HiFont has integration with the GO Launcher described above, and if you install them simultaneously, working with fonts will become even more convenient and easier. Users note that this utility is easier to use than all others.

    System Font Changer is a paid utility that can be purchased at Google Play. Designed for experienced users. Requires root access to work on any device. But all this pays off with very flexible settings, which are also significantly larger than in previous programs. For example, you can smoothly change the size of the system font. If this is important for someone, then System Font Changer is your choice.

    There is a caveat: the program will not work on some smartphones from Samsung and LG, because they have their own tools for managing fonts, and the application is not compatible with them.

    How to change the font on your Android phone using the iFont app

    iFont is perhaps the most famous utility for working with fonts on mobile phones. Has both free and paid options. Its main advantage is that it offers you to view a huge variety of fonts online without downloading them to your phone.

    The database of fonts is very large, including Cyrillic ones. Moreover, the program provides the ability to sort fonts by language. This is very convenient - you don’t have to try all the headsets blindly.

    How to change system fonts on Android manually

    This is a low-level method that requires root access. mandatory. There are no programs used here, you don’t have to install anything. But there is the greatest risk of making a mistake and rendering your device inoperable. Therefore, think carefully before you get down to business.

    How to change the font to “Android 4 4 2” with Root rights?

    The method also works on all new versions of Android OS. In fact, there is nothing complicated here. Just act carefully and thoughtfully, and everything will work out.

    The procedure for changing the system font is as follows:

    1. 1.Prepare the font you need in advance in the form of a True Type Font file (with the .ttf extension). Make sure it supports Cyrillic.
    2. 2.Run (or pre-install) on your smartphone file manager, which works with system files, for example, ES File Explorer.
    3. 3.Upload the prepared font file to some folder where it will be at hand.
    4. 4.Open the /system/fonts folder in the file manager and find the Roboto-Regular.ttf file there (this is the system font of your device).
    5. 5.Make it backup copy– copy with a name, for example, Roboto-Regular.tt_
    6. 6.Move the previously prepared file with the new font to the /system/fonts folder and rename it Roboto-Regular.ttf
    7. 7.Set permissions for this file to 644.

    In some places on the interface you may not see the new font. This is because the options used there are Roboto-Bold.ttf or Roboto-Italic.ttf. Then do the same manipulations with them too - replace them with the corresponding fonts from your set.
