• Hacked keyboard in Russian android. Installing and configuring Hacker's Keyboard - a convenient on-screen keyboard for Android. Key Features and Functions

If you lack the usual key layout used on a PC or laptop, Hacker`s Keyboard is exactly the application that will allow you to achieve the same functionality of a virtual keyboard on the screen of any Android gadget. A separate row of number keys, cursor control buttons and all the usual function keys are in place. Multi-touch support ensures the operation of modifiers (Alt, Ctrl, Shift).

This keyboard is ideal for using SSH access to other devices using ConnectBot. Esc, Tab and other keys, familiar to standard PC keyboards, will allow you to achieve full functionality on your smartphone or tablet, as if you were holding a laptop or desktop with a full keyboard. Spell checking with support for 14 languages is implemented through additional plugins, any of which you can download and install if necessary. The modular principle of connecting dictionaries saves the memory of your device and allows you to optimize the work with the keyboard to the required extent. Due to the large number of keys, the application is more convenient to use on tablets or smartphones with a large screen diagonal. To improve your work experience, you can independently set the dimensions of the keyboard and the size of the characters on the keys.

At the moment, there is already a large selection of keyboards for Android devices that take into account the different functional and taste preferences of people. We will not dwell on the many keyboard options, comparing their capabilities; this article is more intended to help beginners understand how to install and use a keyboard on Android.

Our choice fell on a convenient on-screen keyboard - Hacker's Keyboard.

This keyboard is very similar to a computer keyboard. It has separate keys with letters, numbers, punctuation marks, arrow keys and even the Fn key.

Hacker's Keyboard supports different keyboard layouts, which can be easily changed by simply swiping the space bar:

    Armenian (Հայերեն)

    Armenian (العربية)

    Bulgarian (Bulgarski ezik)

    Czech (Čeština)

    Danish (dansk)

    English Dvorak (language "en_DV")

    English QWERTY (QWERTY)

    English/British (en_GB)

    Finnish (Suomi)

    French (Français, AZERTY)

    German (Deutsch, QWERTZ)

    Greek (ελληνικά)

    Hebrew (עברית)

    Italian (Italiano)

    Lao (ພາສາລາວ)

    Norwegian (Norsk bokmål)

    Persian (فارسی)

    Portuguese (Português)

    Romanian (Română)

    Russian (Russian)

    Russian phonetic (Russian, ru-rPH)

    Serbian (Srpski)

    Slovak (Slovenčina)

    Croatian/Bosnian (Slovenščina)/Bosnian/Croatian/Latin Serbian

    Spanish

    Swedish (Svenska)

    Thai (ไทย)

    Turkish (Türkçe)

    Ukrainian (Ukrainian language).

Let's move on to the process of installing and configuring this keyboard:

    1) The first thing we need to do is install this keyboard from the Play Market.

For those who have a QR scanner installed, you can use the code:

    2) Go to Android settings. To do this, click on the clock in the lower right. There will be a pattern of three stripes with bars on them.

    3) In the settings we find “Language and input”. In the "KEYBOARD AND INPUT METHODS" section, you must select the desired keyboard. In our case, this is Hacker's Keyboard.

We put a checkmark in front of Hacker's Keyboard, as shown in the first picture. The checkboxes from other additional keyboards must be unchecked (the Android keyboard does not count - it is preinstalled in Android).

    4) Select our keyboard to use as default.

    5) If you click on the settings button, as shown in the third picture, you will be taken to the settings of the keyboard itself (fourth picture). There you can change display methods, themes and select the required input languages.

The following pictures show how to install the languages you need:

    Happy setup!

In landscape orientation, the layout of this keyboard is almost completely similar to a regular 101-key computer keyboard, which gives good advantages when typing.

Before you start using Hacker's Keyboard, you need to configure everything correctly. Let's divide each action into points:

    1. After launching the application from the desktop or Application Menu, click on the Configure input method button. You will be taken to the Language and Input section of the system settings, where you need to check the box next to Hacker's Keyboard. A standard warning will appear, which you can safely ignore (this application does not have any rights to collect entered information, so you don’t have to worry about data security ).
    2. After that, go back to the home screen by pressing the Back button on your device. After that, click on the button below - Set current input method. In the pop-up window, mark this keyboard as your primary input method.
    3. The keyboard is now set up as the default keyboard, but that's not all, as additional dictionaries need to be downloaded. To do this, click on Get dictionaries and download the dictionaries you need from Google Play (the weight of one dictionary does not exceed 1 megabyte).
    4. After successful download, return to the main screen and click Input Languages. Now select the languages in which you will print text from the list. This completes the setup.

As can be seen from the screenshots, the layout Hacker's Keyboard very similar to a computer keyboard. A nice touch was to see the arrow block, which helps you navigate through the text much faster than just clicking on the desired point. The language is changed by holding your finger on the space bar, and then moving it in any direction. The Fn key provides access to the watch face, as well as standard buttons for computer keyboards: the F1-F12, Home, End, PageUp and PageDown key block and others. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to use the F1-F12 block, since they are simply not programmed for use in these applications (meaning the Gmail client). When entering the text shown in the screenshot, I made 3 mistakes, and that was only because I was not yet accustomed to the location of the buttons. I typed with both hands and did not feel any discomfort. The keyboard really stands out among others, and I hope you will share this little joy with me. Enjoy!

There is a non-standard button layout for mobile communication devices, and some buttons from the computer keyboard have also been added, such as “Ctrl”, “Shift”, “Alt”, F2”, “F10” and others. It is worth noting that this application is completely free, which allows users to enjoy the virtual keyboard at any time.

    Installation and use

Installing "Hacker"s Keyboard" is quite convenient and simple. After launching the program, you need to check the box next to this application in the device settings. After which the program must be selected as the main input method. It should be noted that "Hacker"s Keyboard" is different from other similar programs features wider functionality. There is a computer layout of keys, as well as corresponding punctuation marks, a separate number pad and much more. A keyboard like this will be very useful in certain applications that require such elements

    What is the game

It should be noted that “Hacker's Keyboard” supports more than twenty languages, which is very convenient for most users. This type of virtual keyboard is suitable for those users who are accustomed to the computer layout and do not want to get rid of it. Many users have already appreciated the advantages of this virtual keyboards, as evidenced by the number of downloads and numerous positive reviews.

Are you not used to the key layout from your computer? This keyboard has separate keys, punctuation marks in the usual places, and arrow keys. It is based on the AOSP Gingerbread virtual keyboard, so it supports multi-touch for modifier keys.

This keyboard is especially useful if you use ConnectBot for SSH access. This enables the Tab/Ctrl/Esc keys, and arrow keys to work on devices that don't have a trackball or D-Pad.
