Then the company had an interesting alternative - the “At Your Rhythm” tariff, where 4 GB of traffic was offered for a subscription fee of 10.35 rubles, and additional packages could be connected to the tariff itself. For example, 5 favorite numbers for 2.45, 150 minutes to all networks for 4.90 or 450 minutes to all networks for 11.44 rubles.

It turns out that the average subscriber, who requires about 4 GB of traffic per month and who uses about 400 minutes for the same period, had to either use the Smart 3 tariff, to which he would have to purchase an additional 1 GB traffic package at a price of 4.90 rubles, or connect to the “At Your Rhythm” tariff with additional service packages, which would cost the subscriber from 17.70 (5 favorite numbers plus 150 minutes to all networks) to 21.79 (only 450 minutes to all networks).

In January 2017, velcom announced four tariffs from the “Comfort” series with traffic included in the subscription fee in the amount of 1, 2, 4 and 8 GB, and on April 17, they also announced the “Comfort Light” tariff with 500 MB of traffic. The most interesting for most of them are Comfort 2, 4 and 8.

At first glance, it seems that velcom did not offer anything radically new. However, this is not true. A distinctive feature of “Comforts” is that in the 3G network calls to velcom subscribers are unlimited (except for the “Comfort Light” tariff with 500 minutes within the network). A subscriber using Comfort 2 has access to expanded capabilities, a larger volume of traffic, and therefore a greater number of options for spending time on the Internet. The financial field has been mastered

The velcom stand is divided into two zones - one is dedicated to various services for individuals, the second - for business. In total, at the current TIBO, the telecom operator presented thirteen solutions, five of which are completely new. It is noteworthy that some services lie in a non-traditional area for a telecommunications company, namely in the field of finance.

So, just the other day the operator launched a virtual v-banking card. This is a bank card of the international payment system VISA, intended for making payments to the ERIP, purchasing goods in online stores and paying for online taxis.

The key feature of the virtual card is that you can get it in a matter of minutes through the v-banking mobile application. A virtual payment card from velcom is available to clients of any Belarusian bank. At the same time, you do not need to pay anything for its release, as well as for maintenance.

This is the first virtual card with cashback on the domestic market: 2% of the amount of each online purchase is returned to the card account owner. This is a comprehensive service consisting of equipment (hub, surveillance cameras, a set of sensors) and a mobile application that allows you to control all devices directly from your smartphone, adjust lighting and control the situation in your living space.

To communicate with the outside world, you can use both Ethernet and a 3G network, which allows you to install the system not only in the city, but also in rural areas.

No less interesting is the solution for ensuring uninterrupted operation of Wi-Fi in large apartments and country houses. Standard routers do not always cope with such areas, and “dead” zones can form in rooms. To solve the problem, you can use so-called Wi-Fi drives - the latest generation routers to cover large premises with ultra-fast (up to 600 Mbit/s) Internet.

Externally, the device resembles a small stylish plate or “pancake”. The coverage area of ​​one such disk is 100 square meters. Thus, to create a good signal in a house with an area of, for example, 300 square meters, three Wi-Fi disks are enough. All together they form a single network.

At the same time, the “pancakes” do not require a wire connection to each other and provide “seamless” coverage. The NB-IoT network has already been launched in Minsk and all regional cities. In the future, the new infrastructure will cover almost all areas - from urban water and heat supply to the “smart home”. In the meantime, the telecom operator has launched pilot projects with some companies.

By the way, the exhibition presents both prototypes and working versions of various sensors - for example, individual and group metering of water and heat.

I would also like to draw attention to such a service as SIP telephony. This is a new type of telephony, a kind of symbiosis of regular communications and the Internet, allowing you to make ultra-clear calls at special prices without a GSM gateway.

During a call, voice is converted into compressed data packets that are transmitted over the network and then converted into speech. This type of telephony is intended primarily for companies with a call center, sales service, dispatch or consulting service. It may also be of interest to those who are planning to organize office telephony or have their own PBX (automatic telephone exchange).

Among the differences are high quality of communication (better than 2G/3G from a GSM gateway) and wide scaling capabilities. Thus, you can open an unlimited number of channels and numbers using almost any equipment. You can call using SIP telephony to numbers both within the country and abroad.
