• Original names in contact. How to name yourself on VKontakte, Odnoklassniki and other social networks and forums

    Hello! I was recently asked how you can subscribe to VK (short for VKontakte) under your account. At first I thought that we were talking about subscribing to updates in communities and news feeds of friends. It turned out that we were talking about beautiful nicknames for girls and guys who communicate through social networks.

    I wanted to write several materials on each topic separately. However, then I decided that it would be more convenient if such information was collected in one place. What do you think, is it a good idea?

    In connection with the growing relevance of remote work through social networks and beyond, I will mention one interesting point.

    Do you know which 7 professions are relevant for making money on the Internet? You can find out more about them at free online marathon.

    What nickname can a guy and a girl sign up for: examples

    I would like to note right away that in the settings of your personal page you need to indicate your real first and last name. This is written directly in the rules for using the site.

    You can indicate your nickname, for example, in the “about yourself” information block. By the way, when creating a group or public page, you need to specify its name. Subsequently, administrators can leave posts in them, signing on behalf of such communities.

    As I said earlier, I will give small lists of one-word nicknames in Russian as examples. If desired, they can be written in English and combined with other words.

    • For girls. Hummingbird, princess, hooligan, angel, cloud, sun, devil, snowflake.
    • For guys. Knight, devil, polymath, bully, egoist, wizard, leader, boss, iceberg.

    Any better ideas? Add to the list in the comments.

    The only request is that the words in nicknames must be decent. If this turns out not to be the case, the comment will be deleted.

    How to subscribe to updates in the community?

    Everything here is quite simple. You only need to do two steps:

    1. open the community home page;
    2. In the right side column, find the “subscribe” button and click on it.

    As you can see, it even shows how many of your friends are already subscribed to the current community. If you click on the corresponding line, you can see a detailed list. By the way, it’s a convenient opportunity to find people to talk to on topics of interest.

    Have you thought about creating your own? We will consider this topic in a future publication.

    How to subscribe to user wall updates?

    Nothing complicated here either. You will also need to do 2 steps:

    1. go to the user's page;
    2. In the left side column of the site, under the avatar, find the “add as a friend” button and click it.

    After this, the person can add the user as a friend or keep him as a subscriber.

    Okay, let's say we subscribed to updates provided by a specific user or community administrators. Where can you watch them?

    For this purpose, VK has a special section called “my news”. After switching to it, you will be able to watch new events. For convenience, they are divided into thematic categories. For clarity, I will show everything in the screenshot.

    It’s quite convenient when all new events are accumulated in one place.

    Social media work and alternatives

    By the way, have you ever thought about mastering the in-demand profession on VKontakte - administrator. Do you use other social networks and are looking for alternative types of income? Then take a look at the full list of topical courses.

    Working on the Internet, making a profit with and without websites are the main topics of this project. I try to talk about really promising approaches, avoiding cheap options.

    This concludes a comprehensive consideration of the question of how you can subscribe to VK with different names and update information. I hope the information on financial prospects on the Internet was also useful.

    I update the blog quite often. I publish announcements of new materials on social networks. You can watch them there. Email subscription also works. It's free. See you later.

    At the same time, he closely followed the Soviet press and did not just read newspapers, but made constant notes and clippings on issues that interested him.
    He could not have done half of what he did if he had not strictly regulated his life. He declared a decisive war against all bohemianism and laxity and always demanded business-like conduct of meetings, precise collection, business-like performance, and responsibility in carrying out assignments.
    You make an agreement to come to his work at two o’clock, but you arrive at half past three. He refuses to talk... We are friends. I can see from his face that he is simply happy to see me. But in vain I ask to give me an “audience,” he laughs affectionately, but resolutely refuses to talk: he already has other things to do, and, besides, he clearly wants to teach me to be careful, and he does it without any pedantry, very cheerfully and kindly.
    He was very indignant and upset when people were late for meetings of the board secretariat. And it happened more than once that a latecomer, arriving at a meeting, found the following picture. Dmitry Andreevich himself poses the question out loud, and after some thought he answers himself. Lyubov Iosifovna Kogan (then technical secretary of MAPP) takes the minutes. “Sit down! - says Dmitry Andreevich, looking angrily at the latecomer. “You see, no one is there, you’re the first, and you’re already twenty minutes late!” I myself examined two questions here - after the meeting you will familiarize yourself with them; If there are any objections, we’ll come to an agreement!”
    For Furmanov, waiting for a latecomer meant submitting to a lax lifestyle, and to this lifestyle he declared war and waged it persistently and cheerfully.
    Dmitry Andreevich Furmanov lived in a constant, cheerful and cheerful rhythm of work. It was like a march, a cheerful marching step to the music that he heard from somewhere inside his young and inspired soul. There was nothing forced, soullessly sanctimonious or doctrinaire about this. He lived intensely, organized and disciplined. It was fun for him to live like this, and, being friends with him, I involuntarily wanted to imitate the cheerful, hard-working pace of his life. His day was so compact that every quarter of an hour was thought out in advance.
    Having gotten up early in the morning and done gymnastics, Dmitry Andreevich devoted these early hours, when his head was especially fresh, to his next work, the one he was working on. There was a period when I often stayed overnight with him. In the morning you want to talk to him, you open the door to his office, you see the stubborn back of his head through the crack, his whole figure bent over the desk - and you understand that you cannot disturb him.
    After working, he went to work. He always walked from Nashchokinsky Lane to the center, trying to choose different routes whenever possible - this was his walk - just like going home after work, having lunch and again to a meeting or meeting - always on foot. Even now, without sad emotion and tenderness, I cannot look at the sidewalk of Prechpstinsky Boulevard: how many times, after some heated discussion of that time, did we walk quickly and cheerfully along this deserted sidewalk, past houses that, just like now, stood for more than thirty years ago... Everything that was expressed in clear and dry formulations during the discussion was deciphered in the lyrics of experiences in a friendly conversation. Here are creative plans, not yet separated from the flesh of his own biography, and now the writer Furmanov, talking about his next work (he was then working on “The Mutiny”), again turns into an excited participant in wonderful events... “We need to write a play about this! » - he exclaims, and this means that the play will be written in a year, in two!

    Hi, friend! It’s cool that you are engaged in creativity and are going to let it into the masses =) I know this, because otherwise you wouldn’t have wondered how to come up with a pseudonym.

    In this article, I will tell you about the typical mistakes that people make when choosing a nickname, what exactly I think makes a nickname cool and memorable, I will give a bonus and give examples.

    But first, it would be nice to tell who I am and why I am writing an article on a similar topic. The fact is that I myself am not far from creativity, and just like you I was faced with the problem that I could not decide what to call myself. I tried about 5 nicknames over several years, and settled, in my opinion, on the best. I’ll tell you why I decided this at the end of this article.

    3 common mistakes when choosing a nickname

    • The first thing I would like to talk about is that you should not choose a nickname as a nickname. I mean ordinary nicknames that everyone had in the yard or at school, which may have carried over into adult life, and then you decide that since everyone already calls you Vantuz, then even in the creative community you will be known by by this name. Possible for YouTube (if you run your own channel) this would only be a suitable nickname if you were covering some internet crap or something worse. I don't see any other options here.
    • The next point is simply called “shit and eat.” I think that from the title of this paragraph it should be clear what I mean. This kind of crap is very common among gamers, but they have their own specifics... At the same time, someone calls themselves that in VKontakte, uses a similar pseudonym for rap and for YouTube. I have one question for such people - what kind of patience and desire to find out who the author of this “wonderful creation” should a person have in order to read (correctly!), remember, recommend you to someone, and so that he can then easily find you in Internet. For some reason no one thinks about this. No need to force people to tense up!
    • The next typical mistake is that in an attempt to come up with a super-cool and unique, memorable nickname, people completely forget about adequacy. Here are some examples of real people: homeless person, homo in the village, Vodavrot and these are not the most frostbitten =) When I see such names, it immediately becomes clear that the person is doing something frivolous at the level of an amateur... there is no point in watching or listening to him desires. And it's not worth it.

    These are the key mistakes that I was able to highlight from the crowd. I strongly recommend not to repeat them. Why? It seems clear enough.

    Now to the main question

    How to choose a good nickname

    There are quite a lot of options. I don’t know which one will be more useful to you, so read on and choose what you like.

    • The first and most obvious is a pseudonym from a name. I don’t know why many people avoid this option. Just look at your first and last name. Perhaps it reads and looks very cool and there is no need to change anything. You can try to write in English if you are going to make yourself known abroad. This would be a great solution for an artist or musician... or designer. Denis Simachev is an example.
    • It won't suit everyone, but it's an option. Again, play with your name. Perhaps by combining part of the first and last names, you can get a good nickname. For example, not to go far, the author of this blog is also known as Deep.
    • The following options are more complicated. Think about what mood your creativity conveys, what topics it is about and where it is directed. Based on this, sketch out on a piece of paper all the associations that come to your mind. Then either choose from what is available, or you can continue the chain, but this is unlikely. Out of 3 questions, you can easily write 30 options. You can choose something from this. Perhaps slightly adjusted for better sound.
    • The next option requires time and experience in what you do. As I promised at the beginning, now I’ll tell you how I chose my last stage name. My environment helped me with this, even without my participation. According to my friend, in the conversation they started talking about me... word for word, and a new nickname was ready, sonorous and which is meaningfully connected with me. I didn’t approach anyone at all with the words “help me come up with a cool nickname”, it somehow all happened on its own. But I repeat that it will most likely take a lot of time.

    Mistakes when coming up with a nickname (pseudonym)

    There are few of them, but they exist. And for success in your endeavor, I advise you to use these points.

    • The name should not be long. If you have more than 10 letters in one word, then you should think about a different nickname.
    • The next point is related to the first, but I decided to separate them. There is no need to make your nickname more than 4-5 words. It’s very inconvenient to read and write, and it’s unlikely that anyone will remember it the first time. But there is an exception. I remember once watching a Comedy Battle program and there were guys who called themselves “Just a fellow traveler and you know about it.” In my opinion, it’s a great name for comedians. I can’t say exactly why it sounds great and is memorable, perhaps it has something to do with the song =)
    • Should be easy to read. I wrote about this in errors and will repeat it again. Make your name as simple and clear as possible - it will be easier for people to remember you.
    • There is no dissonance between what you do and your name. It would be very strange to be called a “little pony” when you are a 35-year-old man with a mohawk who performs growling hard metal... well, I think the example is clear.

    How to choose a creative nickname for a girl? Try these same tips. It seems to me that there should be no differences.

    Generators of nicknames, names and pseudonyms - a bonus for the lazy

    And now the promised bonus for those who got scammed. Now there are quite a lot of services on the Internet that allow you to generate a nickname or name for yourself. As a bonus to today’s material, I’ll list some of them so that you have plenty to choose from. These generators are made for lazy people who don't want to think for themselves. As a rule, they all work in the same way (set the required number of characters and words, press a button and get a standard and uninteresting nickname).

Their lists are huge.

    We offer you examples of pseudonyms for various cases, which will not only be of interest to you, but may also help you choose your own (individual and original pseudonym).

    Nicknames for social networks, for example, for VKontakte

    When communicating on the Internet, not everyone wants to tell everything about themselves (which is absolutely correct). In the first stages of dating, in most cases the name is hidden, some abstract nickname is taken that says nothing about the person or only slightly lifts the veil of uncertainty.

    Girls prefer something light, sometimes funny or cool, they decorate the name with all sorts of symbols, like here:

    We come up with a nickname based on the last name for girls

    Sometimes circumstances force you to change your real last name (due to its dissonance or unpleasant memories). And young ladies are looking for a pseudonym for their creative sites, dating, only partially reminiscent of their former surname. Then their friends will easily recognize them, and the previous discontent will disappear. Choose an option that is easy to remember, concise, and looks beautiful in Latin. The name, as a rule, is preserved more often in its short form.

    For example, for Svetlana Prus, you can offer the following options: Pruss Lana, Lana Pruss, Svetlana Locust (translated as locust, cicada) or Lana Tarakanova.

    • Irina Naumenko - Iren Naumenko, Naum Irina, Naira$;
    • Solar - Sun, Sun;
    • Kuznetsova - Blacksmith, Smith, Farrier (blacksmith in English).

    You can fantasize endlessly. For example, taking my childhood nickname as a basis, most of them were very accurate. And your friends will recognize you easily. Another option is to swap your last name and first name.

    • Ivanova Nastya - Ivanna Nastina;
    • Alexandrova Tatyana - Alex Tannin, Alex Tannin;
    • Marinina Ekaterina - Marianna Katina.

    Or completely move away from the old surname: Tatyana Petrushkina can become Tanya Fortuna, Cool, Beautiful or Smart.

    Names are pseudonyms. Examples

    A nickname can be formed simply from a name, shortening it, writing it in Latin, or slightly altering it.

    • Caterina;
    • Kira;
    • Kati;
    • Sonya;
    • Stacy;
    • Clar;
    • Marian;
    • Kitty;
    • Irene;
    • Lana.

    Cool - (cool), cool and interesting nicknames

    Some girls want to show wit. They come up with cute, cute names that convey their mood, or use nicknames that cause surprise, laughter, and even dissatisfaction from the public. And thereby making the owner herself happy.

    How do you like these pseudonyms collected on the Internet:

    • ★Malenkaya pakost★●;
    • Girl Shock Therapy;
    • Stealing_Souls_Expensive;
    • PrIkoL`nAyA_GeRLa;
    • DREAMS_WILL COME TRUE (nickname of the optimist);
    • Will your dreams come true? (nickname of a pessimist);
    • What came to mind =) (funny);
    • Awesome_me;
    • ॐYour_personal_NightMareॐ (your personal nightmare:);
    • Harmful. ;
    • Bubble;
    • Sweet candy.

    Names associated with color also sound interesting:

    • Pink;
    • Aqua;
    • Phlox.

    It is possible to create a nickname by combining your nickname and color or using verbs.

    It will turn out incredibly cute:

    • Pink candy;
    • BlueLemon;
    • Flying Kitty.

    You can take the syllables that sound nice to you and create the perfect name. It will take time to come up with something decent.

    • Prekacho;
    • Kachoray;
    • Psikatoni;

    Yes, they sound Chinese, but perhaps you can come up with something more euphonious.

    How can a girl choose (come up with) a suitable nickname?

    Your nickname should set you apart from others. Therefore, take his choice responsibly. Although... humor will not be superfluous.

    • Try to make the name look good. For example, TainaShow looks better than tainashow.
    • Do not use special characters such as ★~](](, this is not always appropriate.
    • If you create a nickname based on your last name or first name, use their short form, then the final version will be concise.
    • The nickname should be easy to pronounce.
    • When choosing, remember your talents and hobbies. Such applications (Act, Dancer, Speaker, Coach, Violin) to the name - in combination they will give a good nickname: AnnaViolin, LanaDancer, AlexCoach.
    • You can associate a nickname with your place of birth or residence. Lesya Ukrainka is a great example.
    • After reading our recommendations, come up with a few names, write them down on paper and read them out loud. Are you pleased to hear them? Choose the most euphonious one, ask your friend to address you this way for several days. Do you manage to get used to the new nickname, isn’t it annoying? Something is wrong, look for an alternative.
    • Remember, overly loud nicknames (Mistress, Goddess, Demon) are unlikely to take root and will cause rejection among friends. But too funny ones (Malenkaya pakost), on the contrary, can stick very tightly and cause laughter in others, and of course - dissatisfaction with you.
