• Apple iPhone 6s plus difference from

World of technology Apple does not stand still, developing and applying the latest inventions of science and technology at a faster pace in its devices, allowing the user to be the first to use digital qualities in your smartphones, tablets, enjoy the build quality, video shooting, photography, and advanced technologies implemented. Will we be able to appreciate everything that the company gives us with each new device: high-tech work, high-quality coverage, safety, speed, the ability to carry out several tasks in one minute.

Many people do not see the difference between the iPhone 6 Plus and the comparison with the iPhone 6S Plus. What difference in characteristics does one or the other model contain? To dispel all the rumors, let's try to understand the intricacies and reveal all the secrets.

In principle, the iPhone 6 Plus model performed quite well in various tests; the productive iOS 9 did not leave skeptics indifferent: compact, stylish, with good memory and flagship technologies. What difference is there in Plus models iPhone 6S, which is worth spending a considerable amount of money for.

External data iPhone 6 Plus vs iPhone 6S Plus

If you pay attention to the external data, then in terms of dimensions they do not differ in any way, except that latest iPhone The 6S has become a little thick and heavy. The iPhone six plus weighs 192 grams and is 7.3 mm thick.

Now the new flagship 6S plus, in addition to the recommended white and black, is additionally presented in the following colors: gray space, silver, gold and unsurpassed - rose gold. The black color gives the iPhone a more monolithic look, as the camera lenses are practically invisible.

The aluminum anodized monoblock body of the two competitors is still sleek and impeccable in terms of build quality. However, the latter pleased with its less slippery surface, allowing you to hold the iPhone with one hand without worrying. I think this time new iPhone covered with a thicker layer of anode. Although many are accustomed to immediately putting their iPhone in a case, so they don’t pay too much attention to the surface. You need to understand that the white stripes on the body are not only a stylish design, but also protection for better communication and antenna operation.

6 Plus ensured that the case was of normal strength; bending it is not so easy. Its successor, the 6S Plus, also barely bends.

The outer panel is equipped with an oleophobic coating, which is designed to protect the body from greasy fingerprints and small dust particles, so compared to the first flagship, the sensations are unique and easy gliding is ensured.

As for the display of iPhones, there are also no big differences. Is it possible that the screen of the 6S plus is lighter compared to the 6 plus when looking at colors. This is also understandable, since the light sensor built into the panel adapts more easily to changes external sources Sveta.

The sound sensations of both devices are excellent, and the new product will be noticeably different in terms of bass.

    Multi capacitive 3D Touch

The new flagship 6S Plus has surpassed its predecessor with advanced Bombay 3D Touch, which corrects errors in text with one touch and ways to highlight part of the text. Finally, the iPhone will be able to more sensitively detect pressure on a screen rich in Pop and Peek options. Now you can turn it on and off with one shake, the rest of the touch points have not changed.

The Peek and Pop features allow you to use and interact with content without having to log into it. It is enough to press lightly to open a preview of the letter, and pressing harder will allow you to open the text. This makes the world more convenient: you can view photos or websites without stopping the shooting process.

It was always very difficult to simultaneously move the cursor while typing to correct a typo or change the text, now this problem is solved with one touch! This is truly a step forward!

Touch functions for typing have been upgraded, allowing iPhone to determine the task assigned based on the pressure applied. For example, to highlight a word, you have to press double click, and if you press and do not lift your finger, it will be highlighted required text, and if you need to select a paragraph, just triple click. All these technologies are easy to learn and apply, providing quick browsing of mail, bookmarks, website pages and messages.

Built-in features in 3D Touch allow you to automatically switch between your most recently used apps. Just swipe your finger hard from left to right of the screen to return to previous viewed applications, and if you fix the swipe in the middle of the display, the main menu will open.

With 3D Touch, just click on the phone icon on the main menu, and the proposed options for making a call from stored contacts are quickly activated, without leaving the main screen mode. It seems that such convenience is ensured by the maximum combination of the iOS 9 processor and capacitive 3D Touch.

    Operation speed

As for the speed of iPhones, there is also something to be said. When on the go you need to switch from reading documents to making calls on Skype and a smartphone, while you need to go to the main menu during a conversation, view or send information without stopping communication, then in this case the latest iPhone 6S Plus has overtaken its predecessor by increase RAM from 1 GB to 2 GB.

Naturally, the device’s solid performance cannot be superfluous. Now, while opening numerous tabs, making calls and sending messages is not at all difficult; the iPhone does not freeze, but quickly completes assigned tasks. There are virtually no lags or stuttering in the picture.

    Camera differences

Another important change in the iPhone 6S Plus was the more powerful iSight camera, which moved from 8 MP to 12 MP. At the same time high quality photos are provided with high graphics and picture clarity. The second camera on the 6S Plus has advanced significantly and provides a quality of 5 Megapixels, while its rival in the 6 Plus has a side camera of only 1.2 Megapixels.

Now commit important points When taking pictures, you can use one touch. The Live Photos option can not only capture motionless objects, but also organically and accurately preserve important seconds of life in motion without blurring the frame. Now every emotion, jump or even splash is recorded as clearly as with a static photo.

    Power differences

If we talk about smartphone performance, then one is not inferior to the other. Each has a 64-bit new processor A9 from Apple, which has a fairly large clock frequency. The built-in A9 chipset provides more than 70% more productive power compared to the A8 processor built into the 6 Plus.

The amount of internal memory in the iPhone models under review has not changed and is still 16 GB, 64 GB or 128 GB, depending on your choice. Considering that the built-in memory is tailored installed programs 11 GB remains, the version with 16 GB of memory is not so profitable, although if you are used to synchronizing your iPhone data with cloud or other storage on time, in principle, this amount of memory will be enough for you to actively use. Well, if you want to be 100% sure, then your choice will be 64 or 128 GB of internal memory.

    Is it worth taking

I think all the listed characteristics speak for themselves. If you are a fan of advanced and high-quality 3D Touch, dream of taking high-quality photos in motion, shooting videos and taking photos at the same time while viewing other files, and all this with the greatest speed, then choosing the iPhone 6S Plus, you will not be disappointed. The latest technologies will be at your disposal.

We tested the new products for 2 weeks to understand what purposes each of them was suitable for.

Apple simultaneously released two very similar and at the same time different premium smartphones: the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus. What is the difference between new products and main question— which smartphone to choose? We tested with passion for two weeks new iPhones 6 to understand the purposes for which each is suitable.

The era of small 3.5 and 4-inch iPhones is becoming a thing of the past, leaving room for larger displays that provide more screen real estate. The diagonal of the iPhone 6 is significantly larger than the diagonal of the iPhone 5S, but it is still quite comfortable for use with one hand, which cannot be said about the iPhone 6 Plus, which is somewhat reminiscent of the iPad mini - here you will always have to use both hands. The design of the models is the same, as is the filling and interfaces.

Devices, first of all, differ in time battery life. The iPhone 6 drains much faster than we expected it to, although it will last most users a full workday. The iPhone 6 Plus is larger and, accordingly, has a one and a half times more capacious battery, which gives a noticeable increase in its autonomy. The new products also differ in their displays: iPhone screen 6 Plus is clearer and has Full HD resolution (1920×1080) versus 1344×750 on the “main” version, which, however, is also sufficient for a 4.7-inch diagonal.

In terms of OS performance, the iPhone 6, in our opinion, works better, the iPhone 6 Plus still needs some minor improvements. Still, for good optimization it is not enough to simply stretch the icons to larger sizes, and its work in landscape mode is not yet ideal. In addition, the camera of the 5.5-inch iPhone received an optical stabilization system, which the iPhone 6 did not have. However, we did not notice any obvious difference in the quality of shooting, so we would not recommend using this criterion when choosing a new iPhone. So, first things first.

Dimensions and ease of use with one hand

New iPhones have become larger. If operating a 4-inch iPhone with one hand was not difficult, now reaching the desired icon has become much more difficult. Yes, both smartphones have rounded, smooth shapes, thanks to this they fit well in the hand, but there is no talk of controlling them with one hand. Compared to Android smartphones that have navigation buttons located at the bottom, iPhone key There is only one control, and navigation is carried out using icons in applications, which are usually located at the top. It turns out that reaching for them with a finger of the same hand in which you hold the iPhone is inconvenient.

The problem is partly solved by the Home button. With a double light touch of the key (no need to press or hold), you will “lower” your desktop down. You can “raise” the image back by double-tapping again, “pulling” the display back to where it was, or simply wait until it returns to its place on its own. If you accidentally stumble upon this feature for the first time, you may think that your iPhone is broken and glitched. It looks beautiful only on the desktop, but in applications it seems that the image simply falls into nothingness and a dark gray void appears on almost half the screen. Perhaps this void will soon be filled with something in the next update. The function can be used in most applications that run in portrait mode, and in landscape it is assumed that you are holding the device with both hands, and this function is no longer needed.

Pressing the key twice (with a click) will show you a list of active running applications, you can quickly switch between them and close them with a “swipe” up, which, as it turns out, is not always convenient. For example, if you do this quickly and before the moving icon has stopped, the phone will assume that you want to scroll through the list rather than close the application, so you will have to wait a little.

One thing we didn't like about both iPhone 6s was the wobbly buttons. On the iPhone 6 Plus, which we bought for testing, you could easily twitch the power key and both volume keys from side to side, but on the iPhone 6 - only the volume keys, and if you put it to your ear, you could even hear them hang out. This was not the case on iPhone 5s.

The iPhone 6 Plus is significantly larger, so if you don't want to switch to a phablet, it's better to stick with the iPhone 6. At least it can still be used with one hand. The iPhone 6 Plus can be held in one hand, but cannot be operated with one hand in any way, and it can hardly be carried in a pocket. We can also add that the body of the iPhone 6 Plus is not the most durable, which we noticed in tests, but you will have to try hard to bend it with your hands.

Display: Big 6 Plus for multimedia or 'standard' all-rounder?

The difference in smartphone diagonals is only 0.8 inches, but the 6 Plus seems huge compared to the iPhone 6. Apple doesn't want to lose share of the phablet market: judging by the resolution alone (1920x1080), it's clear that the iPhone 6 Plus is designed for multimedia pleasures and games, which is what a large display is for. The resolution of the small iPhone 6 has been raised to maintain the same pixel density as on the iPhone 5S. In the case of the 6 Plus, it is 404 pixels per inch, which is a quite common solution for a large diagonal.

However, you can’t yet fully enjoy the benefits of the iPhone 6 Plus display, since not all games and applications are optimized for it: many look grainy, and in a number of games, including the same Asphalt 8, pixelation is striking. Over time, this will, of course, be corrected, but now it greatly spoils the experience, especially when the level of expectations from the device is very high.

As for color rendition, viewing angles and brightness, both new products have no problems. The brightness is high, and the viewing angles are not just wide, but wide, and, importantly, with virtually no color shift when deviating. Both displays do not formally have a glove mode, but nevertheless you can work with them in thin gloves, however, unfortunately, there are no guarantees, it all depends on the characteristics of your personal gloves.

    Battery life

If such a parameter as battery life is important to you, then the iPhone 6 Plus will be more preferable to you than the “main” version. It is equipped with a much larger battery (2915 mAh versus 1810 on the iPhone 6), which gives an increase in battery life, despite the difference in resolutions and display sizes. As usual, both batteries are non-removable. In our tests, the iPhone 6 Plus lasted 7 and a half hours versus 6 hours and 40 minutes for the iPhone 6 in the video test with the screen at maximum brightness. The difference is not that big due to the much higher resolution and display diagonal of the iPhone 6 Plus. As for the test in audio player mode, in our tests big iPhone showed itself to be noticeably more durable - 79 hours versus 55 for the iPhone 6. It is curious that at the presentation Apple announced 80 and 50 hours of operation in this mode, respectively - they were not deceived. Battery life iPhone work The 6 Plus is noticeably larger and may be one of the reasons to prefer the larger “main” model. At the same time, we still expected better results from both models.

    Interfaces, memory and performance

In all this, the new iPhones are identical. Despite the seemingly outdated characteristics (“only” 1 GB of RAM, a dual-core processor operating at up to 1.4 GHz), both smartphones are good in terms of performance, and all applications are optimized for fast operation.

iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are the same in terms of built-in memory - you can choose from models with 16/64/128 GB of memory, plus 5 free GB in cloud service iCloud, with the option to pay extra for additional gigabytes. And of course, it will hardly be news to anyone that iPhones do not support memory cards and, perhaps, never will.

The set of interfaces is also similar: dual-band Wi-Fi with support for the high-speed 802.11ac standard, Bluetooth, GPS with GLONASS support and even NFC chip, however, it works exclusively for its own payment system Apple Pay.

Is it possible to choose one iPhone over another here? Since we’re talking about games, the iPhone 6 Plus is more convenient as a gaming platform: firstly, the large diagonal makes it possible to gaming capabilities phone to a new level, secondly, 20% more high density pixels for gamers will be noticeable and pleasant; finally, it is possible to capture more details and it is easier to “get” into the game in time the desired button at the right time.

    Camera

The main characteristics of the cameras are the same: the main camera is 8 MP and the front camera is 1.2 MP. You can evaluate the quality of the photos in the reviews. As for comparing models, the iPhone 6 Plus has everything that the iPhone 6 has, plus optical image stabilization. Optical system stabilizes the image if your hand shakes or you don't move your iPhone smoothly when shooting. Overall, we did not notice any significant difference and cannot say that this somehow affects the quality of photos or videos: the effect can only be noticeable in poor lighting. Note that some of our experts who took part in the tests even thought that the video on the iPhone 6 was more “stable” and smoother.

Working with text: prediction, additional icons and keyboards from third-party developers

The keyboards now have a feature that predicts the next word. Let's just say that it works well, but so far only for English language. We hope that someday there will be Russian, but judging by the fact that Siri does not speak Russian in iOS 8, then we may have to wait a long time. In addition, you can finally change your keyboard by downloading alternative options in the App Store, a kind of another “degree of freedom” in iOS 8. However, most keyboards do not yet support the Russian language, so you will have to search some more and pay some money for alternative keyboard with Russian language.

In some apps, the iPhone 6 keyboard switches to landscape mode when you rotate the display. On it you can find a new column of icons on the left and right - for a comma, a period, moving the cursor left and right, a separate icon for calling emoticons and some others. At the same time, the iPhone 6 Plus received an “extended” keyboard in landscape mode in all applications - with two columns of new icons on the left and right. On the right side there are: “remove the keyboard”, moving the cursor left and right, commas, periods, question marks and exclamation mark, which were clearly missing earlier. By left side— icons copy/cut/paste, etc.

It is worth noting that some applications on the iPhone 6 Plus, for example, in the standard messenger, often cause confusion. For example, when you rotate, you can “lose” the cursor, it simply resets and you have to move your finger to position it where you need it, otherwise you simply lose the text you typed. In general, the iPhone 6 Plus keyboard is more advantageous, it is larger in size and has additional keys, but, in our opinion, it is still a little “raw” and needs to be improved.

    Peculiarities

Like the iPhone 5S, the new items are equipped with a fingerprint scanner – Touch ID. The operating system is iOS 8, and both can work with payment Apple system Pay. One of important differences smartphones is that the iPhone 6 Plus can be used in landscape mode. You rotate the device and the image rotates along with it, along with the desktop, settings and messenger. Only the dialer, multitasking, control and event panels do not automatically flip when you rotate the display. We also encountered the fact that pre-installed application"music" the image disappears, leaving only a small icon with the album logo in the corner of the display, and the rest of the screen is filled with black. In addition, in landscape mode, the control panel takes up the entire display space.

As you know, new products come with new system- iOS 8, which doesn't have many visual changes. It can be noted new list recent contacts in the multitasking panel, there are two panels left in the notification center - the notifications themselves and the list of events for today/tomorrow. A function has been added to quickly respond to notifications without logging out. active application: For example, if you are listening to music and you receive a message, now you don’t have to switch to another application - you can quickly reply from the notification panel.

What to choose? And is it worth replacing your old iPhone with a new one?

If you iPhone owner 5S and even iPhone 5, and you think that the iPhone should be small and as convenient as possible for use with one hand, then we would not recommend immediately running for a new iPhone. Still, there are not so many revolutionary changes in the new products. Yes, the processor has become faster; in the future, both voice-over-LTE and Apple Pay may work in Russia (although by the time the latter appears, most likely iPhone line will be updated), but otherwise there are almost no noticeable changes in everyday use. If you have more old version iPhone, and you're not afraid of the prospect of using a grown-up iPhone 6, changing your smartphone will bring significant improvements in speed, performance, camera quality and battery life.

If you're choosing between the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, we'd recommend choosing the iPhone 6 for a number of reasons. Firstly, it is more convenient - you can still use it with one hand, without having to relearn how to use a smartphone two-handed. In our opinion, 4.7 inches is almost the “reasonable limit” for the notorious ease of use with one hand. Secondly, advantages of iPhone 6 Plus is not necessarily noticeable in everyday use: the increased number of pixels per inch is difficult to notice when performing a normal range of tasks, and the camera stabilizer is unlikely to provide a noticeable increase in shooting quality (in our tests it did not). And finally, the iPhone 6 is cheaper.

At the same time, the iPhone 6 Plus has a certain potential - it can become a good multimedia center and gaming platform. In this case, you will have to fork out money: since it is better not to seriously consider the 16 GB version as a multimedia center, and the price for the 64/128 GB version is already seriously steep.

If you have an iPad mini, then you probably won't want to buy the iPhone 6 Plus. If you are the owner of an “old” iPhone with a small diagonal, you don’t have an iPad, then you have something to think about: 6 Plus could become universal device with a 5.5 inch display that can replace a small tablet.

In the express review we already talked about the performance of the new Apple platforms A9, so we won’t repeat ourselves and run the tests a second time. First of all, we will talk about the capabilities of the camera in comparison with competitors and previous version, battery life and iOS 9. And yes, we almost forgot - now we have the iPhone 6s Plus!

It has a minimum of differences from the “regular” 6s: a 5.5-inch screen instead of 4.7-inch, an optical stabilizer for the camera and more capacious battery. In any case, there is something to talk about - part of this review is dedicated specifically to the 6s Plus and its differences from its predecessor. Well, we did a camera test based on the 6s Plus - after all, the optical stabilizer is very important, it would be wrong to neglect it.

    iPhone 6s Plus design

Talking about iPhone design during the “s-iteration” is both simple and difficult. Simple - because it's short. It’s difficult because there’s essentially nothing to say. Nothing has changed - the 6s Plus looks the same as the 6 Plus. You can distinguish them only by the letter s at the bottom of the back panel or if you bought a pink - yes, now there is one - version of the smartphone.

Apple iPhone 6s and 6s Plus

By the way, if you want to buy last year’s iPhone, but definitely a gold one, go to flea markets: the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus in gold are not produced, only silver and gray versions are available. Only the newest iPhones are presented in a “rich” design.

But taking a new one and old smartphones in your hands and weighing them thoroughly, you can feel the difference. 6s Plus is 20 grams heavier - 192 versus 172 grams for last year's " big iPhone" The dimensions are practically the same, the difference is measured in tenths of a millimeter.

We don’t undertake to evaluate whether the iPhone is beautiful or not, but the fact that it has become less recognizable is a fact. But it is not Apple that is to blame for this, but blatant copying in the style of Lenovo S90 or HTC One A9. To be honest, it’s not surprising to get confused.

Let us recall the basic ergonomic iPhone features: V Home button built-in fingerprint scanner; The volume keys and the power key are located on different edges; there is a special lever that switches the smartphone to silent mode, and more recently also capable of blocking screen rotation (its operating mode is selected in the settings); The camera module is located in the upper corner of the back of the smartphone and protrudes slightly above the body, which annoys many. The 6s Plus body is made of glass and aluminum. Needless to say, the build quality is excellent? After all, this is Apple; the company from Cupertino does not give up its position in quality control.

    iPhone 6s Plus display

Apple iPhone 6s Plus, display in the sun

The screen has not changed compared to the 6 Plus - only 3D Touch and Taptic Engine technologies have been added, we wrote about them in detail in the 6s express review. The 5.5-inch IPS matrix has a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels (density 401 pixels per inch), it has an oleophobic coating and there is no air gap between the glass and the matrix itself. Nevertheless, we couldn’t deny ourselves the pleasure of measuring the display’s performance.

It’s about pleasure - Apple traditionally customizes the screens of its devices very well, and as a result they look great, without superiority in formal indicators such as the number of dots per inch or contrast. The latter is especially true when compared with OLED.

The maximum recorded display brightness is 582 cd/m2, the minimum is 44 cd/m2. Black field luminosity is 0.43 cd/m2. The screen is very bright, among LCD displays this is one of the largest indicators today: the iPhone 6s is second only to the latest generation Sony Xperia devices. And, by the way, it surpasses the previous iPhone. For great job In the sun you have to pay a little more light than you would like when reproducing black. This is especially noticeable if you watch a dark video on a black iPhone 6s - the difference in black depth is clearly visible. In this regard, LCD displays simply cannot be compared with OLED.

At the same time, the contrast is very decent in its league - 1327:1. This is approximately the same as the figures we set last year. Among smartphones with LCD screens, the iPhone stands out noticeably, as can be seen in our comparison table.

Apple iPhone 6s Plus, gamma. Yellow line—iPhone performance, dotted line—reference gamma

Gamma is 2.25, medium color temperature- around 7200 K. This is colder than the reference value of 6500 K, but a similar situation is typical for most modern smartphones: Everyone prefers “cold”. And Apple doesn’t have such big deviations.

Apple iPhone 6s Plus, color gamut. Gray triangle - sRGB coverage, white triangle - iPhone coverage

The color gamut almost corresponds to the sRGB space: Apple did not pursue the widest possible gamut - and that’s good. iPhone colors The 6s Plus reflects quite accurately - pay attention to the proximity of the screen indicators (circles) to the targets (empty squares), this is a rather rare situation, usually the deviations are stronger. At the same time, the DeltaE indicator is still not so small - 3.08, outside the calibration norm, but it is still better than most screens of modern smartphones.

To summarize, we can say that Apple did not disappoint again - the screen is set up very confidently. Moreover, this is the case when there is no doubt that everything in your iPhone will be approximately the same as in these graphs - stability in production is also one of the strengths of the Apple company.

But formal characteristics still cannot be taken out of brackets. Yes, a resolution of 1920 × 1080 is quite enough for a 5.5-inch screen, the picture does not look grainy, and the fonts are not pixelated. Yes, the viewing angles are quite decent, without distortion in contrast and color with not too much deviation of the view (for example, if you look at the smartphone screen together).

However, there is almost no doubt that already in the next iPhone generation will receive a QHD or 4K display and Apple will tell you how much more opportunities this gives and how much more clear picture now with a smartphone from Cupertino. For now, let's limit ourselves to a simple formula - the screen of the iPhone 6s Plus good, his picture will appeal to the vast majority of users.

Since September 9, the entire Internet community has been tirelessly discussing Apple presentation their new iPhone models (iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus). These are some of the most long-awaited Apple gadgets of recent times.

The official start of sales of new products in Russia is scheduled for September 25. Even the prices are already known: iPhone 6s (16GB) will cost 51,990 rubles, versions for 64GB and 128GB – 59,990 rubles. and 67990 rub. respectively. iPhone 6s Plus models with similar amounts of memory will be eight thousand rubles more expensive. These are the prices that became known to journalists after the presentation, but official prices for new iPhone models in Russia have not yet been announced.

Is it worth upgrading from iPhone 6 to iPhone 6S? This is a question that Apple product lovers have been actively asking themselves in recent days. In the end, this is not the seventh iPhone, but the same sixth, but just with the letter S at the end :) Is the 2015 model so different from the previous one and is it worth paying extra for it?

We suggest comparing the characteristics of the iPhone 6 with the iPhone 6S so that everything falls into place. Let's start with the appearance.

    Design

In this regard, the IPhone 6 and 6S are very similar, but the latter will be slightly larger in size (138.3 x 67.1 x 7.1mm versus 138.1 x 67 x 6.9mm) and slightly heavier (143g versus 129g). New model comes with HD Retina screen with support for 3D Touch technology (responses to the force of pressing the screen) and a more robust metal body made of 7000 series aluminum.

    CPU

Both models have a 64-bit processor and co-processors for analyzing movements in smartphones. However, the iPhone 6S has a more modern and energy-efficient A9 chip with more powerful graphics. There is also a built-in M9 motion compressor.

    Memory

The sixth model is equipped with 1GB of RAM, the 6S has 2GB on board.

As for non-volatile memory, both models have modifications of 16GB, 64GB and 128GB.

It is not yet clear whether there is a difference in memory speed and its quality because detailed characteristics chips are not known.

    Camera

The main iSight camera in the iPhone 6s is very similar in many cases to the one in the iPhone 6. But there are also differences:

    • 12 megapixel sensor with 1.22µ pixels (was an 8 megapixel sensor with 1.5µ pixels)
    • Live Photos support (special gif images with sound)
    • 63-megapixel panoramic photos

The iPhone 6s camera supports video recording at 4K resolution (3840×2160) at 30 frames/sec (30fps). There is also support for recording in slo-mo mode (1080p at 120fps and 720p at 240fps). While recording 4K video, you can take photos (8 MP); there is also support for playback zoom and time-lapse recording technologies with stabilization.

Front iPhone camera The 6s has also undergone a slight upgrade and now has a 5 MP sensor with flash (previously the sensor was 1.2 MP, without flash).

    Battery

Even though the iPhone 6S battery reportedly has a slightly lower battery capacity than the original 6, the battery life of both models is similar.

    Communication standard

iPhone 6s supports more quick option 4G LTE (LTE-A) communications, better quality wireless communication 802.11a/b/g/n/ac with MIMO (was 802.11a/b/g/n/ac) and Bluetooth 4.2 (was 4.0).

    Other

iPhone 6S has the second generation of Touch ID fingerprint sensor built into the Home button. It is expected that it will do its job even faster and more reliably.

The comparison between the original six and the six with the letter s is clear. What is the difference between iPhone 6s and iPhone 6 Plus? 6 Plus has:

    • A little large sizes(158.20mm x 77.90mm x 7.30mm vs. 138.30mm x 67.10mm x 7.10mm) and weight (192g vs. 143g)
    • larger screen size with more high resolution(5.5 inches, 1920x1080 px, 401 ppi vs. 4.7 inches, 1334x750 px, 326 ppi)
    • higher declared battery life (16 days in standby mode, 80 hours of listening to music, 14 hours of watching videos, 24 hours of talk time versus 10 days, 50 hours, 11 hours and 14 hours, respectively)

In all other respects the filling and iPhone specifications The 6S and iPhone 6S Plus are no different.

The new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus have been released, and if you have already answered yes to the question of whether you should buy a new product right away, you are now faced with another question: should you buy the 4.7-inch iPhone 6s or the 5.5-inch iPhone 6s Plus? The resource named seven reasons why you should look towards the Apple phablet.

    1. Big screen

Even a year after release first iPhone 6 Plus adults, it would seem, people have not stopped joking, comparing the size of a smartphone with a shovel. This is all nonsense. In addition to the impressive size of the 6s Plus (it really does seem huge, especially when you put it to your ear while telephone conversation) you get used to it in about a week. By the way, it takes the same amount of time to get used to Apple Watch on your wrist and start to worry if suddenly there is no watch on your hand, and along with it there are no notifications.

The big screen is damn cool. At better resolution in pixels, the 6s Plus model also gives a larger diagonal - individual pixels cannot be distinguished, and you don’t have to myopically hold the smartphone to your eyes, as if you were over 80. On this screen, everything looks as if after a weekly magazine television program picked up a glossy magazine. It would be nice if only application icons, Instagram photos and letters looked better on it. On 6 Plus and 6s Plus you can watch TV shows without suffering from loss of quality. It turns out that you even iPad Mini You don’t need it anymore, you can give it to your child.

    2. More battery life before recharging

When the iPhone 6s battery is running low, the iPhone 6s Plus feels great: in addition to a larger screen, it also has a larger battery. Let's not say it works twice longer than iPhone 6, but holds itself much more confidently and thereby saves you from having to look everywhere for an outlet.

    3. Full horizontal orientation

On iPhone 6s, not all applications and the desktop could be displayed in horizontal orientation. The iPhone 6s Plus has the lion's share of applications (especially branded Apple) and desktop can work in landscape layout.

    4. Large keyboard

After a week with the iPhone 6s Plus, the keyboard on the iPhone 6s feels tiny. And it’s not the size of the keys, but their number in horizontal mode – there are several more buttons, which makes it more comfortable to write and edit texts.

    5. More powerful camera

The iPhone 6s Plus is equipped with a higher-quality camera than the iPhone 6s: at least optical stabilization contributes to better shots.

    6. Screen replacement

Let's say you have an iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus and you broke the screen of your smartphone. An official service would not replace your screen; in such cases, they replace the entire phone. So, you would be offered to exchange the iPhone 6s Plus on more favorable terms than the iPhone 6s: the gadget itself is more expensive, but repairing it is cheaper than in the case of the iPhone 6s.

    7. Growing popularity

“About a quarter of customers prefer the iPhone 6s Plus. This is slightly more than last year, and indicates the growing popularity of the model with a larger screen diagonal,” says Svyaznoy PR Director Maria Zaikina. “The most popular colors are space gray and the brand new rose gold,” she adds. The growing popularity of the iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6s Plus should not be surprising, and something tells us that shyness in front of phones with large screens will become less and less common.
