DNS cache

There is a slightly more complicated way - look at the DNS cache.

You can find the cache this way:

Activate search in Windows, depending on the operating system it may be in the Start menu, or it may be at the bottom of the desktop;
In the text window, write cmd in Latin letters, and select the command line in the search results;
A command line will open for entering text, in which you need to enter ipconfig/displaydns and press Enter.

The system will give you a detailed list of visited services.

You can use hotkeys to speed up the search. Press the flag key (Win) and the English letter “R” at the same time. Thus, a new “Run” system window will appear in front of you in the lower left corner of the screen. In it you write “cmd”, naturally without quotes, and click on “OK”. And also, as described above, paste into the command line - ipconfig/displaydns and press Enter.

Actions on the computer

When you want to control what time your personal computer was working, when it turned off, and so on, then do the following:

Hover over the computer icon;
Right-click, select - control;
Next, go to the event viewer and open it in the submenu - Windows logs.

As a result of the actions taken, you will receive a report on the operating time of the device, how it was turned on and off, the amount of information received or sent, installed or removed programs, and all updates.

And if you want to find out what programs were running on your computer without your knowledge, then you should open the WINDOWS folder on the system drive and go to the Prefetch directory. Here you will see a list of all programs launched in the last 24 hours.

Close your browser, launch the program and scan the disk. This program has several analogues with free licenses.

The Handy Recovery program interface consists of two windows. The right one provides the browsing function, and on the left you will see deleted files, among which is your log file. It must be isolated and then restored. You will see the corresponding button at the top of the interface.

Find the folder on your disk dedicated to your browsing history. It is usually located on drive C, in the Program Files directory. Move the files you just recovered into it. Open your browser and view your browsing history.
