• How to disassemble an Asus laptop battery: repairs without disastrous consequences. How best to disassemble the battery from a laptop

    In connection with the construction of a mobile power supply designed for charging and replenishing mobile devices, such as a player, smartphone or phone, there was a need for a powerful lithium-ion battery. Such batteries are widely used to power laptops and netbooks, but the price of just one new can can be as high as 10€.

    Where to get lithium-ion batteries for next to nothing?

    However, you can buy used laptop batteries almost for nothing. On our local radio market (Moldlva > Chisinau > str.Docuceaev) you can buy a whole battery for only 3$. When I found out about this, the thought even flashed through my mind that you can try to transfer the UPS (UPS) to lithium-ion traction after the original lead battery stops “holding” the load.

    The question may arise: what is the point of buying these batteries, if you know about their malfunction ...

    In laptop batteries, banks are connected in parallel and in series. At the same time, the battery charge / discharge controller constantly monitors the voltage on each parallel-connected group of cans. If the voltage deviates from the norm, the controller will turn off the entire battery. Due to the variation in the parameters of individual cans, this situation can also occur when the battery life is still far from complete. Therefore, very often in a battery that is recognized as unusable, some of the cans turn out to be quite efficient. I have been successfully exploiting such cans left after battery repair for more than a year. The fact is that when repairing such batteries, it was necessary to replace all the banks at once, which led to the formation of illiquid assets.

    How to disassemble a laptop battery?

    Batteries for laptops and netbooks are available in non-separable cases, but, nevertheless, such a case can be disassembled in just a few minutes.

    For disassembly, we need a regular construction knife with a replaceable blade and a washer of suitable thickness.

    We extend the blade from the handle to the minimum length and fix it. Then we put a washer on the blade of such a thickness that the part of the blade protruding above the washer is no more than 1.5-2 mm.

    We cut the seam between the halves of the battery case around the entire perimeter.

    In order for the banks to be securely fixed in the battery case, the manufacturer, usually before assembly, lubricates one (or both) of the halves of the case with non-drying glue, and inserts pieces of double-sided tape from the side of the other half. This can make disassembly somewhat difficult, even when the edges of the body halves are already separated from each other.

    But, a little patience, and we get access to the battery banks.

    An added bonus can become a thermocouple pos.1, with which the controller monitors the temperature of the battery, and a thermal fuse pos.3, which turns off the battery in case of electronics failure.

    In the picture you can also see the usual fuse pos. 2, which limits the maximum current of the battery.

    Before attempting to restore the battery life of a portable computer, you should determine the type of device. There are three of them: nickel-metal hydride, lithium-ion, lithium-polymer. Most often, laptops use the last two types. Their main disadvantage is fragility - only about 300 cycles of work. However, you can reanimate the device with your own hands at home ...

    First you need to disassemble the battery. This is not so easy to do - the parts of the battery are securely fastened. To work, you will need a sharp thin knife or scalpel. While pressing on the seam, carefully disassemble the device into parts. Try not to damage the "insides". Next, make sure the battery is completely discharged. To determine this, you need to resort to the help of car bulbs and a multimeter. Connect them to the battery. You can start repair work if the light sources are on. It is worth noting that the total voltage across the multimeter should be equal to the number of elements that are multiplied by 3.7 or more. In case the voltage on measuring device less than necessary, you will have to check each battery cell and replace damaged or defective parts as needed.

    All new elements and the remaining old ones must be completely discharged. Using the same bulbs, bring the voltage to 3.2 V in each battery cell. You carry out this operation in order for the updated laptop battery to start charging from zero. In this case, the charge level will be determined correctly.

    Among the malfunctions of a computer battery, one more is often found. The battery does not charge while the voltage on the contacts is 0. To fix the problem, you must again open the case, create serial circuit, including a 5W car light bulb and a laptop power supply. Bring the voltage of each of the battery cells to 3.4 V.

    Reassemble the battery. To properly glue the halves, you may need special glue.

    Put the battery back into the laptop and fully charge it. To ensure that your battery lasts as long as possible, follow the rules of operation.

    Asus laptop batteries are hardly of interest to anyone except inquisitive children. However, the idea to see what is inside the battery comes to the mind of even the most incurious adults, when the laptop began to suddenly turn off, and the battery itself hardly holds a charge. The desire to fix the battery yourself is especially aggravated when calibrating and removing foreign background programs did not give a result. Of course, you can immediately buy new battery but not always there is money for it. For those who are "on you" with electrical engineering, there is one interesting and budget option: try to disassemble and restore its capacity by replacing faulty batteries.

    There are two signs that it's time to restore the battery:

    1. Battery capacity lasts only 5-15 minutes battery life, although earlier it was at least 2-3 hours.
    2. The battery generally stopped holding a charge and as soon as the laptop is disconnected from the network, it turns off completely.

    Does the situation exactly match yours? This means that the problem is really serious and it is time to deal with it. Before proceeding with the analysis Asus batteries, it makes sense to find out how it works - this will significantly increase the chances of a successful repair.

    Asus laptop battery "stuffing"

    A laptop battery or battery is the main element that distinguishes a laptop from desktop computer and allows you to use the gadget offline. The accumulator represents the plastic case in which from 4 to 12 batteries are located in pairs. They look like finger batteries, only more. Another mandatory element of the battery is the controller board, which is responsible for the battery charge algorithm.

    In principle, the batteries of all Acer laptops have a similar “structure”, but there are a number of models that differ from the rest - these are laptop batteries, and. They have their own characteristics, which we will talk about in one of the following articles.

    We start to conjure, or the process of parsing an Asus battery

    In order not to be distracted in the process, prepare everything you need before starting the repair:

    • multimeter (tester) with which you will measure the voltage on each battery;
    • a knife or flat screwdriver, which is convenient to disconnect the battery case;
    • new batteries. You can buy them both in a radio engineering store and on the Internet. The nominal capacity of the batteries is indicated in the user manual for your Asus laptop or on the battery itself;
    • tool for soldering batteries;
    • car light bulb for discharging elements;
    • glue for connecting the plastic parts of the battery.

    Now you can start "opening" the battery and replacing the batteries:

    1. Fully drain your battery Asus laptop and take it out.
    2. Place the battery on a flat surface. Insert a knife (screwdriver) into the longitudinal seam on the side of the battery, separate the part into two parts. Be careful: the knife blade should not go deeper than 2-3 mm, otherwise the batteries may be damaged.
    3. It is better to take a picture of the location of the batteries - the picture will come in handy during the assembly process.
    4. "Ring" each element with a multimeter. Normally, the voltage should be in the range of 3.7-4.1 volts. If any "batteries" have a lower voltage, they need to be replaced.
    5. Before putting the batteries in the circuit, discharge them with a car light bulb. This is necessary so that all "banks" have the same potential and are charged evenly.
    6. Connect the batteries in order from ground to positive. The picture taken earlier will help you assemble the chain correctly.
    7. After soldering all the elements, glue the parts of the case along the seam with glue and connect them. Wait for the glue to dry, insert the battery into your Asus laptop and put it on full charge.

    Have you read the instructions and are ready to get down to business? Good luck! If now you understand that this option is not suitable, it's time to buy a new battery for your Asus laptop. It is desirable to choose the original version for your laptop model, then there will definitely not be any problems with charging. However, licensed compatible analogues will be able to please stable job for a lower price. Repair or buy a new battery - it's up to you, and we wish your laptop many years of work!

    Only if it is assumed that the controller board is working, it makes sense to repair the laptop battery with your own hands. If the controller is faulty or has already blocked, then to repair such a battery, programming of the controller will be required, and this is cheaper to do in a specialized workshop, since programming one battery will not pay off the cost of the programmer and the program. It is clear that you first need to remove the battery from the laptop. Next, you need to divide the plastic case into two halves and carefully remove the battery of elements with the controller board. For me, this stage was the most difficult and required non-trivial solutions. I have used the following methods:

    • To crunch the battery - twist it in your hands, twisting it diagonally in one direction, then in the other. This action can help the body halves come apart.
    • Inserting plastic card(pick or plastic spatula) between the halves of the body, try to push them apart. The main thing is to find a place where you can squeeze the card into the slot, and then go further and further along the office.
    • In the corners of the case, the rigidity of the card may not be enough and then you can use a flat screwdriver, the main thing is to act carefully when separating the halves, because if the screwdriver comes off, you can damage your hand, the controller board or the battery cell.

    As I already wrote, disassembling a laptop battery is often non-trivial and may require experience and ingenuity. For example, before starting to practice myself, I watched several videos on youtube with disassembly of various laptop batteries. The more carefully you can disassemble the battery, the easier it will be to put it back together later. The second step is simpler, but requires care: you need to determine the connection diagram of the battery cells and the connection to the controller board. It is best to take a photo of the assembly and draw wiring diagram connections, put down the polarity of the connection of the elements. In the case of a Toshiba battery, the cell combination scheme is designated as 2P3S, that is, two cells in parallel and three such blocks in series. Next, using a voltmeter, we confirm our circuit. First you need to determine the common point, usually on the controller board it is designated as 0V or GND, relative to it we measure the remaining voltages at the points where the assembly is connected to the controller board and record the readings on the diagram. At all points relative to zero, positive voltages should be obtained; if this is not the case, then most likely there was an error in choosing a common wire. And you need to find the point with the lowest potential. Next, we check the serial increase in voltage on each series-connected block of elements. This increase must be positive.

    Already on this stage Based on the voltages on the elements, one can make some assumptions about the state of the elements, for example, the imbalance of voltages on the blocks of elements. In the next photo you can see two thermal sensors glued to the elements with tape.

    Attention!!! while the controller board is connected to the cells, the cells cannot be charged or discharged by external sources, only voltage can be measured. With your experiments with the controller, you can block it or disable it altogether. Attention!!! it is necessary to disconnect the controller from the assembly of elements in a strictly defined way, otherwise it will be blocked. First you need to solder the wire (or bus) that has highest voltage, that is, the positive contact of the battery cell that is farthest from zero. Then the wire with maximum voltage of the remaining and so repeat until the last wire. Now you can move the controller and circuit away so as not to damage or lose it. But the battery cells can now be tortured in order to better understand what happened to the battery.

    What is the best way to disassemble a laptop battery?

    Readers of the site often ask questions about how to disassemble a laptop battery. In principle, this procedure is simple, and you can easily do it yourself. However, due to the low maintainability of most batteries laptops, their owners often face problems when disassembling. Therefore, it was decided to write this small manual for disassembling a laptop battery.

    Why would you need to disassemble the battery?

    For example, repairing a laptop battery. It consists in replacing lithium cans with new ones. The cells used are 18650 lithium cells. This process is often referred to as battery repacking. This saves on purchasing new battery for laptop. True, the savings are not significant, since it is lithium battery cells that make the main contribution to the cost.

    However, such repairs may be useful if you have old laptop, to which manufacturers no longer produce batteries. If you do not want to part with your assistant, then repacking will help. After all, 18650 batteries, unlike assembled batteries, have a single standard, and you can buy new replacements without any problems.

    And also disassembling the battery may be required for those involved in radio electronics. These lithium batteries can be used as power supplies in various schemes. Someone may ask a reasonable question: “After all, the batteries are exhausted. What are they needed for?".

    In laptop batteries, lithium cells are combined into parallel assemblies, which, in turn, are connected in series. The charge controller monitors the characteristics of all cans, and if they deviate from the permissible values, it can block the operation of the entire battery. Often a situation arises that, due to a significant variation in characteristics, some elements of a non-working battery still remain operational. Therefore, the battery can be disassembled and their resource can be used.

    Laptop battery controller, also called BMS board

    Many users ask how to disassemble laptop battery to use 18650 lithium cells in flashlights, power bank, as well as as power sources in various "handicrafts". Now, let's go directly to the disassembly process itself.

    Disassembly of the laptop battery

    As already mentioned, the batteries of most laptop manufacturers are not suitable for repair. Exceptions include only some Samsung models, in which the battery case closes with latches. In all other cases, you will have to deal with glued cases.

    To disassemble such batteries, I advise you to start with a clerical knife along the seam. It has a thin blade that penetrates well inside. At the same time, do not be zealous by thrusting the knife deep. Otherwise, you can close something or damage inside. On the Internet, you can find recommendations for preheating the seam with a hot air gun, but you can do without it. If you are warming up, then watch the temperature. For lithium batteries heating is contraindicated.

    After you have walked along the seam with a knife, begin to bend the case cover with some object of greater thickness. For example, a screwdriver. It is better, of course, to use something made of plastic. As you bend the lid, put something in the spacer. When the battery is opened, you will see an assembly of several elements and a BMS board. Most laptops have 4, 6, 8 18650 cells installed. Less often, 2, 12. The photo below shows the disassembly process.

    We pry off the cover We put spacers Opened battery

    Next, you need to unsolder or bite off the wires coming from the assembly to the controller. There are soldered plus and minus assemblies, balancing points. In addition, a thermocouple is glued to the body of one of the elements. According to her testimony, the battery is turned off when the elements overheat.

    The insides of a laptop battery

    After unsoldering the elements, you need to disconnect them. This problem can be solved by cutting through the connections with wire cutters. The cells in the battery are interconnected by spot welding. For this, steel tape is used.

    Connection of elements in a laptop battery

    You can simply tear it off the battery, but it is better to leave it for later use. It will be possible to solder wires to these pieces of tape if necessary.

    You just have to determine which elements have worked out their resource, and those that can still be used. This can be done by measuring their capacity with a universal charger. How to disassemble a laptop battery: we fix it wisely

    What is a battery?

    Before picking up piercing and cutting objects, you should find out what you have to deal with: a battery is a monoblock that includes several individual elements connected in series and in parallel.

    Over time, battery capacity decreases. This is due to the chemical reactions taking place inside the elements (cans) - there life is in full swing! Even if the battery is not connected to the device, the processes do not stop.

    It is for this reason that you should pay attention to the date of manufacture of the battery (just like when buying perishable products).

    Although in the case of batteries, their useful life is measured not in days and weeks, but in years. The battery loses up to 10% capacity per year. But the aging of each individual element proceeds differently. It is reasonable to assume that the operation "Autopsy" is carried out precisely because of these elements.

    Why do elements fly?

    This happens for several reasons:

    • Overheating, as a result of which the fuse worked;
    • Accelerated wear of individual elements;
    • Error of the controller, which "does not see" some of the cans;

    It is enough to start one "black sheep" in a set of elements, as the overall battery efficiency drops. But what is their value if the battery is dead?

    Well, how much he died / did not die - an autopsy will show. Could it still be brought back to life? In a word, away from all torment and - to the cause!

    "... scalpel... scissors... swab!"

    This is a joke, of course. Surgical instruments will not be useful, but a mounting knife is just right. Not all batteries are collapsible, more precisely - mostly non-collapsible. Let's consider this case.

    Opening

    The case of a monoblock battery consists of two halves, connected at the factory by hot pressing. You need to cut along the junction. For convenience, you can heat the tip of the blade and it will go like clockwork. The penetration depth should not exceed 1.5-2 mm, so as not to inadvertently damage the elements. Therefore, it is better not to rush.

    A little patience, and you will be rewarded - the chest will open like an oyster shell, and “33 heroes” in a film, lying in strict order, will appear before your eyes. In fact, there will be fewer elements - from 6 cylindrical cans.

    Checking the elements

    If average temperature known from the hospital, i.e. you know for sure that the battery is dead, now you need to find out the well-being of each patient - the performance of each battery element. For this you need a multimeter. How to use it, I will not explain: since you have gone into all serious trouble, then such things should be known to you.

    First, you should take measurements bypassing the controller: if the readings equal or exceed 3.7 times the number of cans, then the problem is in the controller. By the way, so as not to forget: before opening the battery of your laptop, make sure that you are in order with the power supply. If anything, here's where you can find an adapter for most laptop models.

    The controller is responsible for the process of charging and discharging, avoiding overloads. If with elements order, and in general, the battery “does not hold”, then the point is in the controller - it simply “does not see” the elements.

    In this case, there is an option to flash the controller (if there is no mechanical damage, of course). But this requires special equipment. In "home" conditions, this operation cannot be carried out. But you can be glad that the banks are intact. Below I will tell you what you can do with them.

    In cases where the controller is in order, when each element is “ringed out” separately, suitable banks are identified, and unusable ones are discarded.

    And what if you replace all the banks and restore the battery?

    Good idea- replace non-working banks with new ones and return the battery to life. But! - indicators of new elements should be identical. How to achieve this if the old ones have wear and tear? Only with the help of special equipment. Or replace all banks.

    Replacing cans is a painstaking procedure that requires skill. It is not always possible to solder elements with high quality, and equipment is required for spot welding. It is still possible that the controller will need to be flashed for new elements.

    But now, as promised, I will tell you about useful little things that can be made from used cans.

    The practical benefits of opening the battery

    Since you have done this work, you need to extract practical benefit from this. After all, you didn’t do this for the magazine “I Want to Know Everything”?

    Each element (bank) in the laptop battery is a lithium battery. Their capacity is not enough to "pull" the laptop. But each element separately, even in the presence of wear, copes well with low-power equipment. For example:

    • Flashlight or lamp for tourism and fishing;
    • Autonomous flashlight for the cottage or entrance;
    • Headlight on a bicycle.

    And many, many useful "chips". You can even arrange a contest of ideas on the use of used batteries. It remains only to choose the jury.

    logmag.net

    Most effective method capacitance measurement is to connect the consumer to the source and measure how long the lithium battery will be discharged to the minimum allowable voltage. But you can go simpler and accessible method- take advantage special utilities for laptop batteries. One of the best programs is BatteryMon. Now I will not describe in detail the capabilities of this program, you can easily find this information on the manufacturer's website.
    And so, having read the information from the CGR-B / 6H5 laptop battery controller with the BatteryMon program, I found out that the capacity of my battery is 100-200 mAh instead of the nominal 4400 mAh - it is for this reason that the laptop works autonomously for no more than 2 minutes, and also charges up to 100% in such a short time

    I also want to note that the state of the capacity of a lithium battery can be determined visually, provided that Charger properly. The fact is that the lower the battery capacity becomes, the faster the charging will proceed - this applies to all lithium batteries.

    The second life of a lithium laptop battery

    After I already knew for sure that the capacity of my battery was completely exhausted, I began to decide what to do next. There were several options: the first is to buy a new one (which is very expensive), the second is to replace all the elements with new ones (this is also expensive, plus you need to reflash the controller) and the third option is to use only from the network. I chose the third option because I don't use this laptop standalone anyway, and there is a netbook for standalone. But in order not to waste good, I decided to finally disassemble the battery to see what condition each battery is in.

    The battery consists of three pairs connected in series, consisting of two lithium batteries connected in parallel. Thus, from six cells with a capacity of 2200 mAh and a voltage of 3.7 V each, we get a battery with a nominal voltage of 11.1 V and a capacity of 4400 mAh

    Despite the fact that the battery assembly no longer pulls the work of a laptop, nevertheless, individually or in pairs, the batteries do an excellent job with low-power tasks. Suppose the capacity of each element has decreased from 2200 to 700-1000 mAh, then we get at parallel connection two elements power supply voltage 3.7-4.2 volts and a capacity of 1500-2000 mAh. Let me remind you that, for example, the battery capacity in mobile phone or communicator is 700-1300 mAh i.e. our old cells are enough to be used in less powerful devices than a laptop Batteries of the widespread 18650 size, so it will not be difficult to purchase as chargers specifically for such batteries, as well as directly from the consumers themselves - for example, ultra-bright flashlights that work on a single cell 18650

    It is very convenient to make capacious drives from 18650 elements, which are so necessary for tourists. Personally, I use two lithium cells connected in parallel from an old laptop battery to power GPS navigator, large outboard led lamp, bicycle lighting, etc. I use single elements in powerful flashlight.

    To recharge your Li-ion batteries I bought a charger for 18650 cells, and I modified the charger by adding two additional connectors on the sides to charge my parallel connected non-separable cells, which are connected to consumers with a 3.5 mm stereo jack plug.

    To avoid many of the troubles associated with the failure or premature loss of capacity of lithium batteries, you must remember the following. If you don't want your laptop battery capacity to drop to zero like in my story, you can, if not completely save the capacity, then at least save as much as possible by following simple rules. If you do not plan to use the laptop offline and you always have it on charge, then charge the battery up to 50-60%, remove it from the laptop, put it in a plastic bag and store it in a cool dark place. This way you save as much capacity as possible. At the same time, do not forget to connect the battery to the laptop every 6 months and complete a full cycle - charge the discharge, then everything is the same as before - we put the battery charged up to 50-60% in a dark cool place

    Do not allow lithium batteries to become very cold or hot. Lithium cells are very sensitive to ambient temperature and, if the permissible conditions are not observed, they also quickly lose their capacity.

    Do not allow deep discharge of batteries in any case - this will have a detrimental effect on your lithium cells. Do not wait until the laptop turns off by itself or will signal a low charge, if the level drops to 10-15%, you should already do a full charge

    Also, under no circumstances should you short circuit or mechanical damage - this may result in a chemical reaction with the release of a flame, which may cause a fire

    xn----gtbdmohbpajtp0j4b.xn--p1ai

    The built-in battery allows the laptop to work autonomously for about 3-4 hours. The battery often serves well for no more than three or four years, but sometimes problems begin much earlier. Battery failure significantly affects the performance of the laptop. The first sign of a malfunction is an alert from the operating system recommending a battery replacement. The message appears when the battery capacity is already quite reduced, and it cannot work fully.

    "Composition" of the battery on a laptop

    It is logical to start with the "composition" of the battery on this portable device.

    The battery is from four to eight rechargeable cells placed and soldered in the case. This often leads to the false conclusion that replacing the battery on a laptop is the only way out of the situation in case of a malfunction and defective operation of the device, performance can be restored in other ways.

    The battery is powered by built-in batteries bigger size than finger, they differ from finger and capacity. Thanks to such elements, it is possible to restore the battery by replacing defective batteries with new ones.

    The main element of the battery is a microcircuit or microcontroller. This element is responsible for the operation of the battery, and also displays all the characteristics on the screen (state of charge, battery temperature, and so on).

    Possible causes of malfunctions

    To date, laptops use lithium-ion and nickel-metal hydride batteries. These types of batteries have replaced nickel-cadmium batteries due to their higher capacity and the absence of the so-called memory effect.
    Lithium-ion batteries deteriorate quite often and relatively easily - they do not tolerate strong heat or cold, and you also need to be careful with charging. If the battery is over-discharged, it may fail. Also, do not charge it for too long - this can also affect performance. Another reason that can easily ruin a battery is non-use. If the battery is in the laptop case, but the computer is running on mains, or if the laptop has simply not been used for a long time, the battery often cannot please with the same activity.

    A short circuit can even provoke an explosion. That is why a microcontroller is needed, which regulates the operation of all elements, and also protects against possible emergencies.

    However, if the battery still holds a charge much worse, if before you could use the computer in offline about 2 hours, and now the battery usage time is barely up to thirty minutes, and the system gives already familiar messages, something should be done.

    Laptop battery repair

    1. Calibration. Repairs can be made by calibration, which is performed by programs from the manufacturer. The task of this operation is to eliminate inconsistencies in the operation of the microcontroller and the battery power supply. Quite often, the battery capacity is instantly reduced to 30%, and this method allows you to return to working capacity;
    2. Recovery. Elements that no longer function are removed and replaced, then soldered into an electrical circuit;
    3. It is necessary to reprogram the device with further calibration. Thus, you can return the battery to service;
    4. Replacement. If the calibration and recovery do not work, then you can not do without replacing the battery.

    Battery disassembly algorithm on a laptop

    1. We completely discharge the battery, after which we remove it;
    2. Open the battery cover. To do this, you need to know how to disassemble the battery on a laptop. You will need a thin knife blade and a small hammer. We lightly tap the battery case along the edges and shallowly insert the knife into the plastic of the cover. We do everything carefully so as not to get hurt. We carry out the operation two or three times, until the case cracks, then we divide it into two parts. Take your time and remember to be careful. If you overdo it and do not calculate the force, you can damage the case and the batteries that are inside. Lithium batteries contain elements harmful to health. If you stick the blade too deep, you can easily damage the controller and other elements. In this case, the repair is not worth continuing, you can immediately save money for a new battery;
    3. The board on the left monitors the actions of the battery, this important device with a microcontroller and memory elements that store information about the operation of the device, charge cycles, as well as other battery elements, they are on the right. Do not rush to detach these particles from general scheme. First you need to measure the voltage level on each element. On one pair, the voltage, for example, can be 1.2 volts, and on the rest - 3.3;
    4. We select elements for replacement and prepare them for installation. Remember the main rule: all elements must have the same capacity and type, it's great if all particles are from the same batch. We recommend taking a few items in reserve;
    All elements must be of the same resistance. You need to install them only discharged, about 3.6 V.

    Often products are sold charged. Then you should use a 5-10 ohm resistor. We discharge the elements all together, connecting them in parallel (“+” to “+”, “-” to “-”).

    We note right away why it is extremely undesirable to install charged elements. If you insert charged cells, the device will attempt to charge the cells. If the charge does not go (and it will not go, because there is nowhere else), then the system will perceive the elements as inoperable or continue charging, which can lead to quite serious consequences - failure of the laptop or even fire.

    1. If the preparation is completed, you can proceed with the installation of new elements;
    We perform the replacement in the following order: first we remove unnecessary elements (you need to start from the larger “+” to the smaller). New elements are placed in the reverse order - we install the element that is on the right, and first the “earth”, then “+”, then insert the following particles in turn. Next, you need to check the quality of the work performed and soldering.
    1. Now you also need to carefully return the case to the initial state, replace the covers, then insert the battery into your laptop. We connect an external power supply, we charge.

    Attention! Do not leave the device unattended when charging for the first time. Monitor the temperature of the charging battery to prevent overheating. If you notice any problems, immediately turn off the power and remove the battery from the computer.

    After the completion of the charging procedure, we check the performance of the battery. Battery life should improve significantly - by an hour and a half on average.

    If everything went well, the performance of the device has been increased - congratulations on the end of the work!

    Here are some tips for using the battery on a laptop in order to extend its performance.

    1. If the laptop is often powered by external source supply, it is best to remove the battery and store separately in a cool place. But do not forget to "drive" the battery. At least a few times a month, it is necessary to fully discharge and charge the battery. Otherwise, do not be surprised if after a break in use it refuses to work;
    2. The display consumes a lot of charge, so if you want to increase the battery life of the laptop, reduce the brightness to the optimum;
    3. Wireless networks also have a big impact on battery life. It is advisable to turn off Wi-Fi when not in use. If possible, use wired channels;
    4. We recommend that you use notebook workflows to conserve power. OS already include designed circuits to save power. This will also help increase battery life.
