• Transfer data from Android to iPhone. How to easily and easily transfer personal data to a new Android device

    Today, many people own not one, but several smartphones. Often completely different, for example, an iPhone and something based on Android. But, unfortunately, not everyone knows that data on these devices can be synchronized. We propose to fill this gap and understand how and with what help synchronization is performed, as well as the transfer of user information from iOS to Android.

    Transfer contacts via Gmail

    To transfer contacts from iPhone to Android, just three simple steps are required:

    • Create an account on the Gmail email service.
    • Add it to your list of accounts in the Mail app on iOS.
    • Enable the app's synchronization feature. The address book will be automatically copied to any Android device where you log in using this account.

    How to do it:

    • After registering your Gmail account, launch the Mail application on your iPhone. Select Google from the list of accounts.

    • Fill in new profile: Enter your name, email address and password.

    • Click "Save".
    • Enable contact synchronization in your mail settings and disable it in iCloud (the phone book must be saved).

    After this, the selected data will be synchronized via Google servers. If you use this email as an account on Android, the address book will be copied to the device automatically. True, some addresses and numbers may be duplicated. But this, you see, is not a particularly serious problem.

    The method works on both old (for example, iPhone 4) and new Apple gadgets.

    Export contacts to Android via iCloud

    The second method of transferring telephone and address book from iPhone to Android involves using the iCloud service. Open it in a browser on your computer or mobile device, log in with your account and go to the “Contacts” section.

    Select from the list required addresses(or all of them if you prefer) and click on the gear icon located in the lower left corner of the page. Select the "Export vCard" option.

    Save the file in any convenient place.

    Next, open the Google Contacts service in your browser, log in with your Gmail account, go to the “All Contacts” and “More” menus. Select the "Import" option.

    In the “Import contacts from other accounts” window, click “from vCard” and specify the path to the saved file.

    Now log in using the same account on Android and make sure that the data saved in the vCard database has been successfully transferred. By the way, vCard files can be transmitted from one mobile gadget to another, if you connect them, for example, via Bluetooth.

    This option is also suitable for use on devices of different generations.

    Importing contacts into Gmail from other email services using Yandex as an example

    If you did not use Gmail on your iPhone, but some other email service, for example, Yandex, to transfer contacts to Android you will first have to export your Yandex address book to Google mail.

    To do this:

    • Go to the “Contacts” section of your Yandex mailbox.
    • The required option is located in the “More” menu and is called “Save contacts to file”.

    • When saving, select from the list " Mail client» vCard format.

    • Next, import this file into Google Contacts according to the instructions given above.

    Export contacts to others postal services done in much the same way. The differences are extremely minor.

    Transfer Contacts via iTunes

    To transfer your address book from an Apple gadget to Gmail You can also use iTunes by first connecting your device to the service.

    After establishing iPhone communications or iPad with iTunes open in the menu last section"Information". Check the “Sync contacts with” checkbox and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down list. After that, check their availability on Android.

    Import music

    To transfer music stored in your iTunes profile to your Android device, synchronize it with the Google Music cloud service.

    To do this, install on Android mobile application“Google Play Music" and log in using your Gmail account. In the “Where do you store your music collection” box, select iTunes. After downloading albums to Google cloud Music you can listen to them on your Android smartphone.

    Unfortunately, the service can be used for free for only 4 months; for a further subscription you will have to shell out $9.99 monthly.

    Importing photo albums

    It is also very convenient to use Google to transfer photos from iPhone to Android. More precisely, Google Photos cloud storage and social network Google+

    Google Photos

    To take advantage Google Photos, open the service page in a web browser or install the Google Photos application from the Appstore on your iPhone. Upload photos into it (drag onto the window or click the “Upload” button and select necessary files from the catalog).

    After this, the photos will be available to you on any Android smartphone or tablet. To get to them quick access, install a similar program from . The browser version for a mobile gadget is not very convenient.

    Google+

    Those who have an account on Google+ (and everyone who has registered one has one) mailbox Gmail) can use this social network to share multimedia data between all their devices.

    If you are using a browser Google version+, to upload photos it’s more convenient to switch it to the classic view (the button is at the bottom side menu). In it, unlike the new one, the function of downloading multimedia files is in plain sight.

    Click on the camera icon shown in the screenshot below.

    In the “For whom” field, specify the users who will be able to view your photos, and click on the camera icon again.

    For convenience, you can install the Google+ mobile application on both devices - iPhone and Android. It is available for free download both in the App Store and Google Play.

    Is it possible to transfer applications from iOS to Andriod?

    One can only dream of directly transferring programs from one device to another, since, alas, it is impossible to do this in practice. iOS and Android are too much different platforms, and the same version of the application cannot run on both of them. However, you can get out of this situation without losses.

    Many developers mobile programs They release their products for both platforms. This means that the likelihood that you will find familiar applications in Google Play, very high. Some of them (usually paid) have their own cloud services, which allow you to synchronize files and settings across different gadgets. Others are local and will have to be configured from scratch. But files created in such a program on one device will be opened on another, so there is essentially nothing to worry about, because the main thing is that you will not lose anything.

    On modern smartphones contains a lot of information. These include contacts, photographs, music, and various documents. In theory, we can start using the new device from scratch. But why, if now you can transfer data from one smartphone to another? This process does not take much time and only requires a little preparation.

    The most important type of information is the contacts contained in the phone book. We bet that you haven’t written down phone numbers somewhere in a regular notebook or notebook for a long time. Therefore, losing all contacts can seriously fray your nerves. Fortunately, it is now easy to transfer your contact list from your old device to your new one.

    Transfer passwords and photos

    Using a Google account allows you to transfer data without any difficulty. But not all information is copied. By default, neither photos nor website passwords are transferred. Only third-party programs can solve this problem.

    If you use the same browser on your new smartphone, there will be no problems. In particular, Google Chrome stores all your bookmarks, passwords and even open tabs on its servers. After installing the application, you will need to log in, after which you can again comfortably browse your favorite sites.

    The service will help you transfer photos Google Photos. However, the content sent to the server is compressed, which not all users will like. If this does not suit you, then you can use cloud storage Google Drive or similar. But then you won't have much free space in the “cloud”, which should also be remembered. If this option does not suit you, then transfer your photos and videos to your computer. And from it you can already transfer images to new smartphone - a lot of work it won't amount to.

    By the way, if all the photos are on the memory card, then all that remains is to rearrange it - you should not copy them anywhere.

    Transfer music

    Now you know how to transfer data from Android to Android. But the methods described above did not apply to music. It can also be synchronized with Google account, but only through special service. It's called Google Music. The service is capable of storing up to 50 thousand audio tracks. If they are synced, you can then play your music on any device that has access to the service.

    The sad thing is that you can only use Google Music for free for one to three months. Also, this service does not work with formats FLAC And ALAC. Therefore, it is easier to transfer all the music to a computer or memory card.

    Universal software

    There are many third party applications, helping in transferring information from one device to another. Let's take a look at the utility as an example CLONEit - Batch Copy All Data. The developers claim that their creation is capable of transferring 12 types of information - from contacts to settings operating system. How to work with this application?

    Step 1. You need to install the program on both devices.

    Step 2. Launch the application, also on both devices.

    Step 3. Now press on your old smartphone “ Sender", and on the new one - " Recipient».

    Step 4. Wait until the smartphones find each other and establish communication. Next, you just have to choose what data you need to transfer. When you decide on this, click the " CLONEit».

    After purchasing a new smartphone, the question of transferring personal information from the old gadget to the new one becomes more pressing than ever. And if it’s quite easy to transfer video files with audio, then you’ll have to tinker with other data, because quickly copying the same contacts or SMS messages is quite problematic.

    Let's try to figure out how to transfer data from Android to Android via a computer, using third-party applications, using accounts search engines and in other ways. That is, to make this procedure as painless as possible for both the user and the smartphone.

    Transfer using PC

    In order to transfer data from Android to Android using personal computer, we will need old phone, from which you need to transfer information, the PC itself, a USB cable for synchronization (you can use Wi-Fi) and the MOBILedit program (you can download it from the official website of the developer).

    The basic version of the program (Lite) has limited functionality, but it is quite enough for one-time copying of data from gadget to gadget. Extended, that is paid version It is intended, rather, for ardent fans to transfer something somewhere.

    Copy Features

    After installing the utility and then launching it, the program will offer to download all known drivers for smartphones/phones. To make the transfer of data from Android to Android faster, you can select the manufacturer of your device from the drop-down list and confirm the driver update.

    After the driver update has been completed, you need to go to the “Phone - Cable Connection” tab and select the PC Sync mode in the pop-up window. Sometimes the name of another mode may appear (depending on the phone brand), but the meaning should be the same - synchronization (Sync).

    • "Settings".
    • Click on “Developer Options”.
    • Place a beacon next to the “USB Debugging” line.

    Menu branches may differ depending on different versions"Android". For example, in platform 4.2 you need to open the “System” item, click on “Device Information” and go to the “Build Number” tab, where the debugging mode for USB interfaces is located. Keep this in mind before transferring data from Android to Android.

    Applications of such a format as MOBILEDIT are intuitive and do not require any special knowledge or skills - everything is simple. Go to the “Export” tab and on the left side select the “Copy phone” item, and then in the central window we note what data we need to copy: contacts, messages, photos, music, videos or applications.

    After that, on the right side of the screen, select the file name and extension (the universal option for most smartphones is *.csv). Then we save it on the computer and transfer data from “Android” to “Android” via WiFi or USB cable using the “Import” menu branch. If everything is done correctly, a window will appear indicating that the transfer operation was successfully completed.

    Copying data using a Google account

    When you have a personal computer and an Internet connection at hand, you can transfer data from Android to Android via Google. The whole process is to synchronize your personal data with your search engine account. This is a fairly practical option, because you can make almost any changes to your contacts, calendars and edit other information without the direct participation of your smartphone.

    The first thing you need to do is go to the Google Drive service on your old phone, where in the Export tab, back up the selected data (contacts, calendars, etc.) in *.csv format. To transfer data from Android to Android, go to your Google account on the new phone and use the same Google Drive and the Import tab to copy the information from the previously created file. In the future, all your selected data will be duplicated in your Google account.

    "Yandex.Disk"

    Transferring data from Android to Android using Yandex.Disk is quite simple. To successfully complete the procedure, you need to install the Yandex.Moving application on the old gadget, and the usual Yandex.Disk on the new device. You can download both the first and the second on the official Playmarket.

    Transfer process

    Both programs are entirely in Russian and are intuitive. First, you need to launch Yandex.Moving on your old phone and log into your account. Then select “Move” and select the necessary data to copy. The utility will give you a PIN code, which you will need a little later.

    Then, on the new smartphone, launch the Yandex.Disk application and log into the same account. Next, in the settings, select the “Moving from phone to phone” section, where we enter the PIN code that was given to us earlier on the old gadget. The application will begin its work and upon completion will notify you that the transfer of data from Android to Android (Samsung devices do not show such messages) was successful.

    Transfer over wireless protocols

    If you don’t have a personal computer at hand, you can use Bluetooth wireless protocols, with which you can copy not only music, videos and photos, but also phone book.

    To synchronize, you must perform the following procedure:

    • activate the Bluetooth protocols on both phones (Bluetooth and Visible to other devices);
    • on the old gadget, open the “bluetooth” settings menu and start searching for a new device;
    • agree to communicate with the device by entering the same passwords;
    • select all the data you want to copy;
    • Confirm the transfer and wait for the process to complete.

    If you want to transfer absolutely all the information from your old device to a new one, then in each section and subsection just click on the “Mark all” items, but then the procedure will take a lot of time, because the Bluetooth protocols have never been different high speed data transfer.

    SD cards

    You can copy almost all your data using external SD cards. If both mobile devices support function quick transfer by using external media, then the procedure will be as fast and “painless” as possible for both your nerves and devices.

    Contacts

    Surely everyone knows how to copy music, photos and videos using SD cards, but some problems may arise with transferring contacts, so we will consider this point in more detail.

    Copy contacts using an SD drive:

    • insert the memory card into the old device;
    • go to the phone book and call up the pop-up menu, where there should be an “Export/Import” item;
    • click on the “Export to SD card” subsection and select all the contacts that we need to copy;
    • wait for the process to complete and reinstall the memory card on the new gadget;
    • go to the phone book of the new device and select the same “Export/Import” item in the pop-up menu;
    • in the “Import” subsection, click on the line “Load contacts from SD card”;
    • We wait until the slider reaches 100% and you can remove the memory card.

    As for transferring contacts specifically, you can also use a SIM card, but this is rather an extreme case, because the main disadvantage of such copying is the limitation on the number of characters in the name. The process is similar to transferring data using SD cards, where you need to select “Export to SIM” from the pop-up menu. It is also worth noting that copying is limited to 200 contacts, so in some cases a repeat procedure is required.

    Purchasing a new smartphone Samsung, Xiaomi, sony xperia and so on, as a rule, it takes time to set everything up as it was in the old one - contacts, sounds, photos and other data.

    This is almost all the content that was available on the old one. The important thing is that this cannot always be done with one click.

    You'll need some tools for copying contacts, bookmarks, and apps, and others for copying other content, such as whatsapp data, viber, telegram... .

    Some of them can only be moved manually by copying files directly from memory via Windows Explorer, since the configuration between manufacturers' devices is too different.

    How to transfer data from an old smartphone to a new smartphone

    Some manufacturers offer their own tools for transferring data from an old phone to new phone via WiFi.

    Depending on the compatibility of your devices, you can copy many data and most important settings, and when devices are from the same manufacturer, then even when setting up individual applications.

    Transfer authorization is simplified using QR codes or NFC technology(not all smartphones support NFG).

    Examples of applications are Motorola Migrate (supported by Android from Android 2.2), Samsung Smart Switch Mobile for smartphone owners from Galaxy series or HTC Transfer Tool for HTC users.

    Transfer data from old phone to new using a memory card

    A micro SD card often offers much more storage capacity than smartphone storage. You can transfer photos, videos and music from internal memory phone.

    After this operation, just remove the SD memory card and transfer it to another device - a smartphone or tablet.

    It is also useful for exporting contacts when they are not synchronized via the cloud and not saved on the SIM card, but only in the phone memory.

    All you have to do is find the export option in your contacts list and then select the appropriate command. After transferring the card to the new smartphone, import contacts.

    Transfer data to a new phone using apps

    When your new smartphone is of the same brand, then you are in a comfortable situation. You can use software provided by the device manufacturer.

    Install them on your computer and look for options for synchronizing data with your computer. Once the data is transferred to the computer, connect your new smartphone and sync the data in the opposite direction.

    This type of application can be classified as Samsung Kies, LG PC Suite or Sony PC Companion.

    Latest application using mobile Xperia tool Transfer allows you to transfer data even from iOS or BlackBerry to Android, offering a replacement installed applications from Google Play.

    Transfer data to a new smartphone using a Google account

    The advantage of this method is that you can use multiple smartphones and one account with which they are synchronized.

    The amount of data transferred depends on your Android versions. For the newest ones, we can synchronize not only Gmail entries, Contacts and Calendar, but also Chrome tabs, data Google apps and photo.

    This data can be synchronized regularly when the smartphone has access to the network or on demand.

    Options for choosing what data to sync can be found in your user accounts settings by selecting your Google account.

    You can also use the option backup on Google server, which is usually available in the same settings tab as the smartphone reset option.

    The Play Market remembers our settings in the Android phone

    List of all applications downloaded from Google storage using the specified user account, stored on the Internet.

    Thanks to this, we can easily track not only the applications that we used on our old smartphone, but also those that we once installed and do not remember their names.

    To go to the list, select “My applications” in the market field menu. Google also remembers what you bought.

    If you use Firefox or cloud services such as Dropbox, then it is guaranteed that the data collected on your smartphone, such as bookmarks, login information or photos and videos, is constantly synchronized with the cloud.

    Thanks to this, you will have a copy of your smartphone data on the Internet, which will be downloaded to your new device after installing the same applications.

    Depending on the data type you must activate automatic synchronization or the ability to transfer content to the cloud.

    Synchronization features are present in most applications that require a login, such as Facebook, Skype, Google Docs and Office 365.

    You can also sync data from some games by creating an account through the game application, which will allow you to identify the data.

    Transfer data from an old Android phone to a new one using a file manager

    Not all data may be available for migration from one device to another. When you suspect that files in the phone memory remain and are important to you, use a file manager.

    The data in memory can be viewed by connecting the smartphone to a computer as storage, but this option is not always available.

    In turn, as a multimedia device, a smartphone does not provide all the data.

    A file manager will be useful in this situation. If your smartphone does not have such a tool, use the ES File application Explorer File Manager.

    Transfer data to a new Android smartphone using third-party applications

    Popular application, although paid My Backup Pro allows you to create backups almost all data, including point configuration mobile access, APN settings or shortcuts on the screen.

    You can also find a lot on Google Play specialized tools for data transfer, such as AirDroid, which allows you to remotely control your smartphone in a local Wi-Fi networks, and also copy the data. Good luck.

    An Excel table is a complex array with many parameters. It can consist of values, text cells, formulas and be formatted in different ways(cells may have a specific alignment, color, text direction, special marks, etc.).

    When copying a table, sometimes you need to move not all of its elements, but only some. Let's look at how this can be done.

    Special insert

    It is very convenient to migrate table data using special insert. It allows you to select only those parameters that we need when copying. Let's look at an example.

    We have a table with indicators for the availability of certain brands of pasta in the store’s warehouse. You can clearly see how many kilograms there were at the beginning of the month, how many were purchased and sold, as well as the balance at the end of the month. Two important columns are highlighted in different colors. The balance at the end of the month is calculated using a simple formula.

    Let's try to use the PASTE SPECIAL command and copy all the data.

    First, we select the existing table, right-click to open the menu and click COPY.

    In a free cell, right-click the menu again and click PASTE SPECIAL.

    If we leave everything as it is by default and just click OK, the table will be inserted completely, with all its parameters.

    Let's try to experiment. IN SPECIAL INSERT, select another item, for example, FORMULAS. We received an already unformatted table, but with working formulas.

    Now let’s insert not the formulas, but only the VALUES of the results of their calculations.

    So that the new table with values receives appearance similar to the sample, select it and insert FORMATS using paste special.

    Now let's try to select the item WITHOUT FRAME. We received a complete table, but without the selected boundaries.

    Useful advice! To transfer the format along with the column sizes, before copying you need to select not the range of the source table, but the entire columns (in in this case this is range A:F).

    Similarly, you can experiment with each PASTE SPECIAL item to see how it works.

    Transferring data to another sheet

    Transferring data to other sheets in an Excel workbook allows you to link multiple tables. This is convenient because when you replace a value on one sheet, the values on all the others change. This is an indispensable thing when creating annual reports.

    Let's look at how this works. First, let's rename Excel sheets in months. Then, using the familiar INSERT SPECIAL, we move the table to February and remove the values from three columns:

    1. At the beginning of the month.
    2. Coming.
    3. Consumption.

    The “At the end of the month” column is set by a formula, so when you delete values from previous columns, it is automatically reset to zero.

    Let's transfer the data on the remaining pasta of each brand from January to February. This is done in just a couple of clicks.

    1. On the FEBRUARY sheet, place the cursor in the cell showing the amount of brand A pasta at the beginning of the month. You can look at the picture above - this will be cell D3.
    2. We put an EQUAL sign in this cell.
    3. Go to the JANUARY sheet and click on the cell showing the amount of brand A pasta at the end of the month (in our case, this is cell F2 on the “January” sheet).

    We get the following: in cell C2 a formula has been formed that sends us to cell F2 of the JANUARY sheet. Let's scroll down the formula to know the amount of pasta of each brand at the beginning of February.

    Similarly, you can transfer data to all months and get a visual annual report.

    Transferring data to another file

    Similarly, you can transfer data from one file to another. This book in our example is called EXCEL. Let's create another one and call it EXAMPLE.

    Note. Create new ones Excel files it is possible even in different folders. The program will automatically search for the specified book, no matter in which folder and on which computer drive it is located.

    Let's copy the table into the EXAMPLE book using the same PASTE SPECIAL. And again we will remove the values from the three columns. We will carry out the same actions as in the previous paragraph, but we will no longer move to another sheet, but to another book.

    We got a new formula that shows that the cell refers to EXCEL book. Moreover, we see that cell F2 looks like $F$2, i.e. it is fixed. And if we want to extend the formula to other brands of pasta, we first need to remove the dollar signs to remove the fixation.

    Now you know how to competently transfer data from tables within one sheet, from one sheet to another, and also from one file to another.
