    Step 3: Set up BlueStacks

    Immediately after launching BlueStax, you will be asked to configure it by connecting your Google account to it. In addition, it is recommended to adjust the performance of the emulator to the capabilities of your PC. This is discussed in more detail in our other article.

    How to download

    To download, you must visit the official website of the developers. On the portal you will find all the latest information regarding the emulator, its updates and innovations. To start downloading, click on the "Download Bluestacks" button in the center of the page. The installer size will be at least 200 MB depending on the program version. After this, you can install Bluestacks using a convenient installation wizard.

    How to install

    Run the downloaded file to open the emulator installer window. On the first screen you need to confirm license agreement and click on the "Continue" button.

    Next, the installer prompts you to select a directory for the program. By default, the application is installed on the system hard section disk in Program folder Files.     Upon completion of installation, the emulator will launch in full screen mode (Fig. 5), and the built-in Android OS will be initialized and configured (Fig. 6).     DPI is responsible for the number of pixels per inch. That is, the higher this number, the clearer and more detailed the image. However, this will require increased resource consumption, so it is recommended to activate the value "Low", if you experience problems with rendering and performance.

    Engine

    The choice of engine, DirectX or OpenGL, depends on your needs and compatibility with specific applications. The best would be OpenGL, using a video card driver that is usually more powerful than DirectX. You should switch to this option if a game crashes or other specific problems.
