    To test this statement, we conducted an experiment. Having collected keywords from our current projects that have been in the TOP-3 of Yandex search results for more than 20 days in a row, we compared traffic to the site from these words/phrase with their Wordstat frequency.

    Many people believe that Wordstat alone is enough to collect the search core of queries. You can rely on this indicator, but with some reservations. Do not forget that very often words with a minimum frequency remain competitive in search results and can bring search traffic. If the request frequency is zero, this does not mean that users are not looking for it. The opposite is also true - words with high frequency does not necessarily have high traffic potential (we were able to verify this during our first experiment). This is what we decided to check by collecting traffic for a month from words with zero Wordstat frequency in the Moscow region. As a result, we received the following data:
