First start

A smart card is inserted into the receiver slot. Make sure that the antenna cable is connected to the appropriate connector of the receiver and to the converter, connect the receiver to the TV. Then turn on the power to the devices. As a rule, the receiver immediately goes into operating mode and the “Setup Wizard” starts (in Tricolor it is always in Russian). The receiver ID is used to check whether the equipment is registered or not. ID is located in the menu on the “Status” tab or called from the remote control using the ID button:

On the Tricolor website, in the “Information about the receiver” section, enter the ID in a special field and click the “Check registration possibility” button. You will be prompted to continue registration or you will receive a message that you should contact the dealer from whom you purchased the equipment.

After filling out all the fields, click the “I have read…” button, then “Continue”, and the “Individual code” field appears.

Attention: this is the Individual card code, please do not confuse it with the receiver ID!

The code is read from the back of the card, entered into the field and click “Continue”. The contract number is displayed on the screen, and a password to enter your Personal Account is sent to your e-mail and mobile phone. From this moment on, the receiver is waiting for a code to unlock channels; it should not be turned off.
