracting more and more new customers to the site. It is profitable, but not underestimated; This, let me tell you, is not the same thing! We do not deal with cheap antennas produced by anyone, and we do not advise you!

    The same antennas for amplifying Yota LTE, which you can see in the catalog of this site, are sold at the best prices in Moscow, which we rightly call profitable! These antennas are not here by chance - they are made of high-quality metal alloys and advanced polymers, with the strictest compliance with the requirements of the LTE standard and related global standards.

    Amplifying the modem signalYota by technologyMIMO

    Antennas that support Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) technology, which have recently appeared in the line of external devices for Yota, deserve a separate word. MIMO antennas are distinguished by a more complete use of the bandwidth provided by the LTE standard, which became possible due to the division of the transceiver into two parts - the receiving and transmitting.

    A MIMO-compliant internet signal booster for Yota thus consists of not one, but two antennas, which must be positioned so that they do not interfere with each other, creating frequency correlations. Similar antennas for the Yota LTE modem provide at least twice the data transfer rate, and this is without any changes at the standards level.

    To date, the MIMO signal amplifier for the Yota modem is the best solution to problems when using radio frequency communication channels of the LTE standard. Its disadvantage, and even then a small one, is only the need to install two antennas instead of one, but it is also successfully eliminated thanks to the use of frequency selectivity technology (by connecting these antennas in one housing).

    Your choice - antenna and modem (router) in one set

    You can purchase an antenna for a 4G Yota modem, as well as an antenna for another popular yota device - a router, from us not only separately from the modem (router) itself, but also with it. After all, the site's electronic store sells not only a variety of antennas, but also other devices designed to work in the Yota wireless network, as well as accessories for them.

    Buying a yota modem with an antenna is, without a doubt, the right decision. One way or another, you will have to purchase an antenna - not now, then later, spending a certain amount of time selecting it for the characteristics of the modem, which is not at all as simple as it might seem at first. It is better to do this in advance by purchasing a Yota operator modem with an antenna included! So, by the way, not only more convenient, but also cheaper.

    Please note that we also sell antennas with a built-in Yota modem. Such antennas are mainly indoor (intended for operation in rooms with normal humidity and temperature); they are optimal for use with laptops and tablet computers, at home, at work, outside the city, on the road - there are no restrictions!

    Sale of antennas for the modemYota and more

    We are engaged not only in the sale, but also in the installation of Yota antennas. This service is one of our most demanded: it was used by more than 80% of those who bought these same antennas from us at one time. Considering how well the experts of the electronic store site understand Yota devices, installing antennas does not seem like such a difficult task for them.

    Here it is necessary to clarify that they are far from always compatible with each other - the Yota modem and an external antenna. Many modems of this brand, as well as many of its own routers, do not have connectors for connecting such antennas at all, which pushes their owners to experiment with a soldering iron. What can all this turn into? In addition to losing the warranty on the device, nothing ...

    You can not only purchase modems and routers from us, but also modify them by adding the ability to connect external Yota antennas. Buying a signal amplifier and not being able to connect it to a modem is, of course, unpleasant, but not enough to spoil your mood. Just contact us and we will fix this annoying modem manufacturer's mistake.

    In this article, we will tell you how to connect an external antenna to a Yota modem.

    Navigation

    Today on sale there is a special Yota LTE modem with connectors for connecting an external antenna. As a rule, there are no more than two of them, so that you can connect an antenna with two or one input.
