• Android control via bluetooth headset. Voice telephone call from a computer. Setting up Bluetooth connection. Setting up computer audio devices

One of the useful features in Android is voice dialing. By learning to use it skillfully, you can save a lot of time and perform many operations without resorting to a standard keyboard.

This type of typing will make it possible not to be distracted by sometimes pressing very small keys. This is very convenient, for example, when you are driving a car. To perform the necessary actions, you just need to dictate your instructions to the device. But this is preceded by several basic actions that must be carried out in advance.

First, place the cursor so that the standard keyboard pops up. Click on the microphone image and the device will switch to voice input mode. This action varies depending on the device and system version. In most cases, you need to find the microphone icon on one of the buttons (spacebar or change language) and hold it down.

After these steps, a ready-to-use voice input panel will appear on the screen. You can use it not only for calls or dialing SMS messages, but also in the browser. This is very convenient, especially when you need to type a long message to send or any other text.

At this moment, an indicator in the form of a microphone will appear on the device screen. Pay close attention to the red frame around it. Its thickness indicates the volume of your voice. After pronouncing a word, it will be instantly processed and recognized, after which it will be displayed in a special field.

One of the simplest and at the same time most convenient to use applications designed for voice control of portable devices based on the Android operating system. With its help, you can “command” your device to dial the desired number, view information about the contact, launch the specified application, enter a query into the search engine installed in the default browser, and so on. The app doesn't require any setup and runs quietly in the background until you decide to use it.

You can view the list of commands that Cyberon VoiceCommander supports on the application's start screen. With each new version, this list expands, as the developers work very hard to improve their brainchild and equip it with new functions. Recently, the application, for example, has learned to work with Bluetooth headsets. The only significant drawback of Cyberon VoiceCommander today is that the application cannot work from an SD card, and therefore it will have to be installed in the “native” memory of the portable device. Otherwise, we have a very convenient and useful software solution.

Tips for setting up and using the program:
    Attention!
    - Some phones and headsets do not support the ability to start from the headset, this may only work on Android 2.2 and higher
    - After installing the program, reboot your device!!!
    - It was experimentally discovered that after moving the program to the SD card, calling the headset button stops working; re-transferring the situation does not correct the situation.
If you couldn’t start it from the headset, don’t worry, the program can be called up by long pressing the “Search” key.
A couple of tips for better setting up the program for better recognition: 1) In the address book in the program settings, select only a few contacts that you actively call (20-30), leave the rest inactive. 2) It is advisable that the contact be typed in a long combination of letters, for example, not “Olya”, but “Olya Ivanova”, or “Olya Employee”, it should also be pronounced... Then the program will not confuse “Olya” and “Yulia” .

To enable voice dialing when paired with a BlueTooth wireless headset, follow these steps:
    1. Make sure your phone platform is Android 2.2 (Froyo) or later and your headphones support Bluetooth wireless headset profile.
    2. Do not install the application on the SD card. Currently Cyberon Voice Commander does not support APP2SD.
    3. Reboot your phone after installing Cyberon Voice Commander.
    4. After installing Cyberon Voice Commander, disconnect the connected Bluetooth wireless headset.

For those who bought the paid version of the program and who had problems using it in terms of “hanging up” the device before rebooting on Android version 4.0.4:
1.You need to update to this software version with a full reset so that the device is clean of previous applications.
    2.Install CVC.
3.In the "Applications" menu, disable "Voice Dialing"; "Voice Search"; "Dictaphone" (in this version of the software you can disable applications selectively).
On some combinations of device + headset, calling a program by pressing the headset button does not work. We recommend using the Headset Button Controller program

The program is regularly updated on the market; the latest versions always have some changes and improvements in terms of support for devices and headsets. For a complete list of changes and information on setting up the program, see the market. The Russian version is available on the Russian market; it can be easily downloaded from there and installed.
Regarding the purchase of other (English versions), I advise you to take the WorlWide version, because... it is not reduced in functionality. All commands and recognition will be in English. How to buy this version: to do this, you will have to use Market enablera (you need root!) to pretend to be a subscriber of some Irish cellular phone and buy it on the Irish Market. Picture for download - on the official website.
Download Cyberon Voice Commande for Android you can follow the link below.

So, if you don’t want to bother yourself with hitting small keys on the keyboard, but just want to dictate text to your smartphone, then you need to do a few simple steps. First, place your cursor in any text field. You will see the standard Android keyboard. To switch to voice input mode, click on the microphone image.

After this, a special voice input panel will appear on the display of your device. There are only a few elements on it - an indicator in the form of a microphone, a list of languages and a "Done" button, which will switch you to normal text input mode. Right now you can start saying:

The red frame around the microphone changes in thickness depending on the volume of your voice. Words will appear in the selected field as they are processed. I note that for now, voice input on Android only works when connected to the Internet. If you need to enter information in another language, please select it from the drop-down list below:

That's it! I am sure that now you can easily use voice typing in the Android operating system and you will not have any difficulties with it.

How to do classic voice typing on Android

It still remains a mystery that on Android smartphones there is no classic voice dialing by voice tags (as it was before and is now on simpler mobile phones), which was even on my first Philips Savvy.

It can be assumed that it is excluded as an obsolete element and will “soon” be replaced by Google’s voice recognition machine. But this “soon” will not come.

I often use a wired headset and, at some point, I just got tired of taking my phone out of my pocket to make a call. I wanted to call the office by pressing a button on the headset and using a voice command, for example, “Work”.

In the end, a solution was found in a combination of two programs. Both programs are paid, but are very affordable.

    Voice Speed Dial
The first program for voice dialing “the old fashioned way” with the creation of voice tags Voice Speed Dial. It costs about $3. Available on the market https://market.android.com/details?id=com.cyberon.cvsd
Activated by pressing the search button on the smartphone. It works extremely simply, so there shouldn't be any difficulties. Create voice tags for your contacts.

The only problem is that the program is not activated by the keys of a wired headset. And without this it is practically useless.

    Headset Button Controller
To bind actions to headset keys, you will need another paid application Headset Button Controller at a price of $2.
    Paid version: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.kober.headsetbutton
    Trial version: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.kober.headset

For this task, you only need to configure the long press play key on your wired headset.

We launch the program, the settings window will immediately open.
    Select “Long click action”

And assign the action “Voice Search”.

We insert the headset and long press the play/pause button, check the box “Default for this action” and select “Voice Speed Dial”.

Now, a long press of the button on the headset will launch classic voice dialing.
The issue price was $5. IMHO inexpensive, but very convenient.

is a program that will literally give you a free hand. There are often situations when it is inconvenient to take out the phone to make a call - now you can make a call using a voice command. And this is not all the capabilities of this application.

    Video available:

The program is convenient and functional: in addition to its main task - dialing numbers by voice command, it can also launch various applications, open maps and get directions. In addition, the application can communicate the time to the user. This option will be convenient, for example, for those who listen to music on headphones and do not want to take out their phone again. It should be noted that the program is of particular interest when using a telephone headset. By pressing and holding the button on it, you call the program, after which you can give commands to it. It would be a good idea to install voice dialing on your tablet, especially if it has a GSM module and is sometimes used for calls.

The developers have worked hard on the convenience and functionality of the application. There are two modes that can be switched when the headset is turned on and off. The mode with the headset on means using the device while driving - nothing will distract you from driving. It should also be noted that VoiceButton will work without the Internet on devices with firmware versions older than 4.1. For greater ease of use, as well as to eliminate erroneous commands, it is possible to set command aliases. By default, to make a call you need to say the name of the contact or program, but this is not always convenient. When assigning a nickname to a team, it is better to use simple words that are not similar to each other.
The extensive capabilities and convenience of the add-on speak for themselves, so it won’t hurt to download voice dialing to your Android tablet or smartphone.
