5. The next two parameters and "Upload images" apply to downloading files sent to you. In the first tab, select in which cases the email client will download attachments, in the second - indicate how images will be downloaded: manually or automatically if there is a good connection.

   

6. Next, check the boxes next to the required items in the application.
   
7. If you do not want anyone else to be able to log into the Mail.Ru email client from your device, then in the tab "PIN & Fingerprint" You can set up login using a password or fingerprint. To activate PIN protection, check the appropriate box and then enable the appropriate settings.

Then click the Select Shortcut drop-down menu. You'll see a list of the shortcuts you're currently using. Select New Shortcut and enter a name in the field provided. When finished, click Create.

Setting up notifications on your phone

Launch the Gmail Android app on your phone. Open the menu and select Settings. In the next window, select the email account where you created the filter. Scroll down and select Manage Shortcuts.

Since you only want to receive notifications about specific messages, turn off sync in Starred.

1) Set the correct time and time zone.

Incorrectly set time can negatively affect the operation of notifications. If you notice that the time on your device is different from the real one, this may be the reason for your inconvenience. To set the time you need:

1) go to "Settings" to section;

2) disable function "Auto time detection"(it may also be called "Network time zone");

3) install correct date And time, and also choose your time zone;
