    gMote is a simple mouse customization application for the Windows operating system. The utility is distributed free of charge. The program interface is English.

    The application is used to control the system using computer mouse gestures. For example, with gMote you can activate the function of shutting down the PC or rebooting the system with a specific mouse movement.

    The principle of operation of the program is simple. In the "Active" application window, you must click the "Create gesture" button.

    The next step is to select an action from available list: launch a media player or browser, block the operating system, etc.

    For the selected action, you must specify a mouse gesture in the right "Recording" window. To do this, click on left button mouse anywhere in the window and “draw” any gesture.

    This completes the gesture creation process successfully. To set the next action, you must repeat the steps described above.

For the review I chose the Macros Effect program because it supports Oscar syntax and all the macros that will be in my reviews can be used on regular office mice. Another plus of this program is that there are a lot of macros on the X7 on the Internet, which means you don’t need to waste time rewriting third-party macros for yourself, you just need to pull the code from the AMC file and transfer it to the Macros Effect window. As for me, it’s almost not annoying, of course, in a gaming mouse it’s a complete mess, you can release the entire clip without even looking at it twitching, in the case of a regular mouse and this program, you will have to squint one eye on the fifth shot.

    Macros Effect optimization:

    Press the key combination alt+Ctrl+Del, launch the task manager -> go to processes -> right-click on the Macros Effect program -> set the priority to above medium. This is necessary so that the program primarily intercepts signals from your mouse.
