• Not supported on this device. Plugin is not supported by Android

    Some developers limit the compatibility of their apps by specifying which models it works on, in which countries, with which carrier and versions of Android. IN Google Market such an application is shown as incompatible, although most often this incompatibility is contrived and it can still be installed.

    First way. With an APK file

    In some cases, the installation of the application is prevented by the verification of the characteristics of the device by the store Apps Play Market. So, for example, it happened with Tinkov's mobile wallet released this Sunday - it was not installed from the market on smartphones with FullHD screens, and the APK file was installed without problems.

    You can search the APK file on the Internet or ask those who have successfully installed the application you need. These files are stored in the phone's memory in data folder/app. You can get them from there on a device with root access using a file manager. To install such an application, go to the security settings, allow installation of applications from unknown sources, then copy the APK file to the device and run it.

    The second way. By using market applications helper

    This app is not found on the Google Store, it is available on the developer's website and only works on rooted devices. The application changes the system identifier so that instead of a less common device, the store sees a popular one that is most likely supported.

    2. Open Market Helper, select device type (tablet, phone), manufacturer and model, country, operator cellular communication.

    3. Click "Activate", wait for the new settings to be applied. You don't need to reboot your device.

    5. Try installing apps that were incompatible. To return the device to initial state, click "Restore" in the list available devices, and then "Activate" or just reboot it (Wi-Fi or data transfer must be turned on).

    The third way. A bit hacky

    2. Go to the "System" folder and find the "build.prop" file. Keep a backup of it in a safe place.

    I think everyone had such a case when you looked at some kind of application on Google Play, but the developer considered that the application would not work on your device or in your country.

    Often you see messages like "Not available in your country", "Not supported on your device".

    How to download an application that is not supported in your country?

    If the app is not available in your country, a VPN will help. Here is the easiest and fastest VPN client:

    Download and install it. Initially, the user has access to 500 MB of traffic, to get 1 GB, you need to register.

    To start connecting, you need to allow this application to monitor traffic:

    Two notifications should be displayed in the curtain: a system notification (with the key and VPN server ID) and from Phantom VPN with available traffic.

    Then we go to the settings of the "Accounts" section, and register with Google again in order to new account was registered to the country where the server is located. We go to Google Play store, we agree with everything, and download the application that we wanted!

    How to download an application that is not supported on the device?

    If the application developer thinks that his creation will not work properly on your device, then there is still a way to download it.
    You will need an application.

    We need rights!

    For example, you have a tablet, but the application is only for phones. Open the application, select any phone model that Google Play likes, for example Samsung Galaxy S3. Open the Google Play Store and download the app!

    How to download an application that is "not friendly" with a telecom operator?

    If your smartphone is connected to cellular networks, then Google may use the information of the operator to determine your country. Application

    The smartphone does not support the application you want to download from the Google Play Store? This happened before, but isolated complaints about the problem merged into a chorus of dissatisfied voices when a new game from the Asphalt series, Asphalt Xtreme, appeared and instantly soared to the peak of popularity. Owners were especially disappointed Xiaomi smartphones Redmi 3S getting "Not supported on your device" message in bulk. Today we will teach you how to bypass this limitation.

    If you want to download a big new game or connect to a new streaming service, but the app or service isn't compatible with your device or isn't available in your country, that's no reason to give up. The good thing about our favorite operating system is that on Android devices there is always a way to get what you want. So we'll show you how to install incompatible applications on Android using simple manipulations.

    To install an application that is not compatible with your device, you will need the Market Helper program. Suppose you have superuser rights to your device. Then all you have to do is go to your security settings and then download Market Helper.

    1. Launch Market Helper.

    2. Select a compatible device:

    You will see four drop-down menus: device type, device model, location (country), and media. They will be automatically filled in according to your device specifications. You can change this information by selecting the appropriate boxes for a different device or model that is compatible with the app you want to download. So, if you want to download an application on your smartphone that is designed only for tablet computers, you can select the tablet model from the drop-down menus and register its data on the smartphone as a “new” device. It is clear that the choice of models will not be huge, but what is offered from the desired category of devices is quite enough to achieve the goal.

    So, it is necessary:

    • Select device type;
    • Select device model;
    • Select region;
    • Select media (if necessary).

    3. Press " Activate" at the bottom of the screen and agree to the superuser prompt when it pops up. You may also have to agree to certain app permissions regarding access to information, depending on android versions that your device is running.

    4. You will see the message " Activated successfully" indicating the selected device model and operator, as well as a suggestion to go to the device manager and wait until the data changes to the ones you need. As soon as this happens, you can safely launch the Play Store and download the application you are interested in.

    Notes:

    • If you are having problems with work Play Market, try clearing the cache or just download the apk file desired application, spending a little time looking for it in Chrome or borrowing it from other users.
    • To install an app that is not available in your country of residence, try following the steps below.

    Have you ever seen a phrase similar to the one in the title? "Where?" - you ask? We are, of course, talking about Google Play. It is possible that you were not lucky enough to meet her, or rather, you were lucky not to meet her (although, who knows what happiness is?). But, even if you have not seen it, this does not mean at all that the problems associated with this phrase have bypassed you. It's like that gopher: you don't see him, but he's there. So what lies behind these words, and why you may or may not see it.

    If you start very far away (what a bore I am!), Then you can delve into the wilds of compatibility between different versions of Android, hardware platforms, different form factors, pixel densities, and so on and so forth. All this, of course, is correct and true - if the program is not designed to work in some conditions, then it is not designed. It's in theory. In practice, as usual, the theory fails ... in certain situations. I'll tell my story.

    For a long time I was happy, I'm not afraid of this word, the owner samsung tablet Galaxy Tab 7.0 plus. Samsung products are the mainstream, all manufacturers of not only hardware, but also software, are equal to it. Therefore, I practically did not encounter compatibility problems. No, of course, the device is old and many new features of programs designed for Android KitKat versions were not available, but ... The programs themselves, after all, worked, albeit with reduced capabilities, but they worked.

    But here I wanted something new, however, as usual, a crisis came and priorities shifted. I wanted something new anyway - this does not depend on the crisis, but I wanted something cheaper, and this is a direct consequence of the crisis. And, oddly enough, something like that was found. As a result, for the second month now I am, again, happy owner asus tablet MemoPad 7 ME572CL.

    However, along with the new device, new operating system, and new features, as usual, new problems appeared. At the same time, in many cases, the word "new" can be safely put in quotation marks - this is for me, the former owner of a device running Android 4.1.2, they are new, the rest of the world no longer remembers about them, or, for sure, does not counts as new. It is enough to remember about. Nevertheless, for the time being, I did not experience problems with the compatibility of software and hardware, although I understood that, in the case of the Asus tablet, not everything is so simple. He still has iron. One quad-core processor from Intel with support for 64-bit operations is worth something. Also, it was necessary, for example, to resolve issues related to. But that's not all.

    It so happened that, almost simultaneously with the tablet from Asus, I got, not without the help of Santa Claus, also Asus phone Zenfone 5. Almost all these two months the phone was used only for its intended purpose and the software on it did not change - what was installed on it by the manufacturer was used, and even then, not very actively. The main assistant, as before, was a seven-inch tablet.

    I no longer remember why, but at some point in time, I suddenly installed a bunch of programs from Yandex on my phone. Ah... I remembered! At first, the tablet was discharged, but it was necessary to make payments. Then, on a trip, I had to look at the route, and it was not convenient to take the tablet out of the bag. Then, it was necessary to call Yandex.Taxi when returning from the anniversary of a friend, and using a tablet, situationally, was not handy. In general, having thought a little, I decided that, for convenience, the phone should also be equipped with the necessary software, which I did - I installed several programs from Yandex and not only. At the same time, the role of the tablet has not changed - anyway, it remained and remains the main assistant.

    And the day before yesterday, I was sitting, looking through the news and stumbled upon a note that Yandex released new program, which allows you to get information on parking, pay for parking, if necessary, with Yandex.Money, or from a card linked to Yandex.Wallet, as well as from a mobile phone account or a special parking account. Announced even the possibility of laying the route, taking into account the location and workload of nearby parking lots to the destination.

    News on the RBC website

    All these possibilities, in theory, looked quite attractive, and I thought, why not try using this program instead of the Moscow Parking program from the Department of Automation of the Moscow Government? In general, I decided to install this program, since the link to Google Play market was presented in the article.

    I turn, so I follow the link, a new browser tab opens, there is a description of the program, reviews, everything. And such a little postscript, they say, the program is not compatible with all your devices. I open the list of devices, and there, in fact, there are a couple for which the program cannot be downloaded. And among these rejected devices is my new tablet.

    Hello, we have arrived! What the Bolsheviks have been talking about for so long has happened - it’s impossible to install a program on my brand new Asus tablet due to the features of either the program or the tablet itself. In general, I did not grieve for a long time, especially since my new phone was listed as a supported device - and I installed the program on the phone.

    Here I will make a small digression. It is from the category of "amazing - nearby", "live a century - a century learn" and so on. This is how people install apps on Android devices? I don't know about you, I did it all the time on the device itself: either via Google program Play Market, or by downloading the apk file and running it to install (for this, the option " unknown sources"in the security settings of the device). And, to be honest, I did not even think about whether there were other installation methods. As it turned out, they do.

    You can install it on the device remotely, directly from the browser, on any computer, the main thing is that the device is turned on and it has access to the Internet, and not in principle, but here and now. Under these conditions, to remotely install the program you like, it is enough to click the Install button on the program page in the Market (I remind you, in the browser on your computer) and select desired device from your device list. After that, the program will be downloaded and installed on the device. It was in this way, for the sake of experiment, that I installed the Yandex.Parking program on my phone.

    But let's continue. I installed the program on my phone and tried to forget about this unpleasant incident with the tablet. I think it will take a little time and the programmers will do desired changes, after which the tablet will go to the list of supported devices. We just have to wait a little. But life is cruel, or, as the younger generation says now, life is pain. In the evening of the same day, I was overtaken by a second blow.

    Among the programs installed on the phone, there is a very important one - "Mobile Bank VTB24". And in the evening, a notification comes to the phone about the availability of updates for several programs, including the Mobile Bank program. Updated, everything is fine, I take out the tablet, there is also a notification about the availability of updates, but there is no "Mobile Bank" in the list of updated programs.

    “It doesn’t matter,” I thought. “Probably, it’s just that some meta-information on the Google Play Market didn’t have time to update.” This has sometimes happened before. In such cases, it was enough to wait and, after a while, a new notification about updates came, the list of which also included the previously missed program. And it was possible not to wait, but to update in manual mode- for this you need to find in the Market desired program and click the "Update" button. I decided not to wait and update manually.

    Now I understand why I was impatient - most likely, subconsciously, I was afraid that the new version of the VTB24 Mobile Bank program had become incompatible with the tablet. But the moment I just ran on Tablet Play Market, dialed in search line the name of the program and saw just such a picture.

    The verdict is completely clear - the new version of the program will not work on my tablet. And then I got angry. I use this program quite actively, the new version promised significant improvements, but here - such an ambush! And I know very well that in 99℅ cases there are no real obstacles so that the program can still be used on the device on which the Market does not allow this program to be installed. Why? Everything is simple! Well, let's think logically.

    The program works on another device of the same manufacturer, on the same version of the operating system. Yes, there is a different processor, different graphics, maybe not, of course, something else is probably different. But, a priori, this program does not use, or at least should not use, any very specific features of the device - this is not some kind of toy, optimized to the utmost to squeeze everything that it is capable of out of the device. And it's not some platform-specific program, such as NFC capabilities. regular program, without specific requirements.

    Most likely, the device was not included in the list of supported devices for some unimportant reason, for example, due to screen parameters. No, of course, screen parameters are important, but this is not the most a big problem. The maximum that can usually happen in this case is not quite correct display of some interface elements, and even then, not always. In addition, in my practice there were already examples of how the program worked remarkably on a device that the Market marked as unsupported - Yandex.Shell. Therefore, I decided that I would install "Mobile Bank" on the tablet, period.

    No sooner said than done. But, to achieve the goal, it is necessary to solve some problems. Question number one - where can I get the apk of the application I'm interested in? There may be several answers. You can, for example, use a special free service that provides download links to applications from the Market. To do this, you need to find the application of interest on the Market, copy the contents address bar browser and feed it to the service. The service, in response, will issue a download address apk apps. Or you can just download the program, for example, from the same w3bsit3-dns.com. If you have a rooted device on which the application is already installed, you can simply copy the desired apk file. And it's far from complete list methods. There are others, one of which I used.

    Well, why didn’t I use one of the listed methods, but preferred the other? Everything is simple. Firstly, I don't really like installing programs not from the Market, especially such as mobile banking. Well, who can guarantee me that free service will it give a link to the original application hosted in the Market? That's why I don't really like to download application programs and from third party resources. No, of course, I really respect w3bsit3-dns.com, but still. In addition, in the case of VTB24 Mobile Bank, version 4.2.8 was posted on w3bsit3-dns.com at the time of writing, while the official fresh version has the number 5.0.2. Ruth, I also do not like to put, if possible, I try to do without it. You can call me paranoid, but I do not like to receive software from intermediaries. Although, the Play Market, of course, is also, in its own way, an intermediary, but it seems to be an authorized intermediary

    So, based on all of the above, the answer to the first question is the following - apk must be taken from the device on which installation from the Market is allowed, and, of course, has already been done.

    Then question number two arises: with what help can we get the apk we need? As I said, decisions, such as installing root, do not suit me. Is it possible to check this somehow? alternative way? Fortunately, yes. There is a whole class of programs that allows you to make backup copies of the programs installed on the device. And on devices from Asus manufacturer he installs one of these programs - Asus Backup. It is with its help that you can make a backup copy of the application (along with data) on the device where the program can be (or already) successfully installed.

    In addition, the existence of the Asus Backup program gives an answer to one more question - how to install the program on a device on which installation from the Market is prohibited. After all, Asus Backup, like almost any other backup program, allows you not only to save a backup copy of information, but also to restore it.

    So what do we have? There are answers to the following questions: where to get the apk file, how to get it and how to try to install it on another device. It remains only to solve the question of how to transfer the apk file from one device to another. But it’s hard to call this a question, as there are so many obvious answers that can be offered. In general, in order not to take too much time, here is a description of the steps that I did.

    Making backups on the phone mobile bank and parking lots - why not transfer this program at the same time, since it also cannot be installed from the Market due to incompatibility.

    The Asus Backup program was also written by people who like to play it safe, hence, apparently, the request to set a password. After various confirmation windows, warnings, etc. and so on. the program creates a subdirectory on the external memory card in the ASUSBackup directory with the name you specified when creating the backup - this question is asked during the preparation of the backup. I left the default name: backup_date_time, where the date and time are replaced with the current date and time.

    Then you need to transfer the created subdirectory from the phone to the tablet. I decided to use this Google Drive. But you can use some other way - transfer via bluetooth, for example. The file manager from Asus can, by the way, work not only with cloud services, but also with the local network, so you can not take out information outside the home network.

    After downloading the backup catalog to Google Drive, you can put your phone aside and finally switch to your tablet. Using the same Asus file manager, we download the directory with the backup to the tablet. I, for the sake of order, uploaded it to the ASUSBackup subdirectory on the external SD card, but this is not at all necessary. When asus software Backup works in recovery mode, it apparently scans for previously made backups not only the directory into which it uploads backups, but also other directories, maybe even the entire file system.

    Then the matter is small: you need to select the desired backup copy, enter correct password, and choose which programs to restore - in my case, these were both programs: mobile banking and parking. All. It remains to wait a bit and voila - the programs are restored, moreover, along with the data. For example, in parking lots, I entered a car number and indicated a Yandex account - everything was transferred. And yes, the programs, as I expected, worked as if nothing had happened, as if there was no such warning about an unsupported device.

    It's great that my assumption that programs should work on a tablet was confirmed. I have already made payments according to previously saved templates in the mobile bank. True, I haven’t used the parking lots yet, but, for the sake of order, I launched and looked at the parking lots next to work.

    However, of course, this crutch cannot completely replace the entire service offered by the Google Play Market infrastructure. So, for example, the very next day there was an update of the mobile bank. On the phone, as expected, a corresponding notification appeared and I updated the program. On the tablet, for obvious reasons, no notification was received, and the new version, in the same way, had to be transferred from phone to tablet by creating and restoring backup. So, I'll still wait until both programs become officially compatible with my tablet.

    That, perhaps, is all. Yes, I want to mention one more thing. I found a mobile bank in the Market on my tablet, although it showed a warning about an unsupported device. But I could not find the parking program from Yandex, using the Play Market on the tablet. Apparently with mobile bank the search was successful because an older version of the program compatible with it was previously installed on the tablet. But the parking program is completely new, and the Market apparently believes that it should not confuse the user and show him a program that is incompatible with his device. Thus, there is a possibility that you will not learn about any new useful program at all, even if potentially, after such cunning manipulations, it can work on your device. What to do in this case? Nothing, probably. If you really need the program, you will find a way to find and find it and install it. Now, really, that's all.

    P.S. I wrote the material a long time ago. While I was filling out, rewriting, and so on, a normal version of a mobile bank for a tablet came out. But parking from Yandex has not yet appeared.

    Often faced with an error that says that this application is "not supported on your device." This can confuse a person, and he will refuse to use great way to pay for purchases. In order to prevent this from happening, in our material we will consider the possible causes of the failure, and whether it is possible to bypass it in some way.

    Android Pay is not supported on this device: looking for reasons

    Obviously, we are talking about the incompatibility of the gadget and the application. This can happen due to the following factors:

    1. The Android platform that is installed on your smartphone, older version 4.4. (KitKat). Successful operation Android Pay only possible with newer OS. You can find out which system you have through "Settings" - sub-item "Device information".

    How to fix: if you find out that Android Pay not supported on your device due to outdated operating system then you can try to update it. Unfortunately, if this is not possible, then you will not be able to use the payment service on this device.

    2. The presence of an active NFC module (it is he who is responsible for the contactless transfer of information). You can check this information in the technical specifications of the gadget. On some phones and tablets, this feature can be manually enabled through the settings. Worth checking out.

    How to fix: Of course, you cannot fix the lack of an NFC module. But in the situation when you looked in the characteristics of the smartphone that there is a chip, but Android Pay still does not work, this may mean that the NFC module is simply not enabled. - read with us.

    3. If your device has root rights, then in this case the installation will definitely fail (and you may not even know about it). If the gadget has an unlocked bootloader, then it becomes less protected from scammers. So Google takes care of the safety of customers. However, this point can be bypassed, and we will talk about this later.

    How to fix: Even from this seemingly impasse there is a way out. This method is suitable for experienced users or just for brave people who want to feel like hackers. You will need the Magisk utility, it is she who will help hide presence of root from Android Pay. Read more about that on our website.

    What could be easier than downloading a useful messenger program and using it on your mobile device. Immediately after registering on the network, you can begin to communicate freely. The developers of the program made sure that it works correctly for all Android devices or iPhone. But sometimes you get an error saying that WhatsApp is not supported on your device. What to do in this situation, our portal will show.

    We will tell you what to do if Whatsapp is not supported.

    Which devices are suitable for the program

    Whatsapp is currently compatible with mobile gadgets, smartphones and tablets that run on the operating iOS system, Android or Windows Phone .

    There are no versions that could work smoothly on laptops, netbooks and other PC equipment. Perhaps they will be released soon, and the developer will notify users about it. At least, there are promises on the network from the company. There is a solution to the problem, you can bypass this limitation yourself if you first download and install an emulator called Bluestacks on your laptop.

    With BlueStack, the computer will support Whatsapp

    How to check if the software is supported

    Very simply, using a browser, go to the store where you can download for free various programs and utilities. To avoid confusion:

    1. For android gadgets is Google Play;
    2. For devices on the iOS platform - the virtual market AppStore;
    3. Owners Windows phone use the Microsoft Store.

    Check if Whatsapp is supported on Android.

    Check if Whatsapp is supported on iPhone.

    Check if Whatsapp is supported on Windows Phone.

    In each of these Markets, you need to find WhatsApp and carefully read the information indicated on the page. If you logged in from your gadget, the system automatically reads the version of the operating system. If the application is not supported, this will be indicated at the bottom of the download options, then you should not try to download, it will still not start.

    WhatsApp itself is an analogue of the SMS messenger. The developer does not see the need for a desktop version. On our website you can find allowing you to customize it to computer technology, and use it on both devices in parallel. Messages will come to both the PC and the smartphone, the profile remains the same and will not conflict between the two types of equipment.

    When plans fall apart, it's bad. I just heard about the opportunity to land on Erangel from the phone, went to the app store, clicked on the treasured game, and there ... PUBG Mobile not supported on your device. And they won't move left or right. But don't be sad. This mistake is only a minor obstacle on the way to TOP-1. We offer you three ways to deal with this problem.

    This message pops up for two reasons. The first is some kind of bug in Google apps. Second - you are trying to install the Royal battle on a little thing that is not included in the . If the first is very easy to solve, then the second is a more difficult task ...

    Clear Google.Play Cache

    This is the first step worth doing because it is the least time and effort consuming. Sometimes there is a bug that different files Markets accumulate, which is why some software cannot be installed just because of the error we are considering.

    • Open the settings of your device;
    • Go to the "Applications" section;
    • Look for the Google.Play icon there;
    • Clear the cache (if its number is 0, then go to the next section) - the button is at the very bottom.

    If this does not help, use the second method.

    Download APK

    The second method is to bypass the official store from Google and get the game on the side. Whether it will work for you without lags is another question. But everything has its time.

    • First load ;
    • Now you need to get. Throw it along the path "sdcard / Android / obb" using the file manager. If there is no "obb" folder, then create it - nothing bad will happen;
    • Then launch the app and enjoy.

    Change device model

    The most difficult and longest way is for those who are afraid to download something from outside. The point is that with special software, you will change the model of your smartphone through the settings. Google.Play will think you have something powerful and cool and will allow you to download the game.

    By the way, the same method will help if you have.

    For this decision you need to have root rights.

    • Get the Market Helper program and open it;
    • In chapter " Select Device» choose something solid - some samsung galaxy S9;
    • Click on "Activate";
    • After the reboot, go back to MH and check if the manipulations worked;
    • Go to the Market and download PUBG Mobile without "not supported on your device";
    • After downloading, return to "Market Helper" and put "Restore" everywhere to return the native model.

    The Android operating system today is rightfully considered the most free platform for mobile devices, on which neither users nor developers feel any restrictions. However, here, too, various situations periodically arise when, when trying to install specific application any errors occur, and the most common among them is the error that says " Not supported on your device».

    In some cases, the occurrence of such an error really indicates that your device is not intended for the installation of this application, but there are also situations when this error occurs for other reasons.

    Reasons for this error

    It is worth noting the three most common causes leading to this error:

    • Some characteristics of your gadget, according to the developers, are inconsistent with the requirements of their application, as they cannot ensure its normal operation.
    • Installation of this application is not available for residents of your country.
    • You are using the wrong version of the operating system. For example, some are still using Android 2.1, while many applications require without fail installations on platforms not lower than 4.0 ICS.

    At the same time, some of these restrictions can be easily circumvented if you know how it is done.

    Bypassing performance limitations

    On any device that is running an operating system Android systems, there is a specialized file called "build.prop", which is intended to determine the model of your device. If you are using a rooted phone, then this file can be easily edited, and your device will be presented as a completely different device.

    Of course, physically this does not mean that any applications will start to “fly” for you, but Google Play will consider it that way, so you will be able to download those applications that were previously inaccessible to you.

    There are ways that you can edit this file manually, but the best way to do this is to use special program Market Helper, as with its help the procedure will be much easier, faster and safer. The application is not available on Google Play, so you will need to download it from the developer's website.

    At the same time, it is worth saying right away that, despite the fact that most applications can interact perfectly with this program, its use still does not give you a 100% guarantee of success.

    Bypass regional restrictions

    Some developers, one by one known reasons make it so that only residents can download their programs certain countries or, conversely, create blocking for specific countries. It often happens that Russia and other CIS countries are included in this list, as a result of which users cannot download programs of interest to them.

    If you want to install such a program, you will need to make Google Play think that you are on this moment are in a different region. At the same time, it should immediately be noted that in certain situations, the use of the following methods does not allow achieving desired result, especially if you need to pay for purchases with bank account while outside the desired country.

    It is immediately worth noting the fact that you will need to clear the cache and data on Google Play first. To do this, go to " Settings", then go to the menu" Applications” and find the Google Play store there.
