• Apple iPhone 8 or 7 which is better. Comparison of iPhone models

We compare the Apple iPhone 8 with two predecessors: the iPhone 6s and iPhone 7. Should you replace your Apple 7 or 6 phone with the 8 model? Or maybe you shouldn’t overpay, but rather buy an iPhone 7 or 6s?

iPhone 8, despite the new products from Apple, continues to be extremely popular among users. Perhaps some of you are wondering whether it is worth switching from old model to a new one. Or maybe it’s better to save money and buy one of its predecessors? I hope it's mine comparison of iPhone 8, iPhone 7 and iPhone 6S will help you make the right choice.

    Appearance and performance

With the advent of new iPhone generation As always, he changes his appearance. The Cupertino giant only made a few cosmetic tweaks last year. This year the main change concerns the material from which the case is made. The iPhone 8 is made primarily of glass.

iPhone 7 introduced some changes in the form of the camera lens, also updated two colors, in the case of iPhone 8 we are dealing with the evolution of this solution, a new color appeared - Gold Blush. There is glass at the back of the device, which allows you to use wireless charging . In addition, the phone can be charged in many places, such as cafes and shops. Apparently the construction of the corresponding infrastructure has already begun.

Size comparison between iPhone 8, iPhone 7 and iPhone 6S:

    iPhone 6S iPhone 7 iPhone 8
Color versions Silver, Gold, Space Gray, Rose Gold Silver, Gold, Rose Gold, Jet Black, Black Silver, Space Gray, Gold Blush
    Dimensions 138.3 x 67.1 x 7.1 mm 138.3 x 67.1 x 7.1 mm 138.4 x 67.3 x 7.3 mm
    Weight 143 g 138 g 148 g

When it comes to size, the differences are not overwhelming. But all three models have one minus compared to other top players, for today the ratio of display size to the entire front panel (~65.6% in each case). While some smartphones in 2017 have an 80% size ratio, Apple didn't try hard here.

Grade appearance three last generation iPhone smartphones are individual, so you must answer the question for yourself which one do you like best. I give my vote to iPhone 8 plus 64 GB gray, but only because I prefer a glass case.

    Display comparison

All three smartphones discussed were equipped with 4.7-inch display carried out according to IPS technology, With resolution 1334×750, which gives approx. 326 pixels per inch. It is difficult to unequivocally assess whether Apple is doing well by adhering to one resolution, since, on the one hand, this is quite enough, but on the other hand, competition can offer more. Perhaps FullHD resolution would be desirable.

The matter of displaying colors looks interesting. iPhone 6s covers the sRGB color space, and iPhone 7 palette DCI-P3, which is noticeably wider, and is used in the field of photography and video. By doing this, Apple made a small nod towards professionals. iPhone 8 also offers technology True Tone . Don't forget about the 3D Touch support that all models offer.

iPhone 8 was equipped one of best displays for IPS smartphones. Of course, maybe you were waiting for AMOLEDa, but that's a personal matter. I prefer the muted colors of IPS screens.

    Performance Comparison

Here the answer is simple - every iPhone is a performance beast. True, we do not yet know the exact capabilities of the Apple A11 Fusion with the iPhone 8, but we must believe that a new king is in the making. The six-core processor should be 30% more productive than the Apple A10 Fusion processor and at the same time twice as economical.

However, if productivity is not a key issue for you, then there will be no noticeable differences in your daily work. Regarding RAM, That all models have 2 GB.

A separate topic is the amount of internal memory, since this is already a matter of individual needs. Possible combinations can be found in the table, and each subsequent one requires a significant additional payment, it is worth thinking about how much space you really need.

Camera iPhone 8 vs iPhone 7

In the modern world of smartphones, the camera and its capabilities are probably the most important topic for most clients. You don't have to worry about the quality of the display at all, but the quality of the photos is a very important indicator.

Let's start with technical issues in which iPhone 8 has surpassed its predecessors but the difference in attitude towards iphone 7 will not be very big. The situation is different if you compare it with the 6S model. Here the lack of optical stabilization of the screen is striking. Additionally, later models have much lighter lenses. Apple is heavily emphasizing progress in low-light photo quality.

iPhone 8 camera specifications and comparison with predecessors:

Video recording - 240 frames in FullHD resolution. Apple emphasizes that iPhone provides best quality video in the history of smartphones. Also a plus is the support virtual reality. The games shown at the conference look no less interesting.

I'm not sure that the camera in the iPhone 8 is able to compete with the camera in the Samsung Galaxy S8, but tests will show that. Despite this, it is one of the best devices in the world of smartphones.

    Battery

It is very difficult to reliably compare the battery life of any smartphone, even when we are talking about the same models - after all, each of us uses them differently. iPhones have not yet been famous for a long time work away from the outlet. As is the case with the iPhone 8?

Apple did not touch upon battery issues at the conference, which is certainly not encouraging. The new processor is rumored to be manages energy better but I don't expect a big leap. Wireless charging is an interesting new feature.

    Which iPhone should I choose?

I admit that I cannot answer this question definitively. Due to the price of the new model and the fall in prices for the iPhone 7, I might still prefer the seven. I point it out as the most reasonable option. However, if you rely on top-end performance, then the iPhone 8 will be an excellent choice.

This is exactly what we will do today, we will understand the difference between these gadgets and try to decide which is better. It will be very interesting.

What is the difference between iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 PLUS?

This time Apple repeated the practice of last year and we again received two models with the same index. Only now we skipped 7S and went straight to number 8.

The situation has not changed much and the picture will be almost identical. However, there are some features that you need to be aware of.

Let's try to figure out the most important ones iPhone differences 8 and iPhone 8 PLUS:

As in the previous generation, the most important difference concerns the camera, only now we also get new mode, which is called Portrait Lighting.

It is still in beta testing and its main task is the function of changing lighting using software capabilities. It’s still a little damp, but even in this form it looks very impressive.

This again implies that photo processing requires more RAM. So the larger version is again ahead of the smaller one by a whole gigabyte.

Which is better: iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 PLUS?

The good thing about Apple's logic is that it generally cares about all types of customers and tries to please everyone. That’s why we see such a large assortment in the Apple Store today.

If you are wondering what iPhone is better: 8 or 8 PLUS, then a very simple and logical answer awaits you - each of them is designed for different types buyers.

Let's go through the points for which they want to buy these models:

    • Wireless and fast charging. If you buy a special station and adapter, you get a miracle that should have appeared four years ago. There is support wireless standard Qi and the ability to charge the gadget from 0 to 50 percent in 30 minutes.
    • Glass design. If there are no changes at the front, then at the back we have a glass cover. This was able to kill two birds with one stone: to freshen up a little old design and made it possible to implement wireless charging.
    • Colors. There are only three colors: Silver, Space Gray and Gold. Gold and silver look especially unusual.
    • Speakers. Both gadgets have a nice feature that many competitors lack: stereo speakers. Compared to last year, it is now 25 percent more powerful.
    • True Tone. Now you can worry less about your eyes, because now they will get a little less tired thanks to True Tone technology, which allows you to adjust the white balance depending on the type of lighting.
    • CPU. Such a processor gives you capabilities that you can only dream of. The A11 Bionic has as many as six cores and the test results are simply impressive.
    • ARKit. Both models have the ability to use augmented reality and now the world of games should change a little. We also get nice bonuses in everyday life.
    • Bluetooth 5.0. Not many people noticed, but Bluetooth standard now 5.0, which shows commitment to the future. Apple knows how to feel these moments.

It was not for nothing that I reminded iPhone features 8 and iPhone 8 PLUS. Each item is present in both models and this suggests that the differences between the models are simply minimal, the phones are simply designed for different buyers.

What to choose: iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 PLUS?

When it comes to making a choice, you begin to calculate in your head all the pros and cons of using one model or another, and in our case, it’s the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 PLUS.

    Power and performance

When it comes to real-world performance, the iPhone X and both iPhone 8s perform more evenly than expected.

All three gadgets feature Apple's new 64-bit A11 Bionic chipset - new powerful processor, consisting of six separate cores: two high-performance and four energy-saving, which provide balance between time battery life and productivity. Designed Apple chip regulates and debugs tasks for individual processor cores, resulting in reduced battery consumption when reading email, listening to music and opening applications that do not require a lot of processing power.

The chipset works in tandem with Apple's triple-core GPU, which accelerates machine learning algorithms. Overall, Apple claims the A11 Bionic is 70 percent faster than the A10 Fusion (in iPhone 7 and 7 Plus) in everyday tasks and 30 percent better in graphical tasks hard games or applications.

When it comes to storage capacity, both the iPhone X and iPhone 8 are available in 64GB or 256GB variants, enough for plenty of apps, games, music, movies or any other data you might want to store offline. .

But in games the indicators are not entirely equal. The iPhone X and iPhone 8 Plus will likely get 3GB of RAM (unconfirmed) compared to 2GB in the iPhone 8. This won't be particularly noticeable in normal interactions, but depending on how aggressively you juggle apps and browser tabs , will help reduce the number of tasks that restart in the background.

Winner: iPhone X and iPhone 8 Plus

    Screen, design and durability

The most obvious differences between the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X are aesthetically. From the front, the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus look almost identical, which cannot be said about the iPhone X.

The 5.8-inch OLED screen of the iPhone X has a resolution of 2,436 × 1,125 pixels (with a density of 458 ppi); Apple named it Super screen Retina HD. Here, individual pixels light up or darken as needed, creating an image with superior contrast and color accuracy. Apple's True Tone technology automatically adjusts white balance to ambient lighting conditions, and the top houses the iPhone X's front camera, speaker, and depth sensors.

X is also first iPhone, maintaining high dynamic range(HDR). Video uses technology Dolby Vision and HDR10 in their own color spaces, which typically means a brighter, more colorful and more realistic picture than displays that don't support these technologies.

The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus phones offer more conventional screen sizes of 4.7 and 5.5 inches, respectively. The iPhone 8 display has a resolution of 1,334 x 750 pixels (326 ppi), while the iPhone 8 Plus comes with a resolution of 1,920 x 1080 pixels (401 ppi). Both devices have IPS LCD screens, which don't quite match the brightness of the iPhone X's OLED, and both don't have the iPhone X's edge-to-edge design, with thicker, traditional bezels. But even though the iPhone 8 Plus has a smaller screen size of 5.5 inches, it actually has a better screen overall compared to the 5.8-inch iPhone X.

Both iPhone devices 8 retains the round Home button with a built-in fingerprint scanner, which has become one of its most recognizable features Apple phones. This is in stark contrast to the iPhone X, which replaces the scanner button with an on-screen " software panel", located at the bottom.

Swipe up from the bottom to go to the home screen, which also disappears when not in use. The smartphone does not support Touch ID, meaning the iPhone X cannot be unlocked using a fingerprint, but it can be unlocked by scanning your face.

The iPhone X has a dedicated depth sensor consisting of a light transmitter, a light receiver, a proximity sensor, and a light sensor that records data. All this combined with data from the front camera creates a complete three-dimensional image. The technology is called True Depth, it complements FaceID iPhone X, iOS 11 Animoji and new feature, which prevents your phone from locking when you look at its screen.

Apple says that custom neural network“crunched” is a machine learning system capable of performing up to 600 billion operations per second. It will capture the unique contours and shapes of your face over time, so it will still recognize it even if you change your hairstyle or grow a beard. In addition, Apple claims that the technology is much more secure than Touch ID. The Cupertino-based company said there's a 1 in 50,000 chance that a random person will be able to unlock your device using their fingerprint, and a 1 in 1,000,000 chance of doing the same with Face ID.

Overall, the new iPhone X, iPhone 8 and 8 Plus feature a combination of aluminum and glass in design, a rugged IP67-rated shockproof design, and the absence of a 3.5mm audio jack in favor of a Lightning port.

    Winner: iPhone X

    Battery life and wireless charging

The iPhone X and iPhone 8 Plus are almost identical when it comes to battery life, but the iPhone 8 will last less on a single charge.

Apple isn't revealing battery capacity yet, although it says the A11 Bionic's energy-efficient processor cores and other optimizations result in longer battery life than last year's devices. The company claims that the iPhone X will last up to two hours longer than the iPhone 7, or about 21 hours of talk time. Lifespan iPhone batteries The 8 Plus also matches 21 hours of talk time, although standard iPhone 8 he is only 14 hours. The iPhone 8 Plus has a slightly longer battery than the iPhone X, although the improvement is marginal.

All three new phones support Qi wireless charging and, when placed on a compatible dock, charge without needing to be plugged in. Lightning cable. You will have to use a third party charger to take advantage of this feature since wireless charging is not included in the box. Apple's own wireless charging mat won't be available for purchase until 2018.

New iPhones can charge up to 50 percent in 30 minutes.

Winner: iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X

    Camera comparison

The iPhone X and iPhone 8 Plus have dual camera setups that are almost identical.

The iPhone X's rear camera consists of two sensors, one 12-megapixel wide-angle lens with af/1.8 aperture and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with af/2.4 aperture. Both lenses have optical image stabilization (OIS), which counteracts the jerking of your hands or steps when shooting.

IPhone 8 Plus is equipped with the same rear camera, like the tenth model, but the 12-megapixel telephoto lens has an aperture of af / 2.8, and only the main wide-angle lens is equipped with OIS. Both support Portrait Lighting, an improved version of iPhone 7's Portrait Mode.

With Portrait Lighting mode enabled, you can switch between Contour Light, Natural Light, Stage Light, Stage Light Mono, and Studio Light settings to fine-tune the bokeh effect. similar to DSLR cameras.

Main IPhone camera 8, is a single 12-megapixel rear lens. However, Apple says it is an improvement over the 12-megapixel camera in the iPhone 7.

The new iPhones can shoot video at up to 4K resolution at 60 frames per second (30 frames per second on the iPhone 7), as well as 1080p (1,920 x 1080 pixels) at 240 frames per second (up from just 60 frames per second).

Everyone has three iPhones There is a 7-megapixel front camera that can shoot videos up to 1080p at 30fps. But, the iPhone X has much more convenient and advanced depth-measuring features with the camera located on the front panel.

    Winner: iPhone X

    Software

Despite the fact that iPhone smartphones X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus come with the same software- iOS 11 from Apple, the X version has several additional features.

Animoji, the animated emoji feature, uses iPhone X's front-facing depth-sensing camera to create custom animated messages that use your voice and reflect your emotions. Facial expressions such as furrows, grins, frowns, laughter or nods are displayed on animated icons and sent with voice message. iPhone X's Face ID, instead of Touch ID, ties your face to the phone's lock controls, and front-facing scanners record your facial structure so that when you look at the front of the phone, it instantly unlocks.

Other iOS features 11 are also new or improved. ARKit, Apple's augmented reality (AR) framework, is installed for AR-enabled experiences. The powerful new A11 Bionic processor processes real-world data through tracking, recognizes scenes and saves graphics at a constant 60 frames per second, while a dedicated image signal processor adjusts to lighting conditions in real time.

iOS 11 has a lot of new things to learn. You will be able to create PDF files from web pages in Safari and use iPhone keyboard with one hand. Appeared new tool for creating screenshots, which allows you to mark up your pictures in different styles and fonts using a stylus. Now you can add more natural sound Siri assistant and much more.

    Winner: iPhone X

    Price and Availability

The iPhone X may be more capable than the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, but it's also much more expensive. IPhone price The X starts at $1,000 for 64GB in silver and gray. Pre-orders will start on October 27, and the gadget will be available only after November 3.

The new iPhone 8 costs $700 (42,000 rubles) for the 64 GB version in silver, gold or space gray, which is $50 more than the iPhone 7.

The iPhone 8 Plus costs $800 and comes with the same storage capacity and color options as its little brother.

    Winner: iPhone 8

    Bottom line

The new iPhone X may be expensive, but it's a quantum leap forward for the world's most valuable technology company. This is the first Apple smartphone with OLED screen and ultra-thin design. He is also the first to end physical button in the iPhone, and the company's first phone with wireless charging. But it's also the first thousand-dollar smartphone.

iPhone 8 and 8 Plus lack brightness iPhone screen X or 3D facial scanning technology, but you'll pay $300 less. Rumors suggest that the iPhone X will be in short supply, so you may have to wait even longer to get your hands on it.

Basically this comparison comes down to this: if you want more fast processor, wireless charging function and a more durable battery, you will be quite happy with the iPhone 8. If any iPhone features X seriously appeal to you, you might want to consider purchasing it, but it will put a lot of weight on your wallet.

As always, at the beginning of autumn, Apple held an event and presented new iPhone models. In this year Apple deviated from its tradition of releasing models with the letter “S” and did not name new model iPhone 7s. Instead, the new products are called iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X, which is also called iPhone 10.

And if the iPhone X is noticeably different from the iPhone 7, then the difference between the iPhone 8 and iPhone 7 is no longer so obvious. Therefore, we have collected all the main differences and now we will tell you how the iPhone 8 differs from the iPhone 7.

If you compare iPhone 8 and iPhone 7, the first thing that catches your eye is the new case materials. If the iPhone 7 case was made mainly of metal, then the main material in the iPhone 8 is glass. The new product from Apple has glass covering both sides of the device, both the front and the back. On the side edges of the device there is an aluminum frame, which makes the entire structure solid.

What does the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus look like?

But, despite the new case materials, the design of the iPhone 8 is not much different from the iPhone 7. The same rounded shapes are used here, and the controls are in the same places. In the eighth iPhone, even the Home button remained in its place, under the smartphone screen.

    New processor

If we go to technical differences iPhone 8 from iPhone 7, then you should start with the processor. As always, new iPhone Got a new processor. And this year, this processor was the A11 Bionic chip, which has quite a few noticeable differences from the previous generation of Apple chips.

    New processor - A11 Bionic

Firstly, the new processor has an increased number of cores; the A11 Bionic chip has as many as 4 cores. Secondly, the new processor also received a new 10-nm process technology. Thanks to these two improvements, Apple's new processor is 25 percent faster and 70 percent more energy efficient than previous chips.

In addition, the A11 Bionic processor received an improved image processing unit, thanks to which there is better color reproduction and noise reduction when photographing and shooting video. It also made it possible to record video in 4K resolution at 60 fps or 1080p at 240 fps.

The built-in graphics have also changed. While previous generations of Apple processors used integrated graphics from Imagination Technologies (such as the PowerVR GT7600 graphics accelerator), the new processor uses integrated graphics developed by Apple itself. by Apple, which should give up to a 30 percent increase in gaming performance.

The A11 Bionic also features a unique dual-core neural engine designed to speed up specific tasks. This engine effectively handles matrix multiplication and floating point calculations. Apple will use it to speed up algorithms related to machine learning (like Face ID and Animoji), artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and more.

    True Tone technology

The iPhone 8 display is no different from the iPhone 7. It is the same 4.7 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1334x750 (or the same 5.5 inch screen with a resolution of 1920x1080, if we talk about Plus versions). But, the new iPhone now has support for True Tone technology.

    How True Tone Technology Works

This technology allows you to adjust color rendering to the environment in which the device operates. This is possible thanks to a four-channel ambient light sensor.

True Tone technology has previously appeared in Apple devices, in particular it was in the iPad Pro tablet.

    Cameras

There are very few differences between the cameras of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 7. The new iPhone uses exactly the same camera with a 12 megapixel matrix and an ƒ/1.8 aperture. The telephoto lens on the iPhone 8 Plus has also remained unchanged.

How does the iPhone camera work?

But, the cameras have some new features that need to be mentioned. For example, the Slow Sync function appeared, and the “Portrait Lighting” function appeared in the iPhone 8 Plus. In addition, the True Tone Quad‑LED flash has been updated and video recording has been improved. You can now record videos at 240fps in 1080P resolution.

Wireless technologies in iPhone 8 have received slight differences compared to iPhone 7. For example, iPhone 8 has Bluetooth support 5.0, which offers increased data transfer rates, increased range, increased immunity to interference and reduced power consumption.

Theoretically, the Bluetooth 5.0 standard allows data transfer at speeds of up to 6.25 MB/s (previously 3.125 MB/s). At the same time, the maximum distance between devices is now 40 meters indoors and 200 outdoors (previously it was 10 and 50 meters). What the speed and distance will be in practice, during real use, is still unknown, but such an increase in capabilities is a noticeable step forward.

    Wireless charging

Wireless charging is what was talked about most before the announcement of the eighth iPhone. And this function really appeared. Now iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus can be charged wirelessly according to the Qi standard.

What does Apple's wireless charger look like?

The Qi standard was developed by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) and it allows devices to be charged using wireless transmission energy at a distance of up to 4 centimeters. First versions this standard were accepted and published back in 2009, and the first device with its support was the Lumia 920, which appeared in 2012.

Due to the fact that charging will use a widely used and generally accepted standard, the new iPhone can be charged from wireless chargers that are already on the market. For example, you can use a charger from Samsung.

On the evening of September 19, iOS in iPhones was updated to version 11. And, having seen the new capabilities of the system, many owners of older models actually thought about buying something newer. Just what to choose: 7, 8 or X? The editors of the Moscow 24 portal turned on the logic and decided to figure out why one version is better than the other, whether the new products are really fundamentally different from the “seven” and whether it’s worth saving up for X or calmly taking the previous flagship.

    Camera

What is one of the determining factors when buying a phone today? That's right, camera. And Apple in this regard did not offend either the “seven” or its younger brothers. On 7 Plus, 8 Plus and X there is a 12-megapixel dual camera with wide-angle and telephoto lenses. Aperture values, zoom, color range, portrait mode– all the main “gadgets” in these devices are the same. The only difference is in some subtleties: only on X there is a double optical stabilization images, the True Tone Quad‑LED flash on the iPhone 7 Plus works without the Slow Sync function, and on the “seven” there is no new “portrait lighting” effect (when the background of an already captured frame is darkened and a semblance of studio light is built on the face).

On regular 7 and 8, the cameras are also quite good, but with only one lens, a five-fold digital zoom, and they can’t take portraits like the “pluses”. At the same time, they have nothing to compete with each other: all the indicators are the same (except, again, for the Slow Sync function).

    Performance

The new iPhones are equipped with A11 Bionic processors. Traditionally, Apple puts pressure on the fact that “such a powerful, smart and generally uniquely amazing processor has never been in an iPhone” (you must agree, it would be strange if it turned out the other way around). But does this have any real weight when deciding whether to go with 7 or 8? According to the developers, the four cores in the A11 work up to 70% faster than in the A10 Fusion, which, in fact, is found in the 7 and 7 Plus. But no matter how nice it may sound, the average user is unlikely to notice any difference. Is it true.

    Display

Let's talk about one of the most exciting things about the new iPhones. It’s difficult to talk about the beauty and real perception of the screens in the three top Apple phones until the new items appear in open sale. But judging by the indicators, don’t expect a drastic difference from the 7 and 8 Plus (the same with the regular 7 and 8). The only difference is the True Tone display, which can also only be assessed during a real review.

But in the iPhone X Retina got a Super prefix, the display itself is HDR, full-screen OLED Multi-Touch with a diagonal of 5.8 inches (colleagues have 5.5 inches) and a resolution of 2436 × 1125 pixels, 458 pixels per inch ( 1334x750 pixels, 326 pixels per inch for 7 and 8 Plus). It should be really interesting, and perhaps the difference will be really noticeable. On the other hand, the screen is the main thing iPhone advantage X, so they had to work on it conscientiously.

    Battery

Battery is a scary word for iPhone owners, especially older models. Starting with the “sixes”, the batteries in them became more and more durable, and with the “seven” (especially Plus) you don’t even need to ordinary life carry a removable unit with you (but during active work, for example when traveling, it’s still worth taking precautions).

More to the point: the only difference between the 7 and 8 Plus is wireless and fast (50% in 30 minutes) charging. Seriously.

The iPhone X is also not surprising in terms of endurance, but Apple information, he even loses in some ways, for example, he works on the Internet an hour less. In fact, the official review honestly admitted that the iPhone X lasts as long as the regular 7 and 8. Don't forget that it has a huge, technology-packed display, so these numbers are probably not bad.

    Safety

The iPhone X has a Face ID sensor, which has already become the hero of memes on the Internet. It works by recognizing the owner’s face using the TrueDepth camera. It is unclear how well this system will work, but Apple insists that the new sensor is many times more reliable than the already familiar Touch ID (fingerprint recognition) and is practically error-free. But judging by the comments online, people are more than doubtful and cannot come to terms with the disappearance of the Home button.

    Set

The delivery kits have not changed in any way. The fact that new iPhones now support wireless charging, did not convince Apple to be generous with new element and throw an “air” power supply into the box. C'est la vie: you'll have to buy a charging tablet, and get ready for the fact that it won't cost 500 rubles.

    Price

And we left the cost for sweets. In fact, this is one of the most important factors when purchasing a device. Let's start with the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. Memory sizes of 32 and 128 GB are available in the official store. Accordingly, they cost 43,990 and 51,990 rubles per regular version and 52,990 and 60,990 rubles for Plus. Not cheap, we agree. But let's take a look at the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus.

For the younger model (64 and 256 GB) you will have to pay 56,990 and 68,990 rubles, respectively. But for the Plus version with the same volumes, prepare 64,990 and 76,990 rubles.

And finally, iPhone X. Although this is unlikely to be a surprise, since the cost of the flagship has already become the talk of the town. For the same 64 and 256 GB of memory, buyers need to pay 79,990 and 91,990 rubles (by the way, according to analysts iPhone cost X in Russia is the highest among other countries; You can buy it most profitably in the USA – $999).
