A budget-class smartphone with a very modest price and excellent technical parameters is precisely the Micromax Q415. Characteristic this device from the standpoint of both hardware specifications and software, indicates that this is an excellent entry-level product.

    Gadget niche

As noted earlier, the Micromax Canvas Pace Q415 smartphone is a typical representative of entry-level budget mobile devices. It has a standard screen, as for such devices, with a diagonal length of 4.5 inches and the usual resolution of 854x480px. Among other features of this smartphone, we can highlight the presence of support for cellular networks of the 4th generation, a high-quality processor from Qualcom and its good autonomy. But still, the key advantage of this gadget is the cost. The combination of all the previously listed advantages sets this entry-class mobile phone model apart from its main competitors.

    Equipment

The typical, standard equipment for an entry-level smart phone is present in the Micromax Q415. The characteristics of this smart phone on this side indicate the presence of the following components, documentation and accessories in it:

A smartphone with a removable battery installed inside.

      User manual in several languages.

      Battery charging adapter.

      Interface cord.

      Warranty card.

      Economy class stereo headset.

Definitely, the only thing missing from this list is a protective film for the front of the device and a case. But if you can somehow manage without the first component and temporarily use the factory film with inscriptions, then you certainly can’t do it without a cover. On the other hand, the cost of this phone is so low that you can add the missing amount and buy these two accessories at once. Another important note about the package is the absence of a memory card. But this minus is also compensated by the cost of the device.

    Design

INIn terms of design, this smartphone is a typical representative of the budget segment of the market. It is made in the most common case version today - “monoblock”. On the front panel, in addition to the touch display, there is also a speaker, a sensor unit and a front camera peephole (located above the screen) and a control unit (located along the screen). The system for adjusting the volume and locking the gadget, consisting of three mechanical buttons, is located on the right edge of the smart phone. Wired ports are grouped at the top end of the device - this is a 3.5 mm audio jack and, of course, micro-USB. At the bottom there is only a conversational microphone. On the back cover there is the main camera of the device, its backlight and a loud speaker. There is also the logo of the company that manufactured this device.

    CPU

One of the best budget processors is at the heart of the Micromax Q415. Characteristic This semiconductor crystal indicates the presence of 4 computing modules, which are based on the Cortex A7 architecture, capable of operating at a clock frequency of 1. 1 GHz and produced according to the technological process standards of 28 nm. The only drawback of this chip is the lack of support for 64-bit computing. At most, this CPU can process only 32 bits of information in 1 clock cycle. But for most chips in this price segment of the mobile gadget market, this disadvantage is typical.

    Graphics subsystem

The Micromax Q415 smartphone has a fairly powerful graphics adapter. Characteristics this device indicate the presence ADRENO 304. This accelerator, like the processor, was developed by QUALKOMM. It functions perfectly in conjunction with the processor part of this mobile device. Its main task is to free up the CPU's computing resources from processing graphic information, and this is exactly what it does very well.

    Screen

DThe diagonal length of the display in this mobile device is 4.5 inches, typical for this class of devices. As noted earlier, the resolution of this touch screen is 854x480px. The matrix of the image output subsystem is made using technologyIPSand has the maximum possible viewing angles, which are very close to 180 0 .

    Memory

Just 1GB of RAM is installed in the Micromax Canvas Pace Q415. Characteristics it indicates an operating frequency of 533 MHz and full compliance with the standardDDR3.As a rule, the operating system, after loading the mobile device, occupies about 500-600 MB of it. The user can use the remaining 400-500 MB to run application software. The built-in storage capacity of this smartphone is 8 GB, typical for entry-level devices. At the same time, about 4 GB is occupied by preinstalled system software, and the remaining 4 GB are allocated so that the user can store personal information or install additional application software. There is also a slot for installing memory cards. The maximum size of such an external drive can reach 32 GB.As noted earlier, this accessory is not included in the package of the smartphone; it must be purchased additionally.

    Cameras

The hero of this review has 2 cameras at once. Installed on the front panel it has a size of 2 megapixels. This is more than enough for video calls. But for a high-quality “selfie” this value is definitely not enough. A slightly better sensor is at the heart of the gadget’s main camera. It already has a resolution of 5 megapixels. At normal lighting levels, this allows you to count on acceptable photo and video quality. Only the lack of stabilization and autofocus systems has an extremely negative impact on their quality. As a result, it can be noted that this smartphone clearly has problems with high-quality photos and videos.

    Autonomy & battery

As noted earlier, the Micromax Q415 phone boasts a removable 1800 mAh battery. Characteristics of this device indicate that in the most intense load mode, this gadget can last 10-12 hours on one charge. If you use this device in this mode, you need to be prepared for the fact that you will have to charge it every evening. If you don’t use this cell phone so intensively, then it will be able to last 2-3 days on one charge. AlsoIt is necessary to note what to buy in addition to this devicePowerBankIt doesn’t make much sense and his autonomy is already in perfect order.

    Interfaces

All current interfaces are currently supported by Micromax Q415 LTE. Characteristics gadgets indicate support for the following:

All currently existing cellular networks with 2Gand 4 eachG (that isLTE).

This device also has transceiversWiFi And Bluetooth.

To implement navigation functions, this smartphone is equipped withGPS - receiver

In this case, there are 2 wired interfaces - a micro-USB and a 3.5 mm audio port.

    Software

As expected, the system software in this case is the most common software platform for mobile devices - Android. It should also be noted that it has a completely current version - 5.1, which is not so often found in the budget segment of the entry-level mobile device market. In domestic stores, you often find such gadgets designed to work in the cellular networks of just one operator. Megafon was especially successful in this regard. But a relatively simple flashing of this cell phone allows you to solve this issue by installing new system software.
