• What to do if the app store does not load. If you can't connect to the iTunes Store, iBooks Store, or App Store

Once upon a time, I wrote an article. Today I spent more global work. For several hours in a row (about 8-9) I collected and systematized iTunes errors and their solutions into a separate pivot table. To do this, I checked several sites at once that had already collected these errors, and also clarified the information on almost every error on English-language blogs. The result is an impressive table that contains all the errors found that arise when working with iTunes.

On website in this article I post the table itself, which has three columns: error, reason, solution. Below the table I place PDF file, which contains the 4th column - links. For some errors (20 percent), Apple has quite clear instructions in Russian.

Among other things, I provide a couple of useful links to solving the most common errors. Instructions in Russian.

Troubleshooting errors in updating and restoring device data in iTunes http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1275?viewlocale=ru_RU - this manual explains in general terms what to do if an unknown error occurs. For ordinary users You can start with these steps.

    • Update iTunes
    • Update your operating system
    • Check your security software on your computer (temporarily disable antivirus software)
    • Unplug everything additional devices USB
    • Restart your iPad (iPhone, iPod)
    • Try updating or restoring again

For many, this should be enough to solve the problem.

Troubleshooting certain update and recovery errors http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3694?viewlocale=ru_RU. The second article covers a wide range of errors. I recommend you read it if you experience one of the following errors:

    • Troubleshooting communication problems (3014, 3194, 3000-3999)
    • Security software setup (2, 4, 6, 9, 1000, 1611, 9006, 9807, 9844)
    • Checking USB connections (13, 14, 1600-1629, 1643-1650, 2000-2009, 4000-4016)
    • Checking hardware for problems (1, 10-47, 1000-1020)

If neither the first nor the second article helped, then you can go to the table (you can start with the table).

Any Iphone owner or another Apple mobile device may encounter this problem. Here, as in the joke about aliens, the chance is 50 to 50. It can occur in any user at any time, regardless of generation or type of device. It can occur on any Macintosh product. If an error occurs on a mobile device, do not worry, much less do a full reset. Even if you first save important data, after this operation you will have to reinstall all third-party applications again, and this will not solve the problem. So, let's start breathing more evenly and read on? The error may look like the message “Connection to the App Store failed,” or the “Unable to connect to the App Store” window. Some Icloud suffer from the same disease. iTunes and Image.

Why does the connection to the App Store fail?

Usually the problem occurs when you try to download a new application or update an already installed one. There are several possible scenarios for its occurrence, and in most cases the cause lies in a failure on the device itself.

    For example:

    • The date and time are incorrectly configured. It is important that the correct time zone is specified.
    • The device serial number is hidden. The “About device” data must contain serial number. At hidden number serial device, or displaying the OS X version or build number instead, the server will simply refuse authentication to the device. After updating the operating system, just such a replacement of numbers may occur.
    • Incorrect network settings. When connecting via Wi-Fi access some or even all resources may be limited. The network administrator may have changed the settings, or Wi-Fi access is limited to only a few allowed servers or domains. In general, there must be Internet!
    • Invalid or expired certificates for the device. With an expired security certificate, the server will refuse to allow the device through. This point applies primarily to desktop computers. It can be treated by deleting crlcache.db and ocspcache.db from the folder with certificates /var/db/crls/ and then rebooting the system. There are options for setting up certificates and modifying the Keychain containing passwords and certificates manually, but, firstly, the user may not have enough privileges to modify the certificates, and then you will have to reinstall OS X, and secondly, there are simpler solutions. For example, calling Apple support.

What to do if the connection to the App Store fails on your mobile device

The first step is to check if the Internet is available. Perhaps the router needs to be restarted, or maybe mobile traffic ended. If there is internet, then something is wrong with the settings in the device.

There is a fairly simple method available to any iPhone or iPad user. It allows you not to spend a long time delving into the settings and solves the problem in most cases. This method consists of two stages:

    • Log out of your Apple ID in the device settings.
    • We go back to our Apple ID.

To be sure, you can reboot the device between these two stages. Everything is ready! No reinstallations, no settings, you can go to the App Store.

    Can't connect to iTunes store

The error message may look very different, but ultimately the situation is the same. For mobile device users, the solution is the same - check if the Internet is available, re-login to your ID.

I can't connect to iTunes via Apple TV. Here everything is somewhat more complicated. We check the availability of the Internet, updates for TV and date settings. We correct errors manually and get access to iTunes. If you can’t log in through a Macbook or desktop Mac, you should pay attention to several points in addition to those listed above:

    • Make sure your computer has the latest Safari versions and iTunes.
    • If a firewall is activated on the system, make sure that it allows connecting to iTunes. This, of course, applies when logging into this system for the first time, or if the firewall has recently been installed (activated).

If the problem occurs when you try to access iTunes via a PC, then check again whether it responds to technical support. iTunes requirements, update the OS to the latest version, do not use the proxies built into the system to connect to iTunes.

In addition to this, other problems may arise. The most common is conflict between iTunes and software that monitors traffic on a computer. It may look like “Blank” iTunes or be accompanied by a message with the number 0x80090318. This means that some software components your PC uses LSP technology. In a sense, this message may even be good sign. Perhaps the firewall is again to blame, or perhaps Apple has just discovered a Trojan on your system. In the first case, we solve the issue with firewall permissions, and in the second, we urgently need to clean the system.

Perhaps these are all cases when there may be a problem connecting to the App Store. In most of them, the refusal is accompanied by a more or less informative message, and in the vast majority, regardless of the content of this message, re-logging into the Apple ID will solve the problem. The main thing is not to fuss, but to check everything in order if a problem arises. Otherwise, rash actions can lead to much worse results. The likelihood of this and other problems occurring is reduced by preventative measures. Keep the software on your devices updated to the latest versions whenever possible, and use a reliable antivirus.

Many owners of such modern devices, like an iPod, iPad or iPhone, in the process of installing any applications from the App Store, a message pops up saying that it cannot connect to the iTunes Store, which makes it impossible to download, update and install the desired application.

Currently, no one knows exactly why this problem occurs. Naturally, if you discover this problem in yourself, you immediately begin to ask questions related to how to connect to iTunes. But still there are craftsmen who managed to solve this problem.

    The essence of the problem

Initial conditions - use iPad tablet third generation, Wi-Fi version with 32 GB of internal memory. Connect to the Internet using D-Link router DIR-300. No deviations in the operation of the tablet itself were noticed. After updating the version and trying to download free applications, the phrase pops up that it is impossible to connect to the iTunes Store. Despite all this, no one blocked access to the store Apps Store, that is, you can view annotations for applications, etc. All sorts of attempts to reboot the tablet, etc. didn't help. The most interesting thing is that even applications located in the cloud service are not installed Apple iCloud previously saved there. And if you go from your personal computer to the latest version of the iTunes application, you can make sure that everything is in order. That is, on desktop computer Everything is fine with us, but the tablet gives an error. This means that the problem is with the tablet or its update. It is worth noting that the tablet was not jailbroken.

Let's try to look at two methods to solve this issue.

    App Store Settings

    • First you need to go to the App Store.
    • We find the Featured section, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Apple ID parameter - this is a parameter that contains all the data for our login in the application store. Next, a window will pop up where you need to select Sigh Out.
    • Again, go to the Featured section and enter all of our App Store credentials again. If you have an associated credit card, then you must enter all the information on it.
    • In case the above steps did not help and you still wondering, why it doesn’t connect to iTunes, then just try restarting the device. To do this, click on the Sleep/Wake button located at the top right of the tablet. After pressing this button, an arrow with the word Turn off will appear at the top of the screen. Next, simply turn off the device by pressing the Sleep/Wake button again.

    Changing your time zone

    • You need to go to Settings
    • Then find the General section and go there
    • Next, look for the Date and Time tab.
    • Here you should disable the Automatically option
    • It is necessary to set the year 2038 in the Time zone section. Here you need to be careful that the year parameters set are active. This is determined by the color of the numbers and date. You also need to change the name of your city to any other.
    • Next, we leave everything as is and go to the application store. Go to the Updates section, where you will probably see a message that you cannot connect to the iTunes Store. You can see the same inscription by going to the Featured section, but now, most likely, you won’t even be able to get into the application store.
    • Next, you just need to return all changed settings to their original state.
    • Then just go to the application store again to check if you entered everything correctly.

And now the long-awaited moment comes. Go again to the App Store, but you will again be disappointed, because again the problem is that the iPhone does not connect to iTunes, in fact, the same as on the iPad and iPod. But you shouldn’t immediately give in to panic and hysteria; it’s better to just wait a little time. In this case, you can continue to work on the tablet, or leave it completely alone.

And after some time, having already forgotten about your torment with installing the application, preferably after a few hours, you can try again. To do this, go to the App Store again and select any free application, you will immediately notice that the system no longer writes - the iPad does not connect to iTunes, but simply asks you to enter our account password for the application store again. Don't be alarmed, everything is fine. Next, you just need to enter your password and calmly download the application you need. Try again and you will succeed again.

It should be noted that it is still not clear what exactly led to the positive result, since there were attempts to set 2013 and 2014 instead of 2038. Also, the cities were changed to different continents more than once. There were attempts to disconnect from the router and even turn off Wi-Fi. But in the end, the result was still obtained. And the window with ominous words can’t connect to the iTunes Store, didn’t appear anymore, but that’s all required applications successfully installed on an iPad tablet. This means that you can achieve the desired results using various methods.

When Apple's engineers and programmers take a well-deserved vacation, PR and marketing specialists drive progress. I was unable to find any other justification for the frequent appearance of various flaws in the operation of “fruit” OSes. Moreover, the claims are sometimes true for both desktop and mobile systems. This time we will talk about ways to eliminate them in relation to iTunes and the App Store.

Let someone who has never encountered the annoying “Can’t connect to the iTunes Store” notification throw an iPhone at me. This signature tends to appear at any time, being completely unrelated to connection problems. In any case, getting rid of it is much easier than you thought.

Despite the obvious software nature of the problem, we strongly recommend that you make sure that your personal account is topped up and that your Wi-Fi router is operating normally. After making sure that everything is in order with the Internet, go to “Settings” - “General” - “Date and time”, where you set the time to automatically adjust. IN lately iOS is clearly dependent on the owner's punctuality.

The relevance of the firmware plays no less a role in stable work iOS and its services than a high-quality Internet connection or time zones. The gurus from Cupertino tirelessly tell us about this, literally imposing the next update that “corrects all (!) errors.” Of course, we won’t play believe it or not, but you should still install the latest version of iOS. Keep an eye on this in the "Settings" - "General" - "Software Update" application.

If everything is in order here, the main reason for blocking access to iTunes and the App Store may be an artificial restriction imposed by the operation of the VPN service. Go to “Settings” and, counting the sixth line from the left with the mark of the same name, move the activation slider to the “off” position. Valid only for devices with an LTE module.

However, it happens that iTunes and the App Store do not work due to objective reasons. This is possible during preventive maintenance. In order to check the status of the company’s servers, just visit special page on the official website. There you will get everything necessary information about the activity or inactivity of the desired service.

P.S. If all of the above does not help, an emergency reboot is our everything.

If you still don't know, how to authorize iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and fully use one of the listed devices, then today’s post will help you complete this simple procedure. Although probably some novice users are not familiar with the term “authorization”. Therefore, I propose to find out what authorization is and why users need it iPhone phone, iPad tablet and iPod touch player.

Authorization is logging into your account by entering your username and password; this login to your account is necessary in order to. Where can I get this treasured login and password to install programs and games on my gadget? It’s simple, you need to register an Apple ID account or also called an iTunes account. The account registration procedure can be performed in three ways:

If you already have a registered account, then using the login and password from the account you can authorize your iPhone or iPad, the email address is used as the login, and you come up with it during registration.

      1. In order to authorize an iPhone without a computer, you can go to the “Settings” of the phone and select the Store section.
      2. Click the “Login” button (in newer versions of iOS this section may look a little different)
