And the green light is fully consistent with its 2G mode.

When connecting a modem, you need to download the Megafon program. It doesn't take much time, about five minutes maximum. After which the program will turn on automatically every time you turn on the computer if a modem is connected to it. But since I don’t take out the modem, this is very convenient for me.

In the upper right corner of the screen you can always see the Internet speed, the account balance is also indicated there. I have 3G mode - this is also displayed there. The program is very convenient, you can minimize it so as not to interfere with your work. The main thing is to remember to turn it off after finishing work.

You can choose 4G, but I simply don’t need it, the speed is already enough. The 2G mode is also not useless, but you can’t watch video with it, so I don’t use it. There is also an automatic selection of modes, but alas, with it the Internet constantly disappears as soon as the modes change from one to another.

I am very pleased with the speed of the Megafon Turbo modem. Pages open instantly, videos load very quickly and do not freeze while watching. There has never been a time when the Internet disappeared out of the blue. Those were the pros, and now I’ll move on to the cons.

Unfortunately, Megafon no longer has unlimited tariffs, so after some deliberation we took a 40 GB tariff, of which 20 can be used during the day, 20 at night. But it only seems that 20 GB during the day is a lot, but in fact it is only enough for social networks. This is quite enough for me to work on the Internet, but if I watch movies regularly, the traffic quickly runs out, and it’s not enough for a month.

Therefore, you have to watch movies at night, but this is also not very pleasant, because with Megafon the night begins not at 0 o’clock, as it should be, but at 1 o’clock. Therefore, I will think again before staying up so long to watch a movie. In this regard, night traffic is of very little use; I use it only on weekends, which means very rarely.

In the Megafon program you can see the amount of traffic used, but alas, it shows the total amount of daytime and nighttime traffic, and it’s impossible to figure out exactly how much daytime and how much nighttime traffic was used. Therefore, it is usually impossible to save money, and the traffic ends unexpectedly.
